I have sun damage, (much reduced over the years), slight melasma left and just maturing skin. This peel is the best peel I have ever used. I does sting a little after application on my face, sides of neck and chest, then calms down and I put a mild non-acid moisturizer all over my face. The next day my face is firmer, brighter and looks younger and the results (tighting and brightening) do last the week. I am not making this up. I also use glycolic and radiance peels. I use this (7 days in between), then use glycolic and then 7 days later radiance peel and repeat sequence. I haven’t had a cystic outbreak or really any other breakouts since using this program. I purchase the sample size which lasts for 3 peels as I feel I get fresh product by doing so instead of a larger bottle sitting around. I use numerous other products from MUAC and am thrilled with I would say 95% of them. I just ordered some body products and some new Vitamin C serum and will review them after using for a while.

I love MUAC, especially their affordable trial sizes! I believe that if you have a good product and care about customer satisfaction, you should feel comfortable offering trial sizes so those of us on a budget can try higher priced items. I don’t have a problem paying more for something that really WORKS.
That being said, this is a product that really works. Of all the MUAC peels I’ve used, this one stings the least. But since you leave it on overnight, it has time to work its magic. I wake up to smoother skin, clearer skin tone and minor clogs that have completely vanished. Also, any healing zits that may be scaly are significantly smoother. I do have some minor flakiness for a day or two but light moisturizer takes care of that.
It’s a clear liquid that does have a faintly unpleasant scent which fades away. I apply light layers with a cotton round, focusing more on problem areas, until I feel a bit of stinging. Then I stop application and just go about my business. Simple!
Will be purchasing the larger size once my trial is used up. I use this once a week and another peel (Radiance or 8% BHA are my faves) once a week with several days in between. My skin is so much better since I’ve discovered this company’s peels – love them!

I am in my late 40s and have serious hyperpigmentation. As a result, I have tried a multitude of chemical peels, mechanical peels, bleaches, light tx…the works. If it claimed it worked, I tried it. About a year ago, I underwent a Melanage Peel, which significantly lightened most of my spots and patches, however on occasion, my pigmentation would darken up again, even with SPF and my vampire lifestyle of avoiding the sun. Long story short, I read the newest acid peel at MUAC, Phytic Acid, which is derived from rice. It claims to target melanin production and is used in melasma. I bought it on special, and it came with the prep solution and a moisturizer to follow. I applied it as directed, and felt no stinging on my face, but the next day….my face felt so soft and smooth….like velvet! When I see my face, I see my spots, so nothing miraculous happened there, but it felt so dramatically smoother than with any of my other peels and treatments in the past. You only use this once a week, and I am excited to see what happens with my pigmentation. I will for sure follow up, as I know this is a challenge many women and men face. I wrote this review mainly because this one had no down affects, but amazing face feel the next day, which says a lot for me.
