The concept of a 100% natural deodorant that actually works, appeals immensely to me but in reality it’s not that easy finding an effective one. Initially I purchased this in a trial size, liked it, purchased the full size jar and halfway through using I started to notice a distinctive dark pigmentation patch appearing on my underarms, the left side in particular. Luckily they disappeared within a couple of weeks after discontinuing use, but for a moment I was truly panicked thinking how do I get rid of this new problem? Despite my experience and the fact that these definitely don’t come cheap, I would probably try another variation from this brand as I’m certain it was the Geranium oil in this that I reacted to as it’s the only ingredient in here that I’ve never used in any other product and is known for causing a reaction in some. Usage of the deodorant was slightly messy. I found ‘pressing’ it into my underarms was the best way to apply, and on most days gave me a good 8 hours’ odor protection at least.
