I love Bobbi Brown. I usually work with very liquid-y formulas and achieve a natural matte look because those products set themselves, and I have oily skin(it doesn’t mean I need to stay away from hydrating formulas). But this concealer isn’t innovative at all. It’s like putting water under my eyes and expecting it no to spread out and settle in creases. It makes my undereye look more creasy and old (I’m 17 years old), even after I set with my best powder I still get BAD creases. However, when I pair this with a more creamy concealer, I get a beautiful balance. I also like my under eye area to look natural and balanced- not radiant and not too matte.
But I’m not gonna buy a concealer in order to make another one work.
Another thing to do with this concealer is bronze or contour! I’ve found that very liquid-y formulas are perfect for that because they blend perfectly and end up flawless. You also don’t need to worry about crease or settling into lines because the places you bronze\contour don’t have that! I love the applicator and the packaging its cute.
So I don’t like this for under my eyes, but on the rest of my face it’s nice.
But I will not buy this again just for contouring or bronzing because there are other products that have the same benefits, but they set themselves and come in bigger containers for the same price or cheaper (and still high end)

I’m been trying this product for a few months now and I never get tired of the packaging. The packaging is absolutely GORGEOUS but I would never repurchase this.This review is going to be full of a sentence followed by a lot of “but’s”. I like how it provides amazing coverage, completely concealing my undereyes but it is way too expensive for the amount of product in the package. Even though I’m 18 and don’t need an eye cream, it provides a eye cream-like component that leaves my eyes feeling refreshed but it is a bit too watery for my taste. I like how it is fragrance free and how they have a variety of colors but because of the dewy formula, sometimes it just glides off or comes apart right after I apply it if I don’t put on a setting powder right away. Overall, I would not repurchase but it is still a great product.

Update Sept. 2017: I find this does wear off fairly quickly unless I use a primer underneath so I will amend my comments below regarding the long-wearing aspect of this concealer. Without a primer it’s gone within a few hours.
Despite the hefty price tag, I didn’t have high expectations for this concealer given I’ve been disappointed by most concealers. However, I’ve been pleasantly surprised so far. My biggest issue with concealers in general is that they wear off during the day, especially as I have very watery eyes. The most tenacious one I’ve found to date has been the MAC Pro Longwear, but it’s somewhat drying. With this one I found a little goes a very long way — it’s surprisingly pigmented for a supposed serum concealer. It’s very thick and creamy but spreads easily and the finish is slightly luminous. I see other reviewers find it goes on patchy and sinks into lines. I haven’t found that to be the case. At 59 years old I definitely have mature skin and lines under the eyes. I think it helps that I apply a serum textured primer underneath (Cover FX anti-aging primer) and set with a finishing powder. The thing I’m most pleased about is that at the end of my work day, 12 hours in, it is still holding up well and not settling into lines, nor does it look overly drying like the MAC product. I picked the shade Warm Ivory (#3) even though I have cool-toned skin (NW20) and it is a good match, with a nice brightening effect, not too pale or too dark.

This is one of the worst under eye formulas I’ve ever used! It is greasy on application and shiny. Then it dries to a nice cracked desert look with patchy coverage. Just awful. I’m sticking with Fiona Stiles under eye corrector. Seems to be my HG for dark circles!

In Germany this concealer retails for 45 euros, that almost 50 dollars! It costs as much as a Chanel foundation which is 30ml, this concealer is 7 ml! I’ve been on a search for my HG concealer for at least 15 years, so I am willing to splurge. I don’t use foundation or tinted moisturizer anyway, so I thought if this is my HG, it’s totally worth it. Let me be blunt: this stuff sucks. I bought it because they said it’s a ‘weightless coverage’ and it has serum like benefits. I haven’t stuck with it long enough to get the serum benefits, because the texture sucks. It’s very thin, but it spreads very patchy and clings to dryness I didn’t even knew I had. I have very few lines under my eyes, but this concealer manages to emphasize even those. The coverage is medium, but it’s so patchy, it’s even hard to say. The color is nice, I have Natural which is very peachy, a bit too dark for my NC20 skin, but works. The packaging is gorgeous, the most elegant I’ve ever seen in a concealer, but I simply cannot use it because I can’t make it look decent under my eyes, even a toddler can tell I’m wearing concealer and a badly blended one at that. Total loss of 45 euros. :-/

