I bought this product for the gorgeous apple scent and because the retro packaging made me nostalgic for a Garnier conditioner I used to use in France. I wish I could recommend it, but it was a poor fit for my baby fine hair. It never seemed to rinse completely cleanly. This surprised me given that it’s not a particularly thick or unctuous formula. The matching shampoo is a little better, but this conditioner isn’t for me.
With that said, it’s cheap and is often on offer. And, as mentioned above, it smells absolutely delicious.

This conditioner is so bad. Aside from the cute packaging, I can’t think of anything good about it. The smell was great when I first bought it but after a few uses, smelled like cheap air freshener. My hair feels sticky and dried out after using it. Had to toss it.

I absolutely love this conditioner. It gives just enough moisture without weighing the hair down. It washes out really well, and doesn’t leave any residue. It smells really great. I’ve noticed that my hair doesn’t get greasy as quickly as it used to. It is definitely worth a try!

Awesome conditioner. Leaves my hair soft and shiny and smooth. I will not be repurchasing this for one reason though. Once my hair dries, all I can smell is blood or raw eggs. It’s the strangest thing. Maybe it’s my nose. I don’t know. But it lingers. It smells great while I use it in the shower and the main reason I bought it was because I liked the scent so much. I did end up using the entire giant bottle because I really liked what it did for my hair, but oh my God!

I hadn’t used Garnier hair products in nearly a decade so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I really like this conditioner! It’s a good consistency that doesn’t just slip out of my hair in the shower, but it’s not heavy at all. Rinses out cleanly and leaves my hair soft, detangled and quite shiny but not weighed down. My hair is on the thin side and doesn’t have any major issues with damage or anything like that so it works well for me; however, it’s not the moist moisturizing product so it may not suit someone with very dry hair who needs a huge amount of moisture. I rotate products and only use this conditioner once a week but so far I haven’t had any huge issues with build-up. The scent is pretty much just apples to me with no green tea, which is fine, and it also lingers in my hair until the next time I wash it. Overall I like this conditioner a lot for something that will make my hair look nice without weighing it down, and would probably repurchase. I also plan on trying the rest of the Whole Blends products as well, since I was impressed with this one.
