Absolutely love this. I have been using the fragrance free wrinkle repair cream for three months now but found that it was not moisturizing enough on its own. The retinol oil under that moisturizer is just perfect. It is incredibly moisturizing and like a drink of water for your skin. It adds a bit of glamour to my otherwise simple skincare routine.

I love this!!!!! I was so disappointed when they discontinued the Anti Wrinkle Deep Wrinkle Serum because I had used it religiously for a few years. None of their current range even got close to it. Then along comes the Retinol Oil. This is very similar in the way it looks and feels. It is extremely gentle on the skin and causes no irritation at all. The one drawback on this product is that the dropper doesn’t work very well and it is hard to get enough oil into the dropper.
The oil itself is clear and has the consistency of water. I apply five drops to my fingertips and this is plenty to cover the entire face. I have used it around the eyes without any side effects. I am 53 with excellent skin and I want to keep it that way. This makes my skin look smoother and a bit brighter. I use Cerave Eye Repair Cream around the eyes and the combination of the two products is amazing.
I paid around $25 Australian dollars for this and will continue to use it.

As with the other reviewer, I have to agree I am on the fence about this one: it is an oily oil and needs to dry for at least a couple of minutes after application. In general I love neutrogena and have been using their rapid tone moisturizer for several years. It has an spf of 30 and works as a daily moisturizer, with or without makeup. But this new oil is just not worth the price for me – not to mention the extra step. I have been using for about three weeks and probably will not buy it again. One oil I do love is Dr. haushka’s day oil; it doesn’t have retinol, but certainly seems to absorb better. Another good one is Drunk Elephant.
******Three week’s later***** I wanted to add that this really is a good product. It takes a while to see results, but I think it is helping the lines above my mouth recede. I use it in the day and follow with Neutro. rapid Tone repair moisturizer which has 30:spf

Neutrogena products are usually hit or miss with me, this the new Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil is somewhere in the middle for me. If you have dry skin and are looking to incorporate a retinol this is a nice way to expose the skin to retinol and also make sure it is hydrated at the same time. My skin didn’t have any issues with peeling or flaking with this. What I didn’t like was the heavy amount of fragrance this has, and it takes a while to dissipate. I also didn’t like that they included fragrance ahead of one of the only antioxidants they included (vitamin e). Other than retinol this doesn’t contain much else to benefit the skin. Neutrogena has better options than this. I do like the price point and if you aren’t sensitive to fragrance this might be a good option for you. I wouldn’t repurchase this though.
