I disagree that these are not pigmented. They are mediocre but show up …maybe because my lids are medium veering on dark naturally . However they irritate my eyes like nothing else. My guess is that the finely milled shimmer isn’t incorporated into it properly and falls into the eyes after a few minutes. It looks beautiful with a wing. My eyes become red with it in a few minutes. Not worth my eyes feeling blistered for.

Very pretty packaging. The colours, and overall look of this quad is what pulled me to buy it. Plus it is very affordable. However, 3 out of the 4 colors were not very pigmented at all! The only one that really showed up was the brown shade. Very powdery, and messy. I tried to follow the tutorial on the back of the package, and I just couldn’t get it to look good at all. I don’t think I would reach for any of the other quads in this line.

The colors look pretty in the palette. However, I just couldn’t make this work for me. The shadows are very powdery, with a lot of product kick up if you swipe the palette (left upper pink). It feels very chalky and it is not finely milled. The pigmentation is poor. There is a lot of glitter and fallout. I use this as the base shade. The upper right and lower left look virtually identical on. I use these two shades for the lids. They are shimmery. The only decent color is the bottom right -mauve/brown sheen which I use to deepen the outer v. I find that I need to supplement with a midtone brown as the transition shade from another palette (e.g. Wedge Mac or Naked, Naked 1).
I don’t know how else to describe this. I have similar shade colors in Dior, Urban Decay and Mac palettes. But whereas I can pull off those colors fine, the colours from the palette just look really bad! There’s a subtlety and complexity in the colors from the other palettes – but here, it just looks glittery/shimmery.
Maybe I’m too dark for this? I’m NC20 Mac. But when I swatch or wear this, the pinks and gold actually looks identical as well. And it barely shows.
I know this isn’t a high end palette, so there is a lower expectation of the quality. However, in my country, this is $25! I would honestly suggest instead saving a bit more and buying a ChiChi palette instead (12 colors for $30 – but usually on sale, 2 for $30). $25 down the drain is an expensive waste. This palette is a big fail from me.

Decadent is a lovely palette to use for everyday wear. The colours are subtle and work appropriate. Using this palette will make you looked polished and ‘done’ without looking too made up. All of the colours have good pigmentation. Only minimal creasing occurs when the shadows are worn for an extended period of time (10+ hours). The colours all work together and compliment each other very well, and don’t make my brown eyes look dull. All the colours have a subtle shimmer to them, which I personally like but won’t be appealing to everybody. The packaging is sturdy and the palette is small enough to travel with easily. I definitely enjoy using this palette.

Smells like desensitized baby wipes. I thoroughly enjoy this product due to its color variation and flexibility in creating looks. Allow me to add that the image doesnt do it justice. Every color is richer in pigment, and the left 2 shades are seemingly switched in color. The top left corner is white and the bottom left is a definite pink. However, all the colors are slightly shimmery with miniscule sparkles, unfortunately no mattes. The 505 Decadent shades, you receive a slightly shimmery and deepish pearly color for the highlight- fairly generic, universally natural light color rather than a beaming highlight. The lid shade, an orangey tan (the picture is less gold than in real life) is better suited for the crease for a simpler look rather than the lid, in place of the bubblegum pink in my opinion. However, placing the colors as suggested on the packaging suits a more dramatic look since the lid is darkened with the tan rather than the pink. I especially adore the deep cocoa brown shade for its ability to serve as an outer corner lowlight or a wash over the lashline, and the image portrays a deeper, more purple version of it in actuality. Overall, I genuinely admire the ease that comes with this specific arrangement of colors and shades because application is made simple and obvious; you don’t even need to use all 4 colors for a nice gradient effect. I used this combination for Jaclyn Hill’s “cat eye makeup tutorial” and it turned out flawlessly, albeit a bit chalky alongside a great color payoff for a shimmery shadow set. Whether for dramatic smokey eyes or an everyday look, this quad serves me consistently. 7/10.

I too love this quad. It’s a great work appropriate combination of colours, they wear well throughout the day, play nicely together and also with other colours. I’ve been using Maybelline color tattoos as bases, I can do the eye look suggested on the back of the package, but I can vary the combinations to suit my attire and mood (the chocolate brown faded up with the gold as the transition looks gorgeous). Picked it up on clearance, have worn it regularly and happy. Yes, it isn’t as finely milled as a HE shadow, no it doesn’t give an editorial look, but for a cheap and cheerful that looks great at work and understated of a weekend, it suits my lifestyle perfectly and I’ve still got a pretty eye make up look that I love at the end of a 14 hour work day, gotta be happy with that.

Love this eyeshadow. The crease colour is perfect for me. The eyeshadow doesn’t smudge or fade or come off during the day like many others do, not even in the crease! Highlight shade does have a small amount of glitter in it but nothing drastic.

I am surprised by the bad reviews. The colors are stunning on me. They enhance my eye color and do show up. They just aren’t very dark like a smoky eye look. They are nice neutral that leans warm. There is a little shimmer in it, but not a lot. I have to look very close to even notice any shimmer. These shadows are not for someone who wants dark or bright eye shadows. These are definitely more of a soft everyday look. There is a lot of warmth in them so it adds a nice warm glow to your skin. Definitely a keeper. Oh and they also wear well throughout the day. I have had no issue with it wearing off even in the hot summer months.

I bought it cause i thought the colors were very nice and pretty but it was to sparkly.

I concur with the reviewer below. The pigmentation in this palette is awful. I bought Precocious and I loved it, so I bought Decadent and Attitude thinking they would both have the same pigmentation and texture as Precocious. I was very wrong; I haven’t tried Attitude, yet, but Decadent does not show up. I see tons of product on my shadow brush, but it applies so sheer, you can’t see it. Very weird. It’s a shame, because the gold and pinks would’ve looked terrific together.
