I like serums that deliver results to the point where I feel like I need this in my life. This serum was just meh for me. It’s an oil more than a serum, goes on smooth and I did not notice any cloying fragrance but it just felt any other average facial oil applied to my skin. It didn’t break me out, the glass container is nice, and I used the entire bottle without issue. However, I’m glad I’m done with this now and will not buy it again. Also, I only used it at night due to the oily feel it left on my skin.

This product has nice packaging and it is inexpensive, but those are the only nice things I can say about it. I have used a few different facial oils in the past, so I feel like I know what to expect by now. The oil has that typical natural oil smell (kind of grain-y, I guess) and it feels smooth to the touch. I tried this several times with a different combination of products that I know work well on my skin and don’t cause me any issues, so I can definitely say that this oil broke me out. It also never absorbed and just sat on top of my skin. Every other oil I’ve tried does eventually sink in, but this one just made me feel really greasy and gross. I don’t think it did wonders for the moisture or the look of my skin, but admittedly I didn’t use it long enough to see any long-term results. If you want an oil as a final step that would work as an occlusive then this product might be good for you, but if you want a gentle oil to add moisture to sensitive skin then steer clear.

Wow!! I loveeee this stuff! So I had been looking at buying this product for several years now. I read reviews online, did plenty of research about each individual oil and then one day I saw it for $10 at TJmaxx. I was excited and decided to finally give it a try!
To provide a little background information, my skin is oily/combination and lately I’ve been struggling with acne on my cheeks and jawline. Last month, after trying out a new vitamin with high levels of biotin, I had been getting cystic acne and still had some remaining marks left over.
So I washed my face and while my skin was still wet I dabbed some on my hand and dotted it all over my face along with a drop of my usual Rose hip seed oil. It feels really nice, not too oily and my skin immediately looks glowy and nourished. As a side note, a little bit goes on a long way! Don’t overdo it! The next day I woke up and most of my acne had dried up and my skin looked the best it has in…forever! Last night I applied it, again, on my wet face and woke up this morning to even clearer skin! I am so impressed! To think I was worried about breaking out…this may be the best thing that has happened to my face besides RHSO in a long time! Will definitely buy again and I only wish I had sooner! This is my new Holy Grail face product.

Update:
I’ve continued using Acure’s Seriously Glowing oil serum for the last couple of months twice daily. Once in the morning after a workout and once before bed. It sinks right into my skin and is the perfect primer for makeup! It helps that a single drop will work for my whole face especially during the day. At night, I use it more liberally. A few drops with a drop of Rosehip oil. It leaves my skin glowing. I could probably go without makeup most days now. It’s almost like applying a natural highlighter on the parts of your face you really want to add emphasis to.
Another thing I wanted to point out is that this is a blend of oils. Skin loving ingredients. However, if used sparingly and after wetting your face, you will notice it sinks into your skin. Leaving behind no oily residue behind. So, oily ladies, don’t let that scare you off! I, myself, am quite oily and this stuff actually helps my acne, makes my skin clearer and with this beautiful glow you can see even with makeup on. Your skin will LOVE this. Just go easy on it!
I already bought another bottle and I’m only halfway through this one! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! And between $10-20 dollars for a bottle that will last you probably 4-5 months, you can’t beat the price.

The name of the product is misleading. This is definitely an oil and not a serum. I was looking for an oil, and I read the ingredients, so this is why I bought it. But people could be disappointed because of this. But this is not why I don’t like it.
First of all, it is very strongly scented and I found the scent off putting. I think it is the lavender oil in it and it is quite overpowering. But my biggest problem with it is that it breaks me out. I get pimples and clogged pores. I used it for a week and stopped. And to be sure I waited a couple of weeks and tried again. But the same happened, after 2 days using it. So unfortunately this is not for me. (and probably not for people with acne prone skin)

I’ve noticed in the last couple years the texture of my skin has changed. I seem to be more dry and my pores have become more visible. I’ve dreaded the day this would happen . . . I refuse for my skin texture to have the look of an orange peel. NOT gonna happen for this girl.
Since I’ve noticed these changes, I’ve been on a mission trying every product possible to minimize the appearance of my pores. I’ve done glycolic peels, I use an alpha hydroxy cream at night, I’ve tried so many face primers and yet nothing has really helped with pore size. Then voilà!!!! I found the holy grail to minimizing pores and let me add, it’s natural too!!!!
First of all I am in love with this product!!!! Since using this product my pores have almost virtually disappeared. It has plumped fine lines, rehydrated my skin leaving it dewy and glowing. The texture of my skin is smooth, even with makeup on and I use a heavier foundation. I apply the serum at night before my moisturizer, then apply a small dab of aquaphor all over my face to seal the product in. I also use this as a primer before I apply my makeup.
