This product gets a solid “meh”. For reference, I have dry, dehydrated skin with hormonal acne, flakiness on my forehead, and large pores/sebaceous filaments on my nose. I do not have particularly sensitive skin, but I do get redness easily.
This is not a bad product. I used it up completely and don’t have anything outright negative to say about it. It does exactly what it promises and hydrates the skin, but that’s literally it. It didn’t magically cure the flaky patches on my forehead or have other benefits. It has nice packaging that is easy to use and doesn’t have a weird texture or odor. But it is completely unremarkable and given the amount of product (I used this up in about 2 months, it’s a very small bottle) and price point, I’d expect at least something slightly special about this serum. I can get a similar effect from a simple hyaluronic acid serum that is 1/4 of the price. What I will say is I do not have sensitive skin, and I know that FAB is formulated to be especially gentle and sensitive-skin friendly. So, while this might not be worth the extra money for my skin, someone who is more sensitive may find the value in this formulation.
If you have regular skin, skip this product and just get another, cheaper hyaluronic acid serum- your wallet will thank you.

I grabbed this by accident when I needed the Ultra Repair moisturizer. It feels nice initially but then my skin feels tight if I don’t follow with a moisturizer. I don’t think I’ll repurchase because the Ultra Repair moisturizer seems to be all I need.

I really love this product. I went through a whole bottle and have repurchased it already. It is a lightweight gel consistency that sinks into skin completely leaving no discernible residue or stickiness. At first I wasn’t sure this was doing much aside from providing a little extra hydration, but after using a whole bottle I have noticed overall plumper, softer and smoother skin with visibly diminished fine lines. This was the only item I’ve added in over a year so I am certain it was due to this. It has excellent ingredients, efficient packaging and most importantly WORKS! My only gripe at all is the price; it was around $40 at Ulta and that rings a little steep in my book. I will continue to buy this however for the results.

I love this serum . This is my first face serum that I tried in order to protect my skin from drying this winter . Works wonder in combination with Murad Nutrient Charged water gel . My face is plumped , fuller all day . I am sorry I didn’t discover both brands before . A bit pricey , but so worth it .

I have repurchased this twice. It’s amazing. I wish it was a bit cheaper. in winter and at night I layer this under my ultra repair cream. In the morning so far this summer I have been using the serum alone under makeup and it is awesome. My skin in so happy.

I mostly used this as an antioxidant serum under other moisturiser/sunscreen. It is quite light as a moisturiser by itself and is not enough hydration for me. A clear gel, it does have a slightly tacky finish which was okay for me as I was layering under other items and it did not pill. In fact, my face feels a bit tight after this dries, which I don’t like that much. I think like another reviewer, I tended to use more of this product than other serums per application because of that tight feeling, so not really economical. It’s mid-range expensive, but as I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, I won’t spend the extra cash just to have this formulation. It did not cause me any irritation, but is a bit expensive for what it does.

I don’t believe it is a serum. But it is an oil-free, fragrance free, super-hydrating gel moisturiser that is calming to very sensitive skin (also gluten-free). It have very sensitive combo skin that gets very oily in summer. I find it provides 24 hour hydration, doesn’t irritate, doesn’t my clog pores or cause breakouts, doesn’t make my skin greasy or shiny. All while effectively smoothing away and controlling any flakey patches (overuse of drying products or when I have flakey nose from having a cold).
It leaves skin supple, plump, with a matte look texture. Plays well under other products, so dry skin could layer it under heavier creams. It has alot of sensitive skin friendly ingredients (glycerin=hydration, allantoin and colloidal oatmeal=healing, licorice=anti-redness) and not many bad ones.
Its not that cheap so here’s a bit more information to help you decide if its right for you. Or snag a sample 🙂
1. The texture is like an unscented hair gel, it feels very sticky on the skin all day, especially if you don’t wear makeup. I quickly got used to it, and that’s what makes it really give me ALL DAY 24 hour hydration, but it does feel sticky the whole time till you wash it off. Reminds me of Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask.
2. I need to use more each time than other moisturisers so I go through it faster than expected. If I try to use less it feels like a sticky-dry film and isn’t hydrating.
3. This is based on glycerine which I could buy for just a few dollars, add a teaspoon or three to a spray bottle of toner or water and get the same effect.
4. Because its glycerine based, in very hot dry (low humidity, like a desert) temperatures, this may actually have the opposite effect actually suck moisture from skin. While this is super hydrating for me 99% of the time, the one time I wore it in record high dry weather my skin felt dry. So I wouldn’t recommend this for Summer wear in Arizona unless you have good air conditioning. Something to do with the science of how glycerine works, if there is moisture in the air it draws it out onto skin. If it is very hot and no moisture in the air, glycerin draws moisture out of skin. dry hot weather and dry skin out (glycerin can be
5. I feel it is mis-named as its not a serum. Yes it is soothing/low irritant, but there isn’t any anti-aging ingredients in there. Except for one peptide (too low on the list) and chopped up collagen (doesn’t do anything when applied topically, must be ingested or created by the body from protein). If you want as a REALLY hydrating base that can be layered with other products and doesn’t clog pores, then I’d recommend.

I got this thinking it would be moisturizing and light on my skin without breaking me out. I am almost 46 with very sensitive and dry skin. First, if you are looking for this to moisturize and have dry skin – it won’t. If you want to add to your moisturizer just because it has antioxidants than this may help. When I put this on it felt heavy and drying at the same time. This may be good for someone young and very oily skin. It is expensive for not moisturizing and feeling dirty, so I ended up returning it.

I’ve been using this serum for a week and I can already see a reduction in the redness of my skin as well as a softer appearance. This serum is great if you have sensitive or acne prone skin. It’s a gel consistency which provides enough hydration to oily skin without being greasy. I use this morning and night. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t have a fragrance. It contains many anti oxidants and soothing ingredients so I don’t think it’s too expensive for what you get at $36 for 1 oz. This probably won’t work for those with dry skin but if you have skin similar to mine I highly recommend.

This is probably my most favorite beauty item that I own, and believe me, I own a lot. I use this in the morning, right after cleansing, and before bed again. This helps keep my skin hydrated and also infuses it with antioxidants and hyaluronic acid. This never leaves my skin feeling greasy at all, just leaves it feeling soft and smooth. I always repurchase this because I do not want to ever run out!
