It is good for cowashing. It smells like coconut. I like it. It’s not very moisturizing but it’s great for detangling before washing. I will repurchase it for those reasons. But don’t buy it expecting it to be the greatest conditioner ever. It’s a basic instant conditioner with a little slip.

I grabbed this because it smelled good and it was… maybe around 99 cents.
It was basically a panic buy, my favorite conditioner is Garnier Fructis Length and Strength but lately it has become really hard to find (have they discontinued it? I don’t know!).
To be honest I’ve only used this Vo5 conditioner one time, but I thought it was enough to write a review.
Background: My hair is longer than shoulder-length and dry at the ends ( I haven’t gotten my hair cut since the gov’t shutdown in October, so the ends are getting really bad 🙁 )
The smell is great, probably the best part of it. I showered at 5:40ish this morning, and my hair still smells great at 1:40 pm.
My main issue was how thin it was, I probably used about 1/8 of the bottle on my hair for just once use. This might not be a problem for someone with shorter hair (or possibly better hydrated hair?) but it was a deal breaker for me.
I would even go as far to describe it as watery, I just kept squeezing it on to actually distribute it evenly on my hair. I definitely will not buy it again, even for a dollar.

I use this only to co-wash with and as a leave-in conditioner so I can’t speak much on it as a regular conditioner so my apologies in advance. This has a strong coconut scent, slightly generic, that does linger on my hair after it air-dries. It has good slip and rinses clean which I am looking for when I do co-wash. It gives my hair some weight, but doesn’t kill the curl (I have 3b hair) and actually help to define my curls a bit which is why I like it as a cheap leave-in. I sometimes add some of my favorite oils to it (I like jojoba, macadamia, rice bran oil, or argan oil just to name a couple for now) with a capful of aloe vera juice. It cost me less than a buck which is a steal and I can use as much as I want without feeling guilty. It pour out the bottle quite runny but on its own it has a yogurt consistency if that makes sense. I do feel like it gives a good moisture balance to my hair when I don’t need anything too heavy. Would repurchase

Lovely coconut fragrance and a creamier feel than V05’s strawberry conditioner. Rinses and detangles well and tames the frizz all day. Leaves my hair very soft. Even the packaging is great as the flat cap lets me flip it upside down in my shower caddy so I can get every drop from the bottle. Best of all (besides the dollar a bottle price) this conditioner is silicone free. I use this as my daily co-wash. Will definitely repurchase.

This conditioner smells awesome. It’s coconut and some other notes that smell like coconut perfume. The formula is thick and detangles well. It almost has a balm like feel to it. It left my hair feeling moisturized and tamed the friz. It did weigh my hair down and feel a little waxy. I prefer Suave Naturals Coconut conditioner over this and it’s easier to find.
