My skin couldn’t handle this glycolic acid toner. Before this, I did not used an chemical exfoliating product for quite a while, because I was a bit done with it after using too much exfoliation products before and ended up with very sensitive dehydrated skin.
But now my skin was healed and normal again, so I wanted to try this product and I would begin with using it once a week to give my skin time to adjust.
After I bought it I saw that it contained alcohol and witch hazel, which can be irritating, but I also thought i would be fine because I was only going to use it once a week.
The first time I tried it on dry skin after PM cleansing it gave a very burning sensation, which was almost painfull. Some parts of my face turned red. The feeling dissapeared after a minute of five. I waited a while to let the product sink it before I applied my moisturiser, but when I did I could feel it reacting with the glycolic acid because the burning sensation came back for a few minutes.
The next day my skin felt more sensitive and fine lines looked more prominent due to a dehydrated feeling. I did not notice improvements in my skin texture/ the more even tone acids should give you.
I kept using it once a week for a while, and it was irritating, but not too much because it was just once a week. I think I should have stopped using it after the burning feeling on my face after the first use, but I did wanted to give it another chance. But then there was a moment I decided to use it twice in a week and I realized my skin can not handle this stuff. My skin felt so dry and sensitive.
So, I think this product is not suited for sensitive skin at all. In my case, using it just two times in a week ruined my skin for two weeks. I’m not going to use this again.

A 10% glycolic acid that feels much strong than other 10% glycolic acids that come in a moisturizer/lotion form. The liquid/toner-like feel is watery and yet powerful. I found it a bit much for my needs to be honest and I won’t repurchase it for this reason. It could also be the denatured alcohol in this that was drying on my already dry skin. I didn’t realize it was in there, for some reason I couldn’t get a read on all the ingredients before I purchased it (online). If you are in need of a relatively strong AHA, maybe those with oily or acne-prone skin, this is good value for the money.
