Breaking protocol here and giving good rating even though I’m returning! I’m a little too oily and wanted something lighter feeling and about half shade darker than #21. It applied the smoothest of all BB/tinted sunscreens I’ve tried but felt heavy over my MISSHA soft finish sun milk. I don’t want to have to powder over all of that. It wore off in a few hours due to oily ness not being controlled by powder. No irritation at all. During a colder, dryer season may have worked but that’s not what I needed. For ref I’m between NW 20 and 15 and this gave a pretty but too pale for summer look.
Added: applied better with BB than fingers for me

Compared to the Perfect Cover BB cream, this has a thinner and more watery consistency, making it easier to spread around and blend. Coverage is somewhat more sheer, but still does a good job of creating an even base despite needing to use concealer on problem areas.
Their lightest shade, #13, is also very pale like the Perfect Cover version – I don’t need to mix this with any white foundation to match my skin. It’s slightly lighter and more pinkish, fitting my skin well. It is less dewy too, but still quite shiny looking so powder and blotting is still a must. It feels lighter and less moisturising than the Perfect Cover one so I don’t reach for this when my skin’s throwing a wobbler, but when it’s behaving I prefer this for the lighter coverage and subsequently more natural appearance. I feel this lasts a bit better over the day too.
Availability of shade #13, as with the Perfect Cover BB cream, appears to be low compared to the rest of the shades, so the price is often a little higher than the other shades. I would say this is the palest BB cream I’ve ever tried, so for very pale people after a Korean BB cream this would be my recommendation. This is only if you are neutral or cool-toned, the pink undertone may make you look a little ill if you have very warm undertones.
Packaging wise, it’s a pump dispenser which is great. The bottle is actually made of opaque plastic and so it’s more difficult to tell when it’s running out – doesn’t get that flattened shape like squeezy bottles do and you cannot see through the bottle to check how much is left.
So there’s a couple of things I don’t love about this product but it’s quite nice overall, and for the very fairest among us this in #13 is one of the best BB cream colour matches out there.

My skin; very sensitive, acne-prone (hormonal), NC/NW 15, with melasma. I need full coverage and maximum sunscreen daily…still can’t stand many silicones, oils and much more….either I get a rash or cystic zits….or small pimples. There’s always something..
This BB cream really is amazing.
Texture is soft and creamy, almost full coverage. I have it in shade 21 – perfect for my extremely pale skin. Usually use it around my eyes, nose, mouth…. (I don’t use it all over the face , more on red/pigmented areas).
It really covers redness, a lot of my acne and gives a better start for the rest of the makeup.
Quite “healthy ” ingredients compared to many other brands.
Yet it hasn’t broken me out, but I haven’t worn it all over my face either… I trust it around my eyes, mouth, nose and some other areas…
A plus is the spf and the really good coverage. Quite ok price too.
Recommended. Will repurchase.

This is a long-wearing weightless matte medium coverage phenomenon. Wonderful product!

Perfect for my dry skin. I love this bb cream, I have extremely dry skin especially on my t-zone. My nose is always a challenge, most foundations looks horrible no matter how great my skincare or my diet. this bb cream is glowy yet medium coverage. I have in the shade 21, it has slightly grey undertone which suits my green undertone skin perfectly. Doesn’t break me out or emphasize my smile lines, overall this bb cream is great for daily use. I recommend this bb cream dry and normal skin. I wish they have a better shade range that’s why I gave them 4 not 5.

Decided to give this product a try after most of the stores here ran out of my HG Estee Lauder Double Wear Light Foundation and my friends recommended switching to BB Creams. Wanted to like this product, but unfortunately it just did not suit my skin.
I have oily skin so I ignored the greasy shine it gave me at first, thinking it’s just my skin issues. Eventually i noticed I was getting clogged pores and I started breaking out in whiteheads and pustules pretty much every other day, in areas that I don’t usually break out. On one of the days I even woke up to clusters of tiny bumps on my right temple, which to this day I’m still trying to clear. Bear in mind that I am a frequent foundation user and though I do get the occasional hormonal pimples here and there, I have never experienced such a reaction to any product!
I did research the ingredients on the COSDNA website and they are listed to be quite mild in terms of acne triggers or irritants, so I am not sure what it is that has triggered my breakout. It does have a long list of ingredients though, could be that it was too rich for my skin. If you are acne prone, I’d recommend to stay away from this product 🙁

Having tried Cho Bo Yang, I’d have to say this is my favourite of the two. I’m NC 20 now, just coming into spring and my skin is dry/dehydrated. I apply this with my fingers and it covers my fine lines, pores and hydrates my skin. It somehow manages to make it look soft.
Half a pump is enough for a natural looking base. I don’t use moisturiser under this, I don’t need to. I spot conceal areas that this hasn’t covered, finish my makeup and I’m good to go. I don’t powder either. I haven’t had any issues with it being grey or oxidising to orange. It’s just a beautiful satin finish on us dry girls. Oily girls might want to look into Cho Bo Yang. A tip, apply too much and you will look grey. 1/2 -3/4 pump is perfect. Hasn’t broken me out yet, after 2 weeks of use.

This has been my go-to foundation for years. I’ve dabbled a bit with other BB Creams, like Skin79, but I always come back to this foundation in shade 13. It’s so lovely to find a fair shade that isn’t overly yellow tone as Mac’s foundations tend to go.
It’s light and doesn’t feel heavy on my face. It applies wonderfully with a beauty blender. It’s not heavy coverage, but that’s not what I need, really.
Some have mentioned the smell. It doesn’t bother me, really. I have Missha’s Sun Milk as well, which is much more strongly scented, so I suppose after being exposed to that product the smell in this foundation doesn’t bother me.
I’ve worn this both with and without a primer. Without a primer, it stays on quite well. The primers I’ve used have been the BB Boomer that Missha makes, and E.L.F’s mineral primer. It works just as well with the E.L.F. primer as with Missha’s primer. And I expect any primer you have on hand would work as well.
Ultimately, I suggest this foundation for anyone who has been struggling with foundations either not being pale enough, or being too yellow.

After a shade fail, (21 being too light) I got 23, which is not that dark when you put it on. It looked way too dark when I initially swatched it, but blends beautifully over the bb boomer primer. I am nc20 for reference. I like the grey undertone because I lean olive. This is sooo much better than American bb knockoffs. My skin has improved with use, too!
