This is a pricey cleanser, but I think it is worth it! I use this stick at night to wash off my makeup after a pass with makeup remover around the eyes. I make quick swipes with the stick around my face and lather then rinse off. I have found that it is not drying and I only use a very small amount each time I wash my face. I love the rosey smell and was surprised by the petals in the stick. I may keep try a different cleanser that is foaming or liquid next, but I do love the convenience of the stick for travel in the future.
I had been using missha foaming cleanser for a few months and used a diluted version of Dr. Bronner’s Castille soap before that for a few years. The Castile soap was too drying although I didn’t realize it until I switched! The foaming cleanser was fine, but wanted to try this cleansing stick after reading reviews online. I have combination skin that still gets a few pimples every month, ongoing hyper pigmentation from acne scars, and skin that is very sensitive.

I bought this because I read Skin&Tonic’s review and skincare routine. I fell in love with Kerry’s routine on the website and pretty much purchased everything she uses. I did not like this stick. I bought it on Amazon and spent nearly $35 on it.
Pros:
– It smells like roses
– It is great for travel
Cons:
– Expensive!
– Drying. This is not gentle.
– The stick hurt to rub over my face when I had inflamed blemishes.
– Though they say the pH is balanced, it acts like a very alkaline cleanser to me, similar to bar soap.
– The high content of lauric acid may cause irritation and acne in some people
