I am 49 years old and found this cleanser to be very soft and gentle for my skin, which is dry to combination.
I liked the smell of this, although the rose is quite strong, but personally I liked it.

This product smells lovely, has a nice consistency and cleanses the skin leaving it soft and clean. I reach for this in winter time when my skin is a tad more sensitive.

This is a beautiful smelling gentle gel cleanser that foams very very mildly, if at all sometimes. I tend to cleanse with at least two products and when I use this one it is as the finish to an oiler or thicker first cleanse. It is just really pleasant to use and I don’t feel I am stripping my face and leaving it dry. I guess my only gripe is that too much of the product comes out when I pump so I feel that I’m wasting some of it.

I love this cleanser! It’s the first one I’ve tried that removes almost all of my makeup in one wash but doesn’t dry my skin out. I use it with Ren’s Ultra Moisture Day Cream at night and they’re a pretty good combination – leave my skin clean, soft and free of redness. Packaging is perfect and the scent is really pretty once you get used it.

Hm – I don’t think I like this one. I really like the toner of this line (love rose water for my face), and I’ve been using that religiously for about 2 years. So I thought the accompanying cleansing gel would be just as good, but unfortunately it isn’t.
It’s quite gentle, though, so for sensitive skin this may be preferable.
Overall, I don’t believe this cleanses very well. It also leaves a weird after-feel – I can’t explain it. With face wash I’m either expecting that super-clean feel (almost like when you use soap) or a much more glide-y feel where you accept that your skin may not be super clean but it’s not dry either. This is somewhere inbetween, and it feels weird. I don’t like it.
Unfortunately, I went ahead of myself and bought two bottles because I thought I was going to like it. :-/ That was a dumb move.

I was really exited about this product. I bought it to use as an am cleanser, which it did do a good job as. There was just one problem: It made my face itch. I was really thorough when taking it off, and I tried it mutiple times. Every time it made my face itch. I don’t have any allergies, but my skin is a little bit sensitive, and this product have quite a strong scent.
I wouldn’t recommend this to someone who knows they have sensitive skin, especially those sensitive to scented products. Besides that this product left my skin feeling moist after washing, perfect for swedish winter!

It seems rather unfair to state I would not buy this product again, as I do think this is a good cleanser and I did enjoy using it. The packaging is great. It is easy to see how much product you have left and because of the pump it is also very sanitary. Furthermore, I generally keep my cleanser in the shower and the packaging was great at keeping water away from the product. I am not a fan of the scent of this product, it has a very strong rose scent (as might be expected, given the name). However, this is a personal preference and I am not deducting any lippies for this.
The product does a good job at cleansing my skin. I usually rub the gel between my hands to create some lather, however, it never becomes super foamy. I cannot use this product around my eyes, because it causes stinging. It seems to remove foundation rather well. Why would I not buy this product again, you might ask? Because I feel this product is slightly drying on my normal to dry skin. It leaves my skin slightly tight. I have repurchased my favorite cleanser by Paula’s Choice, which leaves my skin soft and supple and which I can also use on my eyes. I do think this is a good cleanser for normal to oily skin.

This is a new category for the updated package, name, and formula of this cleanser. It was previously known as the Ren Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Wash. The ingredients have changed in the new formula and are listed above.
My review: Easily my favorite cleanser. It helps that I’m quite partial to rose scents, but I love this cleanser. I find the formula effortlessly removes longwearing foundation, stubborn sunscreen, and my eye makeup (Note I do not wear waterproof mascara) all while using nothing that clogs my skin, which has taken me years to find. I’ve struggled to find an oil cleanser or balm that removes my makeup while keeping my moisture balance in tact but this does it with no fussy occlusive agents or clogs. I use this both morning and evening on dry skin, massage it in for about a minute, and rinse. In the evening, I do double cleanse with this to remove product and properly cleanse.
This does lather ever so mildly, it’s more of a milky texture than a foam though when it does. I don’t find this stripping at all. I use about a pump and a half on my face at night to remove makeup and I’ll wet my hands to lather up the cleanser after a minute of massaging and breaking down the makeup. Using this to double cleanse at night and in the morning does make me go through a bottle about every 6-8 weeks, but I’m okay with that since I only own this cleanser now. Highly recommend for acneic skin that is prone to dehydration.
