Yikes! This serum is HEAVILY fragranced. So much that I can still smell it after applying it. Aside from that, I couldn’t even see myself using this consistently as it wasn’t as hydrating as other serums I’ve used. I would definitely recommend trying a sample before getting this. Fragrance is not skincare. Note: this also comes in a “lighter” texture.

This serum wasn’t for me at all. Looks like a very thin fragranced white lotion and sinks right in but my sensitive combination skin became increasingly more red and irritated while using it.

I got a bottle of this as a gift and only started using it after I ran out of my last bottle of serum (Olay Regenerist Microsculpting). I’ve been using it once or twice a day for two weeks now. I like it but the Olay serum performed better on me. Bear in mind, the Olay serum is less than one sixth of the price of Guerlain’s. If you have money to blow, this is an okay product, it’s light but hydrating, feels good on the skin. The Olay serum hydrated better though, it’s a little thicker, I only needed to use it once a day and it kept my dry/combo skin smoother for much longer. I am so relieved I don’t ‘love’ this, I’d hate myself if I had to spend that much money on this, when there is a much, much cheaper product I like better. I’ll use it up and replace with my regular.

I really REALLY like this serum. I have the regular not the light one. Its the most emollient serum I have ever used. I have really dry and dehydrated skin .Most serums honesty are so lightweight and so silicony that they just leave a film on my skin ,This one feels more like a lotion rather than a serum . It spreads like butter on my skin and feels very nourishing and hydrating . Most serums I ve used are thin and have a powdery velvety silicony finish .This one is very thick and emollient its almost oily . I can see my self wearing this serum but its self during the summer when my skin isnt that dry. It has a rosy scent that I dont mind, If you dont have really dry skin you would be better off with the light version because this one is definitely not for everyone.Spreads very easily on the skin and you need to wait a few minutes before you apply your moisturizer because it doesn’t sink in immediately like most serums . It almost feels like a dry oil on the skin I have never used a serum with this consistency. Unfortunately its WAY WAY TOO EXPENSIVE in Europe where I live this costs 156euros for the 50ml pump bottle and 130 for the 30ml bottle. Im not an expert on the ingredients but I cant see anything remarkable in it. I cant say if its really good for your skin if it contains antioxidants and vitamins to actually nourish and protect the skin but for sure it does what it says ,It hydrates your skin.

Guerlain’s Super Aqua Serum is the holy grail serum for my dry skin. Upon application it is absorbed deep into my skin and drenches it with moisture, plumping it and giving it a radiant glow. I get compliments on my skin’s new found radiance from my co-workers, family, friends and clients.
I suffer from dry/dehydrated skin and have tried many serums in the past that did not make enough of a difference in my skin. I found many of them left a film on my skin that caused it to look oily (I have used serums from Lancome, Clarins, Shiseido, and Biotherm).
What I love about this product is the consistency of the serum (I use the Super Aqua Serum Light) it is like a lightweight lotion that smoothes over my skin perfectly. All I need is a single pump and my whole face is treated. The smell of the Super Aqua line is amazing, the company does not add fragrance to their products, so instead of perfume you are smelling the cactus flower extract. If a flower can bloom in the desert, what can its secret of holding hydration do for your skin? I now know and I love it!
The price tag on this product is large but I can’t live without it. I’m so cautious of the effects of age on my skin and I feel secure with my Super Aqua Serum Light. I do recommend that people with oily skin try a sample of it first. From my understanding the products work best on skin that is dry to very dry, and can be used to combat the first signs of aging.

This was used on me when I was getting a Dept store facial in Fraser’s Glasgow. I was surprised that the creme that felt so rich on my skin is actually a pretty light textured lotion, maybe similar to Oil of Olay but having used it now for a couple of weeks I am very happy with it. It does what a moisturiser is supposed to do in that my skin feels comfortable, make up stays on well on top and the tone and appearance has been made better, not worse by use of this product.
The packaging is also really good, a beautiful blue bottle with a pump action. Two pumps are fine to cover my skin and neck.
It is very expensive but utterly lovely, not sure if some of the more flowery benefits claimed by Guerlain are justified “pure, dynamic water” changed at a “cellular level” but I’ll continue to use it while I can afford it.

Too oliy for my combanition/oily skin, even in the winter. Maybe good for someone with dry skin.

I bought this over two years ago, used it a few times as part of my daily moisturising routine, and didn’t understand why I paid so much money for it (I own and love pretty much all the other products in the super-aqua range). So it sat in my drawer until two weeks ago, when I decided it was time to get my money’s worth. I thought to use it at night time because it doesn’t contain spf. Then my perception of the product totally changed. One squirt covers the entire face. Apply it to well cleansed and toned skin and in the morning you will wake up with fresh looking, plump and supple skin. Wow. It went from 1 lippie to 5 lippies in my book. Love and will definitely repurchase, I knew Guerlain wouldn’t let me down!

Normally, I try to stick to skincare products from more professional brands, because I find that they offer better products for the money you pay. But I recently got a sample of this serum when buying something else, and was shocked at how good it was at providing moisture for my parched skin. My skin is quite good; small pores, fine texture, and some slight sun damage, and I use this serum underneath a moisturiser wth sunscreen or underneath the LRP Anthelios Melt-In Creme with spf 50+, which works like a breeze. I also find that it helps my undereye area stay more moisturised, which is an added bonus, because I haven’t really found a hg eye cream (maybe I’m too picky?).
The price is horrendous, but I bought it with a 20% off coupon, and I will probably repurchase once I get desperate enough, although I find that the Nuxe Crème Fraîche hydrating serum (not exact name) also works excellently.
As for the packaging, I don’t like the design of Guerlain products in general, and this is no exception, but I can live with that, as long as the product delivers as good results as I’ve seen with the Super Aqua Serum. I’ll probably test further products from the range, also.

I am nearing my 30th birthday and not a wrinkle or distinct line in sight. I can’t owe it all to this product,as I use a combination of skincare products, but I do think it plays a huge part. My skin drinks this up and plumps up to the max. If you are in your mid twenties upwards but don’t want to dabble in potent anti-aging products, I would go for this. As skin at this age needs hydrating rather than anti-aging products.
