Gets three points just because it’s not cruelty free. The product itself is amahzin.
One of those super gentle cleansers that doesn’t sting in the eye, dry you out or irritates the skin. Unscented and reliable in removing make up. I’m a performer and I’ve used this to remove a bunch of thick make up regularly. It’s a nice bonus that you can use this both with a cotton pad or directly on the skin and wash it away. Really liked this!

It is truly a gem for a sensitive skin with the tendency towards redness. It is a part of my face care routine in the morning. I spray my face with La Roche Posay thermal water and wipe my face with the cotton pad with just a bit of the gelee. Then I may repeat the procedure or round it up by using the thermal water again depending on how clean or dirty the cotton pad is. No redness, no uncomfortable sensations, the texture of my skin is so much better, the tone is bright and even, the pores are smaller. The skin is hydrated, clean, fresh and calm. If I don’t wear makeup or not too much of it I repeat the procedure in the evening. The gelee is meant to be used as a make up remover but I never remove mascara with it so I don’t know if it delivers as a mascara remover.
The stuff is very delicate as it has the consistency of a gelee, and it functions both as a cleanser and a toner with just 10 ingredients on its list. Rosa damascene flower water and laurus nobilis stem water (bay leaf water), both famous for their soothing properties, are on the ingredient list. Unfortunately the gelee is discontinued in the Netherlands but still available on Ebay.
