I have actually utilized this for 6 months and i have sensitive-combination skin. My T-zone obtains fueled oil up because of the exotic environment I live in. Great cleanser for those that desire something that is light as well as non-irritating. It doesn’t leave your skin sensation completely dry and squeaky clean. This item works well if you exercise double cleaning (Micellar water eliminator + cleanser). Often the micellar water contains components which could dry out your skin. To clean it off, this cleanser will leave you really feeling clean snd moisturized.
1. PROS – fantastic for Dry/combination/sensitive skin, value for money,
2. DISADVANTAGES – You angle utilize it just to cleanse your skin after a long day, it will not eliminate the substance 100%.

Functions well for my sensitive skin, particularly in winter months.
I massage it right into completely dry skin, allow it overcome for a few secs, and afterwards wash with warm water. It eliminates make-up consisting of mascara.

I use this after I remove my make-up with micellar water.
It’s fantastic. My skin feels hydrated after usage.
It doesn’t have much of a fragrance which I choose. Given that I make use of Retin A, I steer clear of from making use of soap on my face.

I’ve used this for 6 months and i have sensitive-combination skin. My T-zone gets oiled up because of the tropical climate I live in. Very good cleanser for those who want something that is mild and non-irritating. It doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry and squeaky clean. This product works well if you practice double cleansing (Micellar water remover + cleanser). Sometimes the micellar water contains ingredients which might dry out your skin. To wash it off, this cleanser will leave you feeling clean snd hydrated.
1. PROS – great for Dry/combination/sensitive skin, value for money,
2. CONS – You cant use it just to cleanse your skin after a long day, it will not remove the gunk 100%.

Works well for my sensitive skin, especially in winter.
I massage it into dry skin, let it work through for a few seconds, and then rinse with warm water. It removes makeup including mascara.

I use this after I remove my makeup with micellar water.
It’s great. My skin feels moisturized after use.
It doesn’t have much of a scent which I prefer. Since I use Retin A, I stay away from using soap on my face.

I was really disappointed with this facial cleanser. I have oily skin, but I wanted to find a cleanser that didn’t feel tight or drying after use. I picked up this hoping that it would feel hydrating without being greasy or thick. The more that I used this, the less that I liked it. It feels very greasy when being used on the skin and doesn’t feel “clean” when rinsed off. Overall, I would not recommend this to anyone who has oily skin or combination skin, cause it just doesn’t feel the best and there’s better cleansers out there. I hope that people who have dry skin enjoyed this more than I did!

Everybody recommends it for dry and sensitive skin but it is a huge disappointment. This cleanser doesn’t cleanse my skin well at all. It didn’t improve the texture of my skin at all and it gave me closed comedones.

I am blown away by this cleanser. It truly is hydrating and the only 2nd step cleanser that doesn’t irritate my skin. I definitely don’t think this could be used as a stand-alone cleanser to remove makeup/sunscreen. However it is perfect as a follow up after an oil cleanser.

I’m on my second one. I like a very gentle cleanser. A first cleanse (oil based) is ESSENTIAL if you wear makeup. There is nothing wrong with this. It doesn’t make your face feel tight. Even for younger oily types (I’m 40 with normal skin and I use actives), it’s important to get used to the fact that cleansers do not have to foam. I alternate bw this and Fresh soy cleanser. Either are great for morning – or evening as the second cleanse.

Someone in a FB group compared this to Glossier’s Milky cleanser, so I picked some up on my next trip to Aldi’s. Y’all, this is a great cleanser. It takes off ALL makeup. And although it is very moisturizing and gentle, it leaves my face clean. If I follow up with a toner or even a Stridex pad I see no dirt or makeup on the pad. That impresses me, especially since my face feels okay post wash, not tight or dry at all. The only drawback to this is that it is heavily scented. It’s not unpleasant, but its there.

This is my favorite makeup remover. I rub it on dry skin and wipe it away with a wet microfiber washcloth. It takes everything thing off including mascara. It doesn’t foam, doesn’t dry my skin or cause breakouts. The price is good too.

I’ve been buying this cleanser at Aldis for a few years now. It is a non foaming cleanser that’s very moisturizing to the skin so it’s perfect for dry skin, using it in the winter, also great for skin with excema. It’s cheap enough where I buy several bottles and sometimes I use it on my body in the winter in the bathtub. I really love this cleanser it’s my favorite.
unhappyCod6
It’s like washing with lotion. Doesn’t really do the trick of removing makeup. It’s too heavily scented!
cynicalDove5
Very mild, very gentle, with a thinner texture. I feel comfortable using it twice a day because it’s so gentle, although if I took off my makeup the night before, I just use it around my mouth/chin in the morning and rely on the water to rinse the rest of my face. I like to use it on my dry skin and just let it soak in for a few minutes before rinsing. It leaves my normally dry skin feel moisturized and fresh. The fragrance doesn’t bother me, but it is noticeable. I only took one lip away because I feel like I have to use a lot of it at the end of the day, but it’s so cheap that I wouldn’t care if I had to buy a new bottle every week.
Overall, a must have for my beauty routine!