This was the last product I threw into my basket before checking out on my last trip to Sephora. I make a Sephora purchase maybe three times a year, and unless I’m going in for one specific item, I notice that an actual “haul” starts taking a downward spiral on my way to the cashier. I saw the words “intensive” and “serum” for a concealer and I grabbed an orangy shade for it’s color corrective properties without a second thought. I knew absolutely nothing about this product and decided that it goes under one’s usual concealer. Which is how I’ve used it, and continue to use it that way although I have since learned that it’s not intended to be used that way exactly. Which to be honest, I don’t get. I mean if it’s got alleged skin care properties, it just seems logical to use it that way.
Anyway I’m enjoying it very much because the shade does indeed correct my purple undereyes and the formula provides both moisture and coverage. It looks fine on it’s own but HAHAHAHAHAHA that’s not going to do it for THESE undereyes. I use a full coverage concealer over it (currently loving KVD lock-it cream) with great results. I do think it makes a worthwhile difference, and I’m always looking for something to up my concealer game so this does the trick.

I like this more than I expected to! I bought it last year and forgot about it until this summer. I’d been matched to Honey, which is just a tiny bit darker than my skintone and more orangey which I thought wouldn’t work at first but it seems to blend with my skin better if it’s left to settle for a couple of minutes, before topping off with some loose powder.
This concealer has an unusually lightweight texture and is almost undetectable once set with powder. It’s working very well for me at the moment because I haven’t been wearing foundation this summer and this product helps give me a polished but very natural summer look. I haven’t noticed any slippage or creasing during the day and it doesn’t settle in lines, even when I’ve been heavy handed in applying it.
I had been using NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer before this. If I compare the two, the NARS gives better coverage of dark circles but has a heavier and drier texture, and the shade I was matched to (Ginger) works well with foundation but looks more obvious without. The Intensive Serum Concealer won’t cover dark circles completely but will give a very natural finish if undereye circles are not a major problem.
I’ve taken off a star only because the shade is not a perfect match.
*Update* I’d been mixing Honey with the dregs from my NARS concealer, but have now purchased Warm Natural, which is shade lighter and an excellent match for my skin. The right shade makes all the difference! I’ve increased my rating to 5 stars and it looks as if this going to be a repeat purchase.
Would also suggest starting off with just two light dabs under each eye; this product is very fluid and goes a long way. I find that if I apply too much I end up smoothing it over half my face. I’ll add another dab or two if I still need it.
Update 14/04/18; I switched to the Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer last year for more coverage and because I sometimes found the serum took a long time to blend if I accidentally applied too much. I’ve come to the conclusion that the best concealers are those in wand form, with a texture somewhere between these two. I do love Bobbi Brown’s shade range though…

This has already become my favourite undereye concealer. It’s lightweight (almost runny actually), very easy and pleasant to use and offers a surprisingly fresh and natural look – major asset for perpetually tired eyes. It makes my undereye area look soft, fresh and plump and gives a refined glow without emphasizing the puffiness I often tend to get (I do not have dark circle issues, but I have no reasons to suppose it wouldn’t work well on top of some corrector). Plus, it lasts well without fading badly or drying out into a crusty mess – and I don’t even set it with powder. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to like it so much (“OK, just another concealer” I thought to myself at the Bobbi Brown counter), but now I think I will probably say goodbye to all the other concealers in my drawer!

I bought the serum concealer in combination with the creamy corrector. It’s just give a light cover and after few hours the product is totally gone even with a combination with powder. So disappointed

Very disappointing concealer. I used this along with the light bisque serum corrector. The consistency isn’t very thick and reallY sat in my under eye creases – I had to dab it around 5 times before it got out. I found the coverage wasn’t that good at all, nothing more compared to my usual drugstore concealer. I have sensitive combo dry skin and used a little of this around my nose, which resulted in my nose stinging all morning, so much so I had to remove my make up after a few hours. After using this concealer along with the corrector for 3 days I returned both items for a full refund. I was not impressed at all, even tho I absolutely love bobbies eye shadows and lipsticks and blushes, the serum corrector and concealer really disappointed me. I’m now using my Mac prolong wear concealer which has amazing coverage and is so much better than this serum corrector.
