This product has done wonders for my skin. When I was younger I had terrible acne. I had tried EVERY over the counter acne solution. My dermatologist had given me every prescription face wash, cream, and pill on the market. I even went a prescription medication called Accutane which is a very serious and potentially damaging drug that was supposed to be a permanent fix to my acne but it came back about 6 months after that treatment. Needless to say, I have struggled with acne for about half my life now at the ripe old age of 20 ????. But as puberty finished up for me, my acne got slightly more manageable. I would no longer be covered in zits but I would still have patches of bad breakouts and they bothered me! I had gone back to trying proactive and other over the counter washes with no avail. My brother (in med school to become a dermatologist) created multiple creams and scrubs for me that helped clear his acne but none of them worked for me. I would still have my normal breakouts which I’m so tired of dealing with after 10 years of it. This red clay face wash is the only thing that I have found that keeps my skin at bay. I received a small 1 oz sample size in a Sephora Play box about 9 months ago. That tiny sample lasted a month, and yes I used it everyday. I bought the full size and have been using for the last 8 months and I’m only about half done with the bottle. With just a pea size amount a scrub my whole face and neck. I have combination skin and it does just enough to remove excess oils buy never leaves my face dry. I just get a few occasions pimples now and very few blackheads. This product is my ride or die! I would be so miserable if I was still dealing with bad acne in my 20s!

This was in my Sephora play box. It’s a face wash, I dunno, I used it every morning and it was fine. Nothing super special, but nothing negative to say either. I do really like the feel of it on my face while I’m washing, feels like a nice little exfoliation.

I got this in my Sephora Play Box so I was excited to try this out. I felt like it gave my skin a deep clean without drying my skin. However, it contains rosemary oil which worries me long term. Its also a bit out of my price range. I will not repurchase.

I had such high hope for this at first but it just didn’t deliver. My skin is super dry and I have very bad acne and lots of congested pores that just don’t go away. I was suggested this cleanser from a friend and I went and got a full size and finished the entire bottle. It did absolutely nothing all it did was dry me out and my acne wouldn’t budge while new acne was forming and I was unusually oily too (I guess this was so drying that my skin started producing oil to comfort the dryness). I was upset because lots of my friends had success with this face was and I saw youtubers giving it great reviews I’m here with my horrible acne that doesn’t go away and new cysts just keep popping up. This just didn’t work for me.

I really love this cleanser. A little bit goes a long way. It lathers up really well. It doesn’t dry out my skin – I have combo/oily skin. It seems to calm the redness that I have around the nose and cheeks. It doesn’t have any kind of scent. Overall, a nice cleanser, although a bit pricey. The sample size lasted me about a month though, with daily use.

This product was okay for me. It does deep clean my pores but it’s a little too drying for my taste. My skin felt so tight after using this 2x/day that I switched to nightly but still wayyyy too tight (weather plays a big factor too but my other lotions don’t give me a tight feeling) I honestly hate this packaging. When I go to use this damn cleanser, the product would explode out of the tube and I’ll waste some of it. If this came in a pump I would continue using it but because it’s so watery – I can’t afford to waste an expensive product.

This is aesthetically a very pleasing product. It’s a red color and has a slight shimmer to it (no shimmer winds up on the skin). It also really smells like it contains clay- there’s a slightly minty-earthy clay smell to it. Again, quite pleasant. I think that this cleanser is noticeably thicker than others (again, I presume because of the clay), and I find it doesn’t lather quite as quickly as other cleansers. That’s not a big deal, though I generally prefer a thinner and more lathery cleanser for use with my Clarisonic. In any case. this cleanser leaves my skin clean and free of oil without parching or stripping. It’s pleasant to use and feels good on the skin. A minor quibble- the squeeze tube stands on its end, and when you open it product comes rushing out, which definitely leads to some waste.
Overall, I’m pleased with this cleanser and I would buy it again.

This is my holy grail skincare product. Nothing has helped my acne so much and I’ve tried literally hundreds of products. This is a must have in my bathroom cabinet.

Travel size lasted quite a while. Cleansed effectively and removed oil but I find drugstore works just as well for me right now.

I have combination to oily skin and no sensitivity. I prefer a gentle cleanser that rinses clean without that ‘squeaky’ clean feel. I gave this a try because FAB has a reputation for gentle but effective products.
It definitely cleaned my skin and didn’t cause any break-outs or problems. I tried with hands, a silicone scrubber and the Clarisonic. It foams well and works well with all three and rinses clean. I found that it left my skin feeling slightly drier than other gel/foaming cleansers have. Not painfully dry or a problem, but not nearly as gentle as I was expecting either. I wouldn’t suggest this to anyone with dry skin.
The product comes out as a bright red gel, which is certainly entertaining at first. But the tube is not appropriate packaging for something this runny. It made a mess in the cap and in my bathroom. They should put this in a pump dispenser. I also wasn’t jazzed about the scent. It doesn’t smell bad but it has a gentle version of what one might expect from a really strong organic cleaning product. I gave it a 3 because it is so meh… a good enough cleanser that I finished the tube but not a pleasant product to use and I have others that don’t leave my skin feeling as dry afterwards.
