I tried his just to have a cleanser so when I get home from work and before the gym I can rinse my skin. It is horrible. It doesn’t lather at all or clean your face. Too expensive for what it is. Avene is so heavily perfumed I’m not sure how they can claim there products are good for very sensitive skin.

I waS really disappointed in this product. I am using differin gel (retin a) and finacea gel for anti aging and rosacea – they have both made my skin very sensitive. I bought this because it is supposed to be gentle but it really irritates my skin when I use it. I think this is due in part to being highly fragranced. I’m Also not a fan of cleansers that really sting be burn if you get them in your eye – I accidentally did that with this one and it was agony! I find other pharmacy brands like la Roche do much better sensitive skin cleaners.

Ive been using this cleanser for a few years now, tried some other cleanser in between but I always come back to this one. Its great for sensitive skin since its very gentle, cleanses very well and its pretty soothing too. My face so refreshed after, tho it feels a little tight after patting dry (but almost all cleansers do this, unless its a cream or milk cleanser).

I recently decided to cave and pay extra in search of a non irritating gel cleanser. I am in my early 50’s and have sensitive combination skin … now breaking out rather bad on my chin from hormone treatment. As working in pharmacy for over 30yrs myself , I knew most skincare products either sorted oily skin OR senisitve skin OR dry skin. You use a gel cleanser .. it helps with the oil but strips your skin … you use a creamy cleanser , it leaves you with an oil slick down the middle and a puddle of spots! Add allergies to the mix and you’re stuffed. This cleanser is absolutely the best! It has really settled my skin … no longer super shiny … no longer red and irritated. My complexion looks so much more balanced and my spots are clearing. Believe me .. I have a cupboard full of lotions and potions that seem ok at first , then create havoc. This one is a keeper. I no longer wear makeup , but I think it could take a double wash , or a good toner to thoroughly get it all off. That is the only criticism I would have , but if it were stronger , then I wouldn’t be able to use it. I wont begrudge the price if it lasts long enough … just have to wait and see.

This is now my HG cleanser. I’ve used many different ones over the years. My skin is normal to dehydrated at times. It does not irritate my skin at all. My skin can tend towards redness and thus cleanser does not exacerbate that. The price is great. $20 for 200 ml. The new packaging with pump is fabulous. I use two pumps for my whole face. My first bottle lasted approximately 5 months. I would and did repurchase

This was part of a GWP set from Shoppers. This is a gel cleanser that runs a bit towards the creamy side when put on. It cleansed my bare skin but did not do so well with makeup. accordingly I left in the shower for am use when I wake up. It rinsed clean and there was no residue. When I used my Micellar water afterwards, there was nothing further that came off, so it cleansed well. I did not notice any sent, especially rose that other reviews speak of as I HATE rose. 50ml lasted me a good month and half using it 3 to 4 times a week. As a cleanser it is not bad but I prefer my Biore ones over this. I would use it again if it came with another GWP but would not actively go out and buy it.

The 1st week I used this cleanser, my skin feels fresh after each use. Move forward, the gel stings my skin just after 2 seconds in contact. Silly me, I carried on using this cleanser and face feels raw. Awful

This product is a trusty workhorse! It didn’t irritate, dry out or make my skin oily.
For some reason I was still looking for something else when this one wasn’t causing any dramas! The saying ‘A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush’ comes to mind. I think I’ve got to be happy when a product is working/causing no issues and stop looking around for more just for the thrill of the chase and never-ending promises of better products.
It’d be good to find something cheaper that does the same thing but it’s pretty good.
FYI: My skin is sensitive/normal/occasionally dry areas on forehead and chin/oily nose and chin/acne on cheeks. Used to be oily all over in my teens to mid-twenties.

I love this stuff. I never had proper beauty routine, because everything I tried felt so wrong. I would either feel too oily after, or too dry. So after my sister in law recommendation who has seriously gorgeous skin, I bought this cleanser. Pharmacist was telling me such a good things, so I decided I can look over the price. As soon as I started using it, I knew this is it. It cleans so well, but at the same time it is it is very gentle on the skin. My skin feels perfectly clean, but no ugly tight feeling afterwards. My skin is never oily anymore. I wish it is cheaper, but for what it is offering it is worth it.
