i thought i would write a review as i disagreed with some of those i’ve read. this cleanser is a thick gel (dispenses easily though) that lathers up nicely. it has a sweet, spicy scent that reminds me of incense. it rinses cleanly, doesn’t dry me out nor does it irritate my eyes. i have sensitive skin and so far this has been very gentle for me.

I’m surprised of the bad reviews because I love this cleanser. I used to use the dermatologica oil cleanser and needed to find an alternative because of the price ( almost $50) and I found this cleanser at ULTA for $10. I love it. I might try the ECLOS Cleansing Oil next.

This is the most drying liquid cleanser I’ve ever used. Washed my face with it and it felt very dry and taut. Says it’s made in the USA for Delicious Brands, but the label with its Swiss flag icon would make you think it’s some kind of European import.

This review is for Eclos Anti-Aging Facial Cleanser Skin Prep, which I received a deluxe sample of and had the misfortune of being stuck with using when I brought it with me on a trip out of town.
It is awful – and really, it’s just kind of appalling that a product this bad ends up on the market. The scent is revolting and smells of hospital disinfectant. It’s incredibly drying and does nothing to cleanse the skin. After being stuck using it for several days I had a disgusting buildup on my skin with no alternative to get it clean.
It does everything I DON’T want from a cleanser – smell bad, dry my skin out, cleanse ineffectively, and leave a residue behind. Save your money and buy something else – and if you got the same free sample that I did, throw it in the trash posthaste. Don’t even get me started on their facial scrub. I’m shuddering just thinking about that rubbish, which is even worse than the cleanser, if that’s even possible.

I was browsing through the facial care isle at SDM and the Eclos packaging attracted my eye. So I bought the sample kit for the heck of it and tried it out. I have to say that the facial cleanser, serum, and cream were quite harsh for something that was formulated to be gentle on “sensitive” skin types. As a result, my skin ruptured into small but painful cysts. Will not purchase again.
