I just bought this cleanser from Korean skincare line G9 SKIN, and am absolutely in love with it. They randomly sold it at a local beauty store here in Spain and when I did some research on it, it seemed good. SO glad I picked it up.
It comes out as a pearly white, somewhat thick liquid, and you don´t need that much. It has a very clean smell, it doesn´t bother me at all, I actually really like it. It foams up wonderfully, and with a small marble-sized amount you have enough for your whole face.
I feel so clean and balanced afterwards. For some people they might not like that “squeaky-clean” feeling, but it´s not tight or stripped feeling, it just feels like a clean palate ready for the next steps in my skincare routine (I´m never one to wash my face and just go, but if that´s what you do this isn´t the cleanser for you).
I´ve read up on it and it sloughs off dead skin cells with natural AHA/BHA ingredients, and contains some whitening ingredients (Milk Protein extract – hence the name – and Glutathione) to achieve a more even tone and brighter complexion (when they say whitening in the context of Korean skincare they don´t mean lightening your skin tone, they mean lightening up age/sun spots, acne marks, etc. so you have more even tone).
I´ve only been using it for a week so I can´t speak to the whitening effects, but I love the way this makes my skin feel. I feel soft and fresh and completely clean, but not stripped of natural moisture. The texture is so pleasant I actually look forward to washing my face. I got it for 22€ at a local Asian beauty store so I wouldn´t call it cheap, but I think it´s a good price for the product, quality of ingredients, and what it does.