I purchased this after having a bad reaction to african black soap. My skin was irritated, dry and breaking out. I normally have very oily skin. This cleanser saved my skin. It’s a milky consistency, does not lather. It cleanses so well yet is very calming to the skin, it feels clean and not stripped. It’s just as good as Cereve in my opinion and it’s only a few bucks at Aldi’s 🙂
wearyBuck2
Fabulous find for $3 bucks at Aldi – just as good as my old Cereve cleanser for like 1/3 of the price!

I’ll be upfront and state that I do not use this as directed. The instructions say to wet your face first but I much prefer this cleanser applied directly to my skin. I use about two pumps and gently massage it in. Then I wipe it off with a tissue. Next, I’ll apply one pump and I rinse that with water.
Please note that I do the double cleanse because I wear a very high SPF on a daily basis.

I used this one when my skin was pretty calm down and i didnt put a lot of products on my face, it was just some toner and some light lotion to keep my face moist during the day. I didnt put on sunscreen or my lotion has any sunscreen at all. This cleanser seems to clean my face ok but I still get pimple constantly, when I changed to other cleanser ( Shiseido simple cleanser – which is discontinued ) my face was clear again.

I’ve used this for a long time. When I started using prescription grade retin about 5 years ago now is when I first started using this product. Retin makes skin very sensitive at times, and I’ve always been able to count on this cleanser. It feels very nourishing. At times when my skin is more irritated in general, this cleanser can sting slightly. I’ve found that’s due to damage to my own skin barrier, which doesn’t have anything to do with this product and more likely related to over-application of my nightly retin- A cream.
For a deeper clean however, I don’t count on this product alone. If I wore make up such as mascara or foundation, I need something a bit strong to get my make up off. I typically pre-cleanse on those days with Basis sensitive skin bar.
CeraVe is a holy grail product that helps me keep my skin balanced! Its often the one thing I grab to use on my face when I head to the shower. On very light/no make up days it’s the only step I need to wash my face.
It is a little expensive but lasts a while. You get a generous amount of product for your money. I also like that the brand is developed by dermatologists. When I told my doctor I use CeraVe she seemed pleased and approved of my skincare choice.

I saw this while shopping. I have another hydrating cleanser, but its much more expensive. This was cheap and on a whim I thought I’d give it a shot. I like it. Its creamy and its so gentle. Love!
My cons are the fragrance, quick absorption and the packaging(that is why I took away the 5th lippie). The fragrance isn’t awful, but the product could certainly do without. While it didn’t irritate my skin, some people may be sensitive to it. The absorption is rather quick. As soon as it is applied it sinks in like a lotion! Like a previous reviewer questioned… I’m not really sure how I feel about that. Additionally, the packaging could be better. I hate when products don’t have a safety seal. I’ve seen this with makeup too…like come on.
All in all, for the price. I do like it. It’s gentle and it doesn’t dry my skin at all. I actually think its more moisturizing than my other hydrating cleanser (which is much more pricier). While it might remove light makeup, it probably wouldn’t remove a full face of makeup so it would suit one better to remove the makeup beforehand. My skin is very sensitive so I really have to watch for what works and what doesn’t work. So far I have had no irritation.

This is the best facial cleanser I have ever tried, and I tried quite a few. I buy it dirt cheap for a few bucks from ALDI stores.
I have a very sensitive skin and this cleanser never irritates my face, on contrary it calms it down. It has consistency of thick milk, I massage it into skin and then splash with water. It effectively removes even sunscreens with silicones like Neutrogena, without drying my skin or irritating it. I’ve never seen a cleanser so effective yet so gentle that leaves my skin so smooth and soft.

I love this product.
I have very sensitive skin so I’m constantly looking out for new products to try that work with me. I find this product feels extremely silky, it’s very light with a pleasant scent and doesn’t irritate my skin at all. Most other facial cleansers I’ve used have left me with red/irritated blotchy skin, but this doesn’t do that at all- and works wonders removing heavy, dark eye makeup. I use it twice a day, in the morning and before bed and my skin looks and feels great.
I know a lot of people are sensitive to scent, but this has a very clean and light fragrance which is only really noticeable when first applying it to the skin.
The only problem I have with this product is the packaging, which really is more my fault in the way I store it. I store my product upside down and find that the opening in the cap gets a bit gummy and sloppy with product, other than that, this stuff is awesome!
