There are literally no reviews or swatches on these so I pretty much blind bought it. I had anticipated wearing it alone, however once I received the item I realized that wearing it alone requires special application. The product is super thin and liquid like. It goes on really wet but dries down. You really have to let these dry before doing anything.
For this reason when applying it alone, you will want to blend the product out with a finger. The nature of it means it can be streaky when applied with the brush alone and it does settle into lines. Wearing alone, it feels like a liquid lipstick. It’s pretty in different lighting but it basically can appear like a metallic liquid lipstick.
I applied this over gloss and it performs beautifully over gloss as well. Although I bought this to wear alone, I do think I prefer it over a gloss. You still should let it dry down. While long wearing, eventually it will start to separate and get patchy. It also lifts and isn’t exactly smudge proof.
I have Grapefruit which is pink with glitter and also Sunset which is a very beautiful golden shade but more on the sheer side.
It doesn’t have a scent.
