This review is for the roll on
There’s two types of QV deo roll on s,one with blue cap which is just Alcohol-Free and Fragrance-Free and one with white cap which is also Aluminium-Free.I have used both versions for years and none of them caused any irritations and they both do a decent job in preventing odour.right now I have the one with blue cap and I feel it does slightly better job in keeping away bad smell and seems to have a longer lasting effect but it may be just my imagination.this is the only difference between them other than the Aluminum
It has to be used after shower on clean and dry skin and it says on it:shake well with cap on before use.it’s fragrance free but has a hint of non-perfumey smell,a very very mild one which I can notice when I smell it closely.it’s ok and I’m happy that there’s no strong fragrance to interfere with my perfumes.it doesn’t leave white marks on my shirts or my armpit skin, doesn’t dry out my skin and doesn’t feel sticky
There are various cheeper drugstore roll on déodorants like Nivea,8X4,Rexonna,Dove & … but they’re all perfumey and I hate perfumey Deo s and they usually feel sticky or make my skin itchy and red,so I prefer this QV Roll-ons,I can’t use Deo sprays because my dog is severly allergic to them, even the scentless ones!
Right now my HG Déodorant is Cliven 7 days which is a cream and can keep me odour less in the hottest days even if I decide to skip shower for a week!(well I’m not that nasty but once I had a surgery and I had to prevent water for a week,so I know that),even though I love that Cliven Deo cream, sometimes Roll Ons feel easier to use and that’s when I reach for this QVs
The only down side I can think of is the Parabens among their ingredients.they would be perfect if those were removed
I’m going to try Uriage Deo Roll the next and if it wasn’t better,I’m going to continue repurchasing these QVs

This review is for the spray, not the roll-on. The roll-on contains parabens, which kind of defeats the purpose of an aluminium free deodorant as others have said. It smells a bit weird coming out of the can, but I cannot smell it on me. I’ve only had to apply it once a day, but we’re not had any really hot days (above 30 degrees Celsius) lately, so I can’t yet say how well it works in hot weather. So far I’m impressed – long lasting and no white marks, yay! It’s also reasonably priced, and it’s nice to not have deodorant clash with my perfume. No clogging issues yet, will update if this happens.

Yuk! This is just plain awful. Yes it has no aluminum – but that is the only thing going for this product.
It is supposed to have no fragrance but it smells like stove gas & a general chemical smell. Really gross!
It worked ok at keeping odour away, not excellent. If I didn’t spray tons of this on I found it didn’t work at all.
And the final cherry on the top was the gross discharge that started oozing from the canister nozzle every time I used it. I’ve has this for a month & it has clogged the whole nozzle up with gunk so I can’t use it anymore. Which is fantastic bc it’s an awful product & needed to be thrown out. Buyer beware – don’t buy!!!!!

I pretty much agree with the other reviewer on this deodorant. I do like the packaging. I do like the fragrance free and aluminium free. I do like that it doesn’t leave any marks on clothing at all. But I don’t like the parabens, and it’s not as effective as I’d like. It’s probably ok for a winter antiperspirant, but definitely not for summer.

I’ve tried heaps of aluminium free deoderants – this one is just OK. It has a nice creamy formula that doesnt leave streaks on your clothes and is very gentle on the skin. It has a barely detectable scent that all QV products have which I quite like. But all that aside, unfortunately it simply isnt that effective at combatting the smellies! It does work, but only just and I need to reapply a number of times throughout the day. The tube it comes in makes it hard to get the product out. Plus while its aluminium free, its full of parabens, so why swap one evil for another?!
