I have been using ‘Buffet’ as a serum for the last twelve months, prior to that I used the original Snowberry. I changed to the Intensive Serum because there was a local special, a good discount and I used a rewards voucher too. I think it’s better than ‘Buffet’ and the Snowberry eye cream is the best I’ve used too.
I stay out of the sun and always wear good sunglasses when I am driving. I’m a repeat buyer, so I must like it. Don’t want to rave but it beats Gatineau and Clinique serums that I was using prior. Thumbs up.

I’ve got this serum, together with light day cream and night rich cream as a Christmas present. Thank god I haven’t paid for this myself, as it would’ve been an absolute waste of money. This serum did absolutely nothing to my skin. I’ve used Shiseido Bio Performance Serum before, which was quite good, and then I used Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex, which was absolutely amazing, and did make a huge difference to my skin after even less than a week of application. Given that the Snowberry Serum was more expensive than the EL one, I expected it to be at least about as effective. Wrong. Would definitely not recommend to anyone.

I must admit that this serum really works. After using this product for a couple of days, skin becomes glowy as if I just had a facial. Sigh highly addictive since it is so expensive. I do not get botox however my ultimate goal is age prevention. I am approaching mid-thirties and keeping fine lines and wrinkles at bay is my top priority. This product contains serious anti-ageing ingredients such as peptides plus high concentration of sodium hyaluronate. Love using this product in conjunction with their anti-ageing night cream. Its only downside is timespan. When opened it has to be used for 3 months.

I’ve been using retinol products (never Retin A) at night as part of my routine for the past 3 years now. I loved what they did for my skin, but after my first winter of using retinol, I developed hyperpigmentation on my forehead despite wearing SS every day & staying out of the summer sun. Big fat sucky. Not so bad that I have to wear lots of foundation, but enough for me to be self conscious about the need to cover it with a concealer etc. However, I continued to use retinol (Poetry in Lotion or Avene Triacneal) for the other benefits it provided, as well as hoping it would help to less the hyperpigmentation. Of course, there is the resulting side effects – flakes in the wintertime, using a special cream cleanser, extra moisturiser etc. It becomes a domino effect.
Well, I ran out of a retinol about a month ago, and began to use this product exclusively at night (before I would use every other night or during the day.) At first, I didn’t notice any difference. But about 10 days into it, I began to notice that really, there wasn’t any difference, meaning I wasn’t suffering from that tell tale loss of “glow”, my pores weren’t clogging, I wasn’t breaking out… If anything, my skin is looking fresher. Seriously. No more special cleansers or extra moisturizers. I won’t tell you that this product got rid of every last line on my face or that I now look like one of the Naomis (Campbell & Watts) or the Kates (Bosworth & Blanchett.) But I will tell you that I am delighted to have found an (unfortunately achingly expensive) product that maintains & builds up what I had achieved without the resulting sun sensitivity.
I do wear an SS everyday (also Snowberry) but its such a relief not to have to stress over wearing one of the Euro high PPD ones on a daily basis, with all of the resulting anxiety around it – are the actives degrading on my skin? is my forehead acting like a mirror for commuters to check their teeth on? is the SS stable? do I need to reapply after a few hours? Ugh. For a day at the beach, for sure my euro LRP will be rearing its head. But I will be re-purchasing this serum for the summertime so I can continue having great skin without the price that needs to be paid with a retinol.
