My skin was perfectly fine before I used this, and I haven’t had dry skin in over a year, but as soon as I used this, my face started hurting and now it’s super dry. I had a mini size of this and squeezed out the tiniest amount – not even as much toothpaste I put on my toothbrush and tried to massage into my cheeks. Straight away, they started to BURN, not tingle. I immediately washed it off, and then for the rest of the day my face was just super itchy, and now it’s the day after and my cheeks are so dry and sensitive.
I think this product is just too harsh and strips your skin. Wish I’d read the reviews first. Would not recommend!

This is a rough product, its far too harsh, dried up my skin and I flaked for 3 days after. There are much better things out there, like my beloved Aesop Primrose mask and Juice Beauty and Arcona peels that do a far better job without sucking the life out of your face. I used the jar as body exfoliator. Pls sample before you buy. The grains are far too harsh, they scratch rather than exfoliate. Theres seaweed bits that are far too big and fall off your face as it dries.

I had a 10g tube of this and got 2 – 4 applicaitons out of it (some were just part face).
You only need a thin application, the tingle comes on quite fast. It has a strong fragrance and goes on easily but has little black bits in it that give teh mask an inconsistency.
My skin definately looked better after the mask, a little brighter, a little smoother. But nothing amazing. I find some of the other glamglow masks to give better results. For the price of this I’d want to see better results before I invest in a full size pot.

I had high hopes for this one because it’s a bit spendy. I love the aroma. It smells really nice. That’s about it for the good news. Whatever that chunky mess is…tea leaves, sea weed, skin of young virgins…it is disconcerting, to say the least. Whatever that is rolls up or glops on your face as you try to apply. Should I worry about my plumbing? If I use the entire jar, will it clog the drain? It dried almost too fast for a proper application. It does exfoliate, to be fair. It feels as if I’ve lost a few layers of skin.
I dunno… I paid for it, so I’ll use it. Unless it causes serious skin problems. But I won’t be running out to replace it.
Maybe I should have gotten the glitter one.

So drying. Don’t see the hype.

I bought the trial size of this treatment after falling in love with the super mud mask.
It really does seem that you either love this product, or abhor it’s very existence. I personally love the tingle, and this, along with the super mud mask, helps clear up any break outs I do have on the go. Along with minimizing possible scarring afterwards due to the exfoliation. The first time I used this I did notice some redness, but it seemed to be gone within a few hours. I used it as recently as yesterday afternoon, and was able to apply my moisturizer and makeup right afterwards. No redness. I use it once a week.
I could do without the little bits of whatever the hell that black stuff is, I think it should be ground up finer. It would make it that much easier to apply the mask, but it’s not a deal breaker.
It is on the pricey side, and if it was in a tube, I would be a lot happier..
Being 41, and having noticed certain changes in my skin, I am quite pleased with the results and I will more than likely continue purchasing this product. I Feel I do take decent care of my skin, if keeping this in my skin care routine helps, I’ll keep at it.

i picked up a sample size of this along with the powermud dual cleanse. First, I didn’t feel much of a tingle, maybe only that of a mild glycolic peel. Which is good, because at least I didn’t experience any burning.
But this mask is just overkill: the consistency was thick and lumpy, with all the granules and pieces of seaweed or tea leaves or whatever they are.
It didn’t apply evenly, it seemed to start drying as I was applying it, so I tried to add more of the mask, which only made it more”lumpy,” The giant bits of leaves just seem gimmicky and rolled off my fingers as I applied the mask.
This mask just seems like one big gimmick: from the “tinglexfoliate” to calling it Youthmud (there’s nothing anti aging about this mask compared to any of their other exfoliating masks).
I don’t think the exfoliated any better than the powermud, but as I said in the powered review, these offer nothing over the benefits of your basic clay mask, and as for exfoliation they offer nothing more than you’d get from a good facial scrub.
This is a great example of product over-pricing not because it’s high quality, but just because they can.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN!
Totally agree with a previous reviewer that this burns your face. Everyone asked me if I had sunburnt my face after I used this, and I looked at my face and I had red and swollen patches.
I’ve tried it a couple more times since and same result. This cannot be good and I would definitely avoid if you tend to have sensitive skin
