I really love this product. Not only is it cost efficient but it does a great job. I got the Nivea skin care line and use it regularly and only spent $45 with taxes (compared to some skin care lines that go above $100). If you need a cheaper line in order to maintain a skincare routine, I would recommend this cleanser :).
Is this helpful?
No. 🙂
Thanks
LOVE this mom- brand product!
WHAT DO YOU THINK IT IS?
No. 🙂
Great product, cleans a lot of skin, doesn’t really lose it…good for getting out of the sun if needed.
What if you need more masking products or if you want a bigger package? I buy it anyway, and it makes the transformation more natural!

This nivea cleanser contains: almond oil and also castor oil. It’s verry gentle for the skin. I got the sensitive skin one. It cleans your skin softly and leaves your skin verry smooth and soft. Love it!

I am confused by this cleanser. The name says gentle, the ingredients look gentle, but the burning redness it immediately caused on my face was anything but gentle. I’m still not sure why I had this reaction, but people with sensitive skin might want to proceed with caution.

This made my skin sting like hell and left it red and blotchy, it ain’t gentle.

I would maybe buy this cleanser again as a more reasonably priced, inexpensive alternative to other cleansers.
I am 35, highly clog prone, acne prone, combination skin with all of the concerns acne brings to address – pigmentation, scarring, and skin that can run towards dry through use of tret (0.1% 3-4 times a week). My HG cleanser for the past four years has been the FAB creamy cleanser, which is gentle, has never stung, burned, or left my face dry and tight, but works well as a second cleanse year round and has never left me wanting. It is fairly pricey, however, and in my search for an alternative I tried several drugstore cleansers and a few high end to see if anything helps with my acne. Cerave clogged me so badly within a week I tried to use the cleanser as a shaving cream on my legs. I was left with clogged hair shafts all over my legs and thighs, so to the trash that went. LRP was filmy and did nothing beneficial. Neutrogena ultra gentle stung and burned. Some higher end cleansers just didn’t cut it, from Kate Somerville to Murad. Drunk Elephant Bestee was the best of the bunch but even more expensive than what I had with FAB.
I recently picked up this foaming cleanser and… I am happy with it, at least for night time use in taking off tenacious sunscreen and minimal makeup. It is gentle enough to use, a light, airy, creamy foam that cleanses well but doesn’t dry me out too much. It doesn’t sting no matter how tender tret leaves my skin. It has no apparent added fragrance but smells almost exactly like DE Bestee does (likely due to similar ingredients used, though Bestee is a gel). It is not a replacement for FAB but a nice alternative for half the price, though drugstore prices in Canada are getting to be stupidly expensive. I paid about $15 for this at Walmart, where FAB is $30+ at Sephora. I see this lasting 4-6 months with daily use at night time, and am glad that I have something that is reliable to use for the upcoming summer months.
In all, I would stay away if you have very dry skin, but if you tend more towards combination skin, and can’t justify high end prices for a cleanser, this is a good product to try. I hope you find the best skincare for your routines!

I have sensitive, dry-to-very dry, acne prone skin. I also suffer with seborrheic dermatitis as well. I am prescribed topical medication for my fave which does include generic Retin A 0.1 Cream. Now, i bought this thinking that it would be better than all of the other Cetaphil facial cleansers that I’ve tried and that it would be compatible with my very sensitive skin as well. First off, this cleanser started to further dry out the skin on my fave with repeated usage and it if you are on Retin A like I am, this cleanser will be a bit irritating to your face, so I would avoid it. Oh, and I did find this cleanser to be a bit irritating to my eye area as well.
It does have a mild chemical scent to it, and it rinses completely off without leaving any residue. Now, when I do,wear makeup. I use a separate makeup remover to take it off at night, as I do not reply upon my facial cleanser only to remove all of my makeup off, because facial cleansers just aren’t 100% equipped to do such.
I actually do find this cleanser to be on he harsh side, which is why, I definitely won’t be buying it again. If you happen to have combo, oily or very oily skin and your skin isn’t sensitive at all, then maybe you actually may end up liking this stuff, but outside of they, I’d recommend staying away from this cleanser if you have sensitive and/or very dry, dry, or even normal skin.
I have no idea why the Cetaphil line is recommend so highly by dermatologists. As, the cleansers aren’t very well formulated and their moisturizers do nothing but leave ones skin greasy, and do happen to be pore-clogging as well. At this point, I’m officially done with Cetaphil, as well as Cerave too, which is another popular dermatologist recommended line as well. Cerave’s cleansers aren’t all that gentle at all, and their moisturizers are pore-clogging as well.

I purchased this to be my morning cleanser. As packaging states, this has a light airy lather and is fragrance free. I used two pumps for my face. It cleans my face without irritation. I have used this in the evenings and was surprised at how effective it was at removing makeup. Contains vitamin B5 and vitamin E as as skin conditioners.

