Lightweight lovely texture, absorbs easily, very light fresh fragrance that doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, did not clog my pores or break me out. Dries shiny so I prefer to use at night, unless I’m going to wear makeup that day. Contains Liquorice and Niacinimide which are supposed to brighten and reduce redness and pigmentation. I’m not sure if there is enough of each to work. I used up one tube and I didn’t notice it improved my skin at all with brightness, pores or fine lines. I did love the pump packaging and it was pleasant to use, but I would not repurchase at full price.

I found this product okay. I did not find any difference from just using a moisturizer. It has a simple fresh smell but I did not like the after feeling as it had a slight stickiness to it, I also felt that I had an oil shine on my skin after use. I didn’t hate it but I won’t be buying this again.

This is a very lightweight serum a little goes a long way. Two pumps were enough for my face and neck, anything more and it left my skin too greasy.
Once dry it does leave a slightly tacky feeling on the skin. There is a fragrance, but it is light and fresh.
I felt like this product gave a healthy look to the skin underneath my foundation, however, after a few hours my makeup did begin to slide around. I ended up only using at night.
Overall I did not notice any improvement in my skin and it didn’t help with fine lines at all.
I also did not think it was very moisturizing and I did see an increase in small surface blemishes.
It didn’t seem to do more than a typical drugstore serum.

This serum is very thin so it spreads well and a little goes a long way. It has a very soft fresh fragrance. 2 – 3 pumps is enough to cover your face, I like to use about 5 and do my neck as well.
It is a bit shiny so I was hesitant to use it in the day but it turned out to be not too bad, depending on what i wore on top of it. I would definately stay away from a shiny moisturiser or BB CC cream or foundation with this.
No immediate results that impressed me but after a ocuple of weeks I noticed my skin was brighter and smoother and looked a tiny bit firmer. More even toned. So yes, it gave results. But I want to try some other serums so I might come back to this in the future. The pump pack was good and the pump didn’t break!! I seem to be having a bad run with pump packs lately. I like the gold top, it looks nice and luxurious and feminine not like something from the doctor.

Makes no visible difference, its quite runny, I ended using it as a mixing medium for DIY serum mix. Packaging is great, its not moisturising, no offensive fragrance, I just don’t see it do anything. I much prefer Hylamide SubQ Anti-age, which makes a visible difference. I feel this is a very cosmetic product, not for serious skincare seekers. Pls try before you buy or this brand has codes quite often.

Breaks me out terribly. Checked the ingredient list and it has niacinamide which always breaks me out. Going to return.

This stuff is amazing. It feel silky going on and has a light, fresh scent. My skin looks brighter and healthier. I ran out and didn’t use it for a month and when I started again I was shocked by the difference. Will never run out again!

PRODUCT RAVE.
I am quite miffed that Bare Escentuals (Bareminerals) has discontinued their old skincare line as their former Purifying Facial Cleanser was definite HG status for me. Since then, I have found a few really good replacements (REN Rosa Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser and the classic Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish, namely), and am skeptical about many parts of their new skincare range even still…
This product is the exception.
Now, this serum (technically serum/essence hybrid- more cushiony than a traditional serum, but perhaps a bit more fluid than a lot of the true “essence” products that have come out recently or have come to the beauty world abroad from Asia) is most often compared to the Biolucent serum from the old Bareminerals product line that I dearly wanted to try but never got around to before it was phased out, but I would still venture that if you liked that, you will love this,as many of the ingredients are similar if not the same. Just with more added in. I instantly see a glow in my skin, and a greater resiliency . I also feel my skin to be a bit plumper/firmer. Not so much in a retinoid (I am allergic to retinol) or a filler injection kind of way, but just in a “healthy skin kind of way” That said I feel more mature or more lined skins would still enjoy this product and regardless of skin type (oily/combination/dry etc) as this product sinks in well and adds a shot of hydration while boosting skin firmness and just overall “health” really. Vitality is a perfect word in my opinion to include in the product name.
The ginger in here helps with skin renewal and circulation. Licorice provides brightness and is one of my personal favorite ingredients for skincare for the glow it provides and its cooling effect (which I think could be especially good for those with acneic or inflamed/irritated skin), and the product is chock full of antioxidants too, which are good for everybody.
Serums and essences are very easily slotted into any existing skincare routine, so they will work with any tried and true and trusted products while still adding their deeply beneificial enhancements to the skin. This product I feel is so light and a pleasure to use and so refreshing in feel and in minty (licorice I guess) mixed with herbs (very light) smell (totally derived from ingredients used in the formula I believe for their skincare properties) that it has various good things for anyone. Try it for yourself as you could have any reaction (good or bad) and varying results from anything. Anyone could, but I personally love it and recommend and have already repurchased a back-up bottle.
