   This stuff is absolutely amazing. I normally just use mother dirt’s AO+ Biome Spray but I use this deodorant when I am going to be wearing one of my silk tops that I want to try to wash as little as possible. This stuff is completely non-irritating unlike every other natural deodorant I have tried, the smell is great (I have the Cedar Spruce one), and it just works really well. It coats your armpit in a way that makes you feel completely protected/dry but it doesn’t leave any uncomfortable or white residue. It also hasn’t stained any of my tops (even the black ones). The packaging is completely paper which I think is also up there as one of the best parts of the product as well since you can feel good knowing you won’t have any plastic waste. All around a big big win.

   After reading so many good reviews about the Meow Meow Bi Carb free natural deodorant in Grapefruit, I was hopeful it was going to work. After using Black Chicken Axilla which was amazing but gave me a nasty rash, I was on the hunt for a natural deodorant.

   Unfortunately this product didn’t even remotely work for me….such a shame as I was truly hoping it would. Waste of money for me. Gave it to my mum and she gave the same feedback, did nothing.

   I got back in touch with Black Chicken and asked if they are going to make a bi carb free range. I am happy to report they are and I have since become one of the testers for this product and it is going good for preventing odour and sweating. Will be released soon. An alternative during this time is Alcome Natural Bi Carb free deodorant. I tend to apply Schmidt’s Bi Carb Free deodorant then Alcome Natural Bi Carb Free deodorant and it worked a treat for odour. Alcome on it’s own is still good, but worked better with the two mixed together.

   I picked up the lavender version because my store was out of the grapefruit. I’ve used baking soda deodorants in the past for terrible results – my eczema-prone skin just does *not* like abrasives at all. The texture is a smoother paste than I expected: it’s easy to apply, and the residue washes off your hands with no difficulty. I’m still trying to figure out exactly how much I need to apply, but so far this is the best performing natural deodorant that I have ever tried. I get whiffs of the lavender throughout the day, but no pit smell even after a moderate workout. I’ll take that!

   I really love this deodorant, especially when comparing it to other natural deodorants. No, it doesn’t prevent you from sweating, but it does prevent odor and stickiness. It’s moisturizing and comfortable. It doesn’t leave stains on my clothing. Most importantly for me, it does not irritate my skin or cause a rash like most natural deodorants do. I generally apply it morning and night and that is sufficient for me, but in the hot summer months I may need to apply more frequently. This is normal for a natural deodorant. It’s chemical-free. It won’t work like your dove clinical strength deodorant. But it also won’t increase your risk for breast cancer so the minor inconvenience of needing to reapply once or twice a day is not a problem for me.

   *GRAPEFRUIT SCENT REVIEW*

   As a person with an intense family history and genetic predisposition to breast cancer, it is super important to me to be proactive about prevention, even with the little things…

   I also want to smell good and have pretty pits!

   That said, I bought this deodorant in Grapefruit (one of my favorite scents). While I was disappointed in the fragrance (you can hardly smell the grapefruit scent at all), I was BLOWN AWAY by the performance of this product and can add my own citrus perfume to my body for scent…

   The point of deodorant is to work, and this baby works better than the commercial brands with the harmful ingredients and it feels fantastic on and takes great care of my armpits. I do NOT like applying it with my fingers, but I’ve gotten used to it and just do it right out of the shower so I can immediately wash my hands. It rubs right in and leaves no residue, and you only need a pea size, or a little more for added protection under each arm.

   Let me be clear, I am a sweater! And, I am a performer (pro artist), and I’m a 5’10 amazon. If this stuff works for me (for more than 24 hours straight, mind you), it will work for anyone! I will not stop using this because it’s fabulous and because it’s one more step I can take to protect myself from harmful ingredients…

   I apply this product generously under my arms and have been using it primarily in the humid spring weather. I was surprised to see how well it worked to prevent odor (although I did detect some odor creeping up on me by the end of a long workday). This product did nothing for me in terms of preventing me from sweating (granted, it is not an antiperspirant), but it did help me to dry more quickly afterward. I think this would be an excellent deodorant for the winter and fall months, as it is extremely moisturizing and non-irritating. I love Schmidt’s deodorant and use it religiously, but I have found that if I use it for three consecutive days I get ridiculous irritation in my armpits and can no longer apply deodorant there. This grapefruit deodorant by Meow Meow Tweet would be an excellent alternative for those with sensitive skin or even to alternate with Schmidt’s deodorant to avoid baking soda overload. The packaging and ethics of the company are also exceptional. This is a great buy.

   Love this deo! After it absorbs, it doesnt leave behind stuff on your clothes, and its dry, soothes and moisturizes your skin like you’ve been to a spa. Gives you pretty armpits. Lasts 6-8 hours for me. But a commercial deo like dove 48hr would last that long for me.
   Will repurchase. Smells like citrusy grapefruit.
   No rash or skin issues.
