This is a very nice coloured day cream (BB Cream) with a satiny very flattering and natural finish.
The colour selection might not be the greatest but the colours “adapt” to the skin and even lighter shades will look perfect on a darker skin tone.
The product contains organic and inorganic filters with a UVB protection (Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate/Octinoxate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate/ Octisalate and Titanium Dioxide) of 25 and a UVA protection (at least some) will be ensured by Zinc Oxide (that, in my opinion, is around 3-3.5% in concentration).
The product is an oil-in-water emulsion that will ensure “lighter” and a more moisturizing feel at application. It contains some humectants and moisturizing esters (oils) and not much else when it comes to actives.
It is fragrance-free, which is a big plus.
What would be an even better product is if the colour selection would be more nuanced and rather more yellowish undertones (like most MAC and Bobbi Brown coloured products) and the packaging should not let light in as in the case of this product. This will eventually oxidize the UV-filters before their time (and also not very nice looking giving the perception of that the material for the tube has just run out.)
