They dry out my lips. Pretty color but fades fast and very drying

I have this blush in Roly Poly Rosy. The color is a beautiful rosy pink. This formula leaves a natural dewy finish that I prefer. It’s easy to use and never needs sharpening. I just draw some onto the apples of my cheeks and blend. The results are worth the extra money this blush costs. Highly recommend.

I really like this blush. My skin likes the texture, and the colour looks good and very similar to my own natural blushing shade. I had been using the Shiseido blushes but my skin is getting drier on the cheeks, and powder blushes don’t really work for me. They go on much too thick, and are hard to blend in so I end up with bright circles! The Clinique Chubby Sticks blush is a very sheer blush, easy to blend and smooth in, and my drier skin areas can cope with it very well. I have the Robust Rhubarb shade, which looks a little pink in the tube, but it is the peachiest one I can find and it actually looks very natural on me. I’m going to keep using this blush during the cooler weather, and go back to a powder format in the summer.

I have Rosy Poly Rosy & it’s my fave blush! Granted I don’t wear blush much tryna get more into it L0rd knows I own a few but I end up looking like a clown w most blush except this 1 isn’t too bad on the clown factor. It’s easily blended, stays put/wears well even thou I have extreme oily skin, the bronzer/highlighter chubby sticks & of course lip glosses are wonderful too. The original not-to-be-missed! Roly Rosy Roly is a light pink color not many sparklies sheer wash of color which I find on me is better than a powder formula. They are a little over $20 bucks so they are a little spendy but it looks like an ample supply of product in my guestimation. I’m a big Clinique fan. I don’t think this could be easily duped because the color is like so sheer like I just came in from the cold, flush of color. Totally worth $20 I mean its competitors like EL/UD/Nars/MAC are all similar priced for powder versions.

It looks like I’m the lone dissenter in that I like the blush Chubby Sticks. I have Robust Rhubarb which is a peachy shade that gives my NC30 Asian complexion a nice glow.
The formula is definitely sheer and I don’t find it greasy. (I’m normal combo/slight dry in winter and slightly oily in summer) Although it might be different if I were to wear this in the summer but I usually wear powder blushes in the hot months.
I apply a powder blush on top of the chubby stick for extra staying power, otherwise I can see it fading later in the day. I like the convenient packaging, especially as I don’t have to sharpen it. (I hate sharpening pencils)
The colour selection is limited, especially for darker skin tones. Overall, not a bad offering from Clinique.

I like the formula a lot…but I don’t love it. Cheek Pops last on my skin but these Chubby Sticks do not. I bough Robust Rhubarb and I swear every time I wear it, it gets pinker. Pink is not my shade (Rhubarb seemed “peacher” in fluorescent lighting). I gave it to my son’s girlfriend. I’ve been using Amp’d Up Apple, but it gets greasy-looking within a couple of hours (this is on top of Stay Matte foundation), and then it disappears. The cheek pops last longer, and Clinique’s powder blushes still last longest on me.

I’ve tried these twice now and while I love the chubby stick delivery system, I hate the texture of these. They go on greasy and then don’t dry to a powder but sink into my pores. And I have normal dry mature skin so this is the blush I should be wearing right? The colors are pretty but within an hour or two the color was gone! Very disappointed since I love the chubby stick lip products.
