This is my favorite shampoo, and have tried many. It’s much better than the L’Oréal low shampoos, which leave my hair oily and limp. This does not. It’s perfect for those who need to wash their hair often. It leaves my hair clean, soft and shiny. The brand often has deals, I wait for a sale and buy in bulk. The tube this comes in has an eco-cap, which reduces plastic. The only thing to make this better is if they were to sell a big bottle so I’d have to buy less plastic tubes. Other than that, I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Context: tropical & humid climate, urban, active lifestyle, thick, long hair — so I have to wash my hair everyday.
I got this shampoo because I was tired of my hair getting dandruff every other week, its ‘hard’ texture and just generally unruly (my hair is not totally straight but also not totally wavy). I also wanted to stay from the silicones, parabens, and other chemicals classified as ‘harmful’ as far as possible. Immediately after the first use, my hair was significantly softer and smoother. Since I was testing this out, I did not use conditioner as I read that some do not use conditioners, and also that I haven’t found a replacement conditioner. For four weeks I used this shampoo without conditioner and here are some observations: (i) overall, my hair has become smoother and softer than I remember; (ii) my hair hasn’t been frizzy, although the ends were still drier — problem solved with argan oil; (iii) less hair fall overall; (iv) the scent is slightly sweet, but not overwhelming (I find strong scents disgusting); and (v) my scalp itches if I don’t wash my hair every day.
I was quite surprised that my scalp started itching a week into using the shampoo, but that feeling goes away after every wash, particularly if I increase the quantity used. As it is quite hard to estimate the quantity, I vary the amount by how my scalp feels, but I do have to use a lot more than one large coin size — which depletes the 200ml really quickly. However, it got quite unpleasant in the third and fourth week because something kept triggering the itch (sweat, heat, build-up?) when it is warm (by tropical standards). At one point, I kept scratching my head at work, and realised that it had gotten quite bad, although there was very little dandruff. I also noticed that my scalp had started peeling. I tried the Lush New hot oil treatment and the itch went away for a few days, so I am trying the Lush New shampoo for the time being.
The verdict for this shampoo is inconclusive for me. It is highly likely that I will re-purchase to use if I have to wash my hair twice a day, and also if the Lush shampoo gets too dry. But I hope to find out soon if the itchy feeling was due to dryness, build-up, or that it is unsuitable for me.

Yes, this is an excellent SLS free shampoo – and so pleasant to use. It is like moisturizing cream, but does rinse off reasonably well, leaving my hair soft and clean. Sometimes I use a conditioner as well, not every time. The problem was only to figure out the sufficient amount … I have since learned that I may need a bit more than just a coin-size 🙂 But I would absolutely purchase this again.

yo this stuff is so so good for my dry hair. i shampoo my hair every day, so using this as opposed to ‘normal’ shampoo which is def more ”’harsh”’ is rly good for my hair.

I really adore this shampoo! I have waist length hair, very thick, course, and dry from dying my blonde hair lighter than it naturally is. So when I recieved a sample of this I just loved it and bought the full size. I love how this cleans my hair it leaves it so soft and silky. It doesn’t lather at all but it does thoroughly cleanse my hair. I also have noticed with repeated use my hair is feeling better and better. My hair is shiny, manageable, and my waves stay nice and my hair isn’t super frizzy, also the texture feels a lot better.
I do not wash my hair often because it’s so dry. But with this I can wash more than I used to and I get such good results. My hair is so much softer too. This comes in a good size tube and the price is super reasonable. I also like how clean it makes my scalp feel and on top of that I have no flakes or itchy scalp at all with this product. Plus I get psoriasis sometimes in my scalp and this really helps with that. I haven’t had a breakout since I started this product. I’m very happy with shampoo and will most definitely repurchase this. Recommended 🙂

My new HG shampoo!
My to-go mild shampoo was revlon uniq one coconut but it was just too heavy, I have not look back since I started using this one.
It’s milder and lighter, it does not foam, you have to work it, if you don’t massage it in your scalp you will be left with an oily mess but once you get used to it you won’t want anything else.
I use it twice and then use their nutri conditioner.
The good thing is without a doubt the price and the fact that they don’t use parabens, silicones or sulfates. But if you use other products with silicones this won’t wash them out and you end up with an ugly build up so be careful. My advise is to use this and only use products without silicones, parabens and sulfates. And don’t panic if you don’t see the results in the first uses, since it’s more natural your hair will take some time to get used to it and you have to get used to it too!
In the beginning I used way more product than now because it didn’t foam and I didn’t feel the hair as clean as if I used a regular shampoo.
My fine bleached hair was reborn with this, I swear by it. It’s just so shiny and smooth now!

I love my Uniq One cleansing cream but it’s just a bit too heavy and expensive! So when I heard that YR had come up with their version of a cleansing cream I was totally stoked! Bought two bottles in a two for one offer, which is extra good value on top of them being half the price of Uniq One. This a cleansing cream on the lighter side of the spectrum. Meant for people with normal hair as opposed to Uniq One which is more suited for dryer hair. I use this as I would use shampoo, wet hair, massage it in, rinse and do a second wash with a smaller amount and leave that in for a bit. My hair is clean and fresh, a bit tangly, but it’s not a tanglefest. There is a con to this cleansing cream, I have to alternate with a shampoo with sulfates as it doesn’t clean my hair well enough to use it exclusively. If I use it on it’s own it leaves greasy spots in my hair, while if I use it once a week it’s fine. So 5 points for the formula and how to use, but 3 points for the cleansing factor.
