Typically I do not like blushes. It is either too pigmented, too chalky, wrong color, not long lasting, oxidizes or stiff in texture. Same applies for cream blushes.
I have never tried Bobbi brown anything, so decided to give this a whirl.
I like it. It applies well against my coloring. light in tone with a lot of pink in cheeks.
The pink doesn’t mix with other pigmented blushes. So, decided to choose something light and shimmery.
When applied, it is pigmented and blends with ease, so few light applications is nice. Hardly see the shimmer but it is somewhat noticeable super up close. From afar, it shimmers like the way a sun reflects against the waters.
Swatches in the store doesn’t do justice at all. Had to guess that I was buying something suitable.
Peachy tones doesn’t work too well, so if you have a tendency to go for pink blushes, this might be worth a look.

If you are fan of Lancome Shimmer Pink Pool (the old, more shimmery formula), you will find a friend in this. But it is even better! Finally milled, super soft and sheer. Much less dry than the Lancome Blush Subtils. There are indeed shimmer particles (warm/gold tone), which livens up the super cool pink shade. So be warned, if you hate shimmer and crave a matte finish, this is not for you. If you like the color, but hate the shimmers, check out BB Pale Pink, either in the creme or powder formula. The BB blushes and shadows come in such tiny compacts that they are perfect for travel. I keep Pink Sugar in my purse m/u bag because it is compact and easy to use, even without a mirror. It livens up my pasty/pale face immediately. For reference, I am nw10 with true pink under-tones, so this flatters. I can see how this might be garish on darker/warmer skin tones. Or it could be a pretty highlighter. Will certainly repurchase.

This became my most fave blush ever.
I’m surprised by the reviews on this product because it’s not too sheer or too glittery at all! It does look very shimmery on the pan but that does not transfer to the face in my experience.
My skin’s light but not porcelain, with warm tendencies. Although it looks way too sparkly and cool toned in the pan, it shows up beautiful on my face, making my skin look very healthy, vibrant and young. Cool toned blushes tend to look better than warm-peach ones on me, i don’t really know why.
Pigmentation is just perfect. It’s not too pigmented (like NARS) or too sheer. It’s difficult to overdo if you have a little darker skin, but on me it looks too bright when overdone.
I like the packaging because it’s small and closes securely. Would be cool if it had a mirror though.
I didn’t notice any smell when using the product.
Formulation is rather simple without too dangerous chemicals (that i know of).
One tip: This looks so amazing paired with Lancome’s color fever gloss in dangerously pink. With simple eye makeup, this duo will take years off your calendar 🙂

If I had to put this product into one word, I’d say: universal. First and foremost, it’s great because it is sheer. And here, I sense a lot of rant to be rising: how can a product be good if it is sheer? Just so you have an idea – I am very, very, extremely pale. And it is almost impossible to find a blush that doesn’t require a masterful light-weight application or hours of blending out to make is wearable when I just need to look fresh and natural – and here is where this Bobbi Brown Blush comes in. It was an impulse buy a couple years back, but I still like how versatile this is. Pink Sugar does provide a very natural, slightly dewy look without looking per se blushed. It makes my face look rested, natural, fresh.
It might not be much on darker skintones, but it is a find for all us snowwhites out there.
I do not think I’d repurchase this blush only because I have so many blushes and even more new ones to try, I rarely stick with repurchasing one shade over and over again.

Pale petal pink shimmer with gold glitter. I think its too pale and glittery to use as a regular blush. I like it for adding a bit of radiance to the cheekbones as a highlighter to finish off blush. When using shimmer blush, I like to apply it mainly to the cheekbones then buff it down to the apples slightly. I find this helps to define my face shape better than applying in circular motions like a regular blush. Be careful how much you use as a little adds glow but too much ends up looking a bit metallic. Overall I like the color but hate the pesky glitter. It doesn’t stay put, when I use it I keep finding glitter pieces all over my face, hands and clothes, and anyone I hug!!

Pink Sugar is a shimmery bright pink blush with slight cool tones. It’s really pigmented and a few brushes will go a long way. I love the pink little sparkles in it which give my cheeks a warm, sheen glow. They’re not over-the-top and will not enlarge my pores. I like how this pink complements tan skin and comes as a youthful radiant colour when I go tanned as well, as normally bright pink is a better match to procelain skintone.
I strongly recommend it to those who want a light, sheen pink sweet glow on your face!

I bought this on a whim at the make-up store at Leesburg Outlets. I think I paid $16 for it and liked the fresh pink color and know that it would be high quality like all BB products are (all my make-up is BB). This is a BRIGHT pink so go easy with it … I either put it on top of my usually peachy pink to brighten up my face or use it lightly alone to give me a natural flush. I’m super pale with blonde hair so blush can look fake or overdone really easily on me. This is nice and fresh as long as I use a light hand and don’t overapply. It looks pretty on the apples of my cheeks and the sparkles are not noticeable at all. Recommended!

The blush looks a lot like NARS’ angelika, but on the skin, it’s actually very different. I usually wear this with Benefit’s posie tint as a base, and it gives a nice healthy pink glow (not because it isn’t pigmented, but I find that the staying power isn’t very strong). It does tend to bring out the red in my skin with time, but still love the product.

I’ve had this blush for like 3 years now. I wore it a lot in middle school, and still wear it now at 16. It gives me (nw20) a beautiful glow and girlie pink flush. When I don’t know what blush to wear, I wear this. It is expensive ($22+ I believe) but it is very pigmented so it will last a long time. This blush is great for the minimalist who wants a nice, simple, glowing pink cheek with some shimmer. Great blush for teens too, because its hard to over do. A light application works for school, more for dances and parties! I really love this color, and would buy it again if I ever run out.

I’m porcelin pale, so I naturally thought this would be the correct color of the shimmer blushes for me. Nope. I own sheer pink for the cheek tints and pale pink from the regluar line of blushes, and both of these work for me as long as I don’t use too heavy a hand. Pink sugar, though, barely even shows up on me. Neither the color nor shimmer show up much. As such, this is a fail for me, though I gave it two lippies because it might show up as a very youthful color on someone with darker skin.