This cleanser confuses me. With my combo-oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin, I thought this would be a suitable and cheaper option of my holy grail of La Roche Posay Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser. As far as I can tell, they are both soap-free, sulfate-free, fragrance-free, and dye-free. This cleanser comes out as a foam and one pump is adequate to clean a bare face in my experience. Currently my routine is the following: In the morning I wash my face with the Sulfacleanse, then use Drunk Elephant Vitamin C serum and Trader Joe’s hyaluronic serum, and use Bare Republic mineral sunscreen for the face. In the evening, I wash with La Roche Posay Toleriane Foaming Purifying cleanser, then apply the generic The first time I used this cleanser, I used a makeup remover Albolene to remove some light makeup and sunscreen first, then I followed up with this cleanser. It cleanse my face very well. So I thought I had a winner. The second time I used it, I used it in the morning instead of the Sulfacleanse, and within two minutes my face was assaulted by this burning sensation. I rinsed it off immediately and my face felt raw for about an hour. I applied a madecassoside containing balm and it soothe my skin right away. The third time I used this cleanser, I experienced the same reaction. It pretty much sealed the deal for me that this cleanser was not made for my skin. The ingredients looked harmless, even beneficial. But I suspect that the pH might be too high for my reactive skin. I will be returning this cleanser to Ulta. I refuse to continue to use a product that stings my face and with my acne finally healing, I would hate to undo my progress. I would recommend this cleanser to those who are looking for a cleanser that doesn’t contain sulfates, dyes, parabens, fragrances, or dye and has had a bad reaction to CeraVe, or my beloved La Roche-Posay Toleriane Foaming Purifying cleanser. If you have had a negative reaction to any coconut oil derivative, I would avoid it entirely. Same if you react negatively to glycerin and Vitamin E.
Here are the ingredients to this cleanser: Water, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Coco-Glucoside, Betaine, Glycerin, Panthenol (Vitamin B5), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Sodium Benzoate, Polysorbate 20, Polyquaternium-10, Phenoxyethanol, Citric Acid
I found this at Ulta, but check Walmart and Target also for cheaper price.

I wanted this cleanser to work for me so badly but after 3 days 2x daily I knew we were not going to be friends. I started breaking out–rosacea flare–and it caused itching. But during the honeymoon period I loved the foam and all natural smell, the way it was so easy to dispense, how cleanly it rinsed. It did not remove all my makeup but I use a precleanse however I was still finding makeup at my hairline. It also did not make my n/d face noticeably drier. To all those who can use this I am jealous.

I LOVE this cleanser. It’s super gentle with all the essential good skin ingredients. The cleanser says it’s good for makeup removal but I find that my eye makeup does not come off easily with this. I typically remove my eye makeup first and then use this to clean my skin and eye area. After washing my skin feels clean, soft anand not dried out.

Totally in love with this cleanser. I swore off pump foaming cleansers years ago after too many bad experiences with them stripping my skin and leaving it feeling raw and irritated. I was recommended this cleanser at Mecca after the Ren one I wanted was out of stock, and I’m so glad she talked me into it. It comes out like a foam, but feels so creamy on my skin. I use this as my only cleanse in the AM and my second cleanse following a cleansing balm (Clinique) in the evening so I can’t vouch for it’s makeup removing properties. This cleanser leaves my skin feeling super clean, hydrated and it looks glowing after I use it. Will definitely repurchase!

This cleanser was not worth my money.
Gave me rash and made my skin super dry.
I have acne prone and sensitive skin, and this cleanser was making my skin worse.
Definitely not worth it!

Genius cleanser for those of us with sensitive skin. It cleanses thoroughly without drying the skin.
In terms of price, I do not think it is over-priced. Eve Lom, some Darpin cleansers, and Tracie Martyn are over-priced (for no good reason). This is more expensive than the drugstore brands, but moderate when compared with specialty store brands. It is so good that the price is irrelevant to me.

Genius. It washes my skin thoroughly without irritating it and actually making it feel more moisturised. I think this is about to become the replacement for my beloved Rosaliac, which contains a bit of alcohol.

This is my go to cleanser when I’m not removing makeup. It is a super light foam that cleans without drying. Too light to use with a clairsonic. I use multiple cleansers on my combo skin and this is my favorite for when my skin is on the dry side. I took off a packaging point because it has a removable plastic cap over the pump that always seems to get dropped on the floor. It’s not the most expensive cleanser you can buy, but is one of those luxury items I haven’t been able to duplicate with a drugstore brand. Highly recommend for sensitive skin.

So, I have very sensitive skin. This made me break out all along my jaw line. I guess it’s too potent for my skin. It did remove my makeup and wasnt too harsh. I also loved the fact that it took away my blackheads and shrank my pores. If it didnt make my skin so irritated, id definately buy again

A great multi-purpose gentle cleanser. It is also effective in removing stubborn makeup. I believe that it is suitable for all skin types including those with sensitive and acne-prone skin. I have found that this product is one of the best cleansers I have come across which claims to “effectively remove makeup”.
A 200ml bottle costs $39.95 AUD which is quite expensive. However, I would repurchase simply due to the fact that it works better than other cleansers. By this I mean, high-end cosmetic brands such as Chanel, Eve Lom, and Lancome.

This is a wonderfully gentle cleanser which doesn’t strip your face of moisture after you wash. I have cystic acne from using BE mineral foundation… I didn’t know that BE was the cause and kept using it until my entire jawline was just filled with big cysts!! This cleanser was what helped me. Cystic acne take a very long time to heal. The inflammation doesn’t go down for weeks sometimes. This cleanser doesn’t worsen the acne but still cleanses the area and doesn’t irritate the skin. I also feel my skin looks really fresh once I use this.
