Smells like orange and tangerine citrus peel. Contains micro-scrubbie particles and ground argan nut shell powder, just enough for daily exfoliation. Also has a pinch of lactic acid, salicylic acid and fruit acids. Contains vitamin C in the stable form of ascorbyl glucoside, although there is not a lot of research on this form of vitamin c and skin brightening effects. I like to massage this into skin and leave on for 30 to 60 seconds to give the active ingredients time to work. I find this to be an effective cleanser that offers gentle exfoliation and leaves my face feeling clean and smooth. This does not irritate my skin or cause breakouts. My skin looks a bit brighter after using this daily for a couple weeks. I find this to work similar to, but not as good as, the Clinique Vitamin C cleanser packets.

I bought this cleanser on a whim. I was looking for a gentle exfoliater as I have sensitive skin. What a mistake! One use was all it took to cause a breakout which I haven’t had for years (I’m 62.) I pitched it into the garbage it went. Not gentle!
