This is a good one, so good that I’m tempted to say HG. In less than a month my skin has changed noticeably. I’ve never had a topical product work this well for me – I bought this for PIE/PIH that takes forever to fade. On my skin tone marks from pimples last for months, but with Melano CC they’ve faded significantly enough that even people I’m close to have noticed. I spot treat with it twice a day right now. My skin tone has already improved from using this on my whole face every couple of days, easing into it so I wouldn’t cause too much irritation. I am really glad that this doesn’t seem to break me out when so many other things seem to.
Update after 5 months – the best. When I stop using this my skin doesn’t look as good. Looking back at photos of how terrible my skin was before I started using this I can say with confidence that this product does work. This stuff makes me glow.

This product is legit incredible for controlling acne for my hormonal acne and oily skin.
Pros:
– Putting a small dab on a red pimple will actually diminish the size without having to pop it in just a couple of days. (I swear there was one time I also put it on a pimple with pus and it just went down in size instead of me having to pop it……. but if you do need to pop first, this rly helps with avoiding acne scarring!)
– UV protected packaging is excellent and the simple tube is really easy to just get a couple of drops for your whole face.
– Lasted me for almost 6-8 months, but I’m sure you could push it farther if you use less?
Cons:
– Sometimes expensive because I’m in Canada/export fees/not readily available lol
– Honestly, doesn’t make the biiiiggest difference in brightening as a vitamin c serum.. definitely would need to use another product to help it out I think.

WOW. Just wow. I’m very impressed with this Vitamin C essence. I’ve been using it 2 ways. During the morning after washing I put it on bare faced all over and then sunscreen. During the evening I use it as a spot treatment for hyper pigmentation and dealing with acne scars. Overall my complexion is a lot brighter and my face is more even toned. It has faded a lot of my acne scars quickly. The dispenser works great without risking oxidization and dispenses a drop at a time. Luckily it doesn’t seem to break me out. My skin is very sensitive so this is a major plus. And as for the inexpensive price, it’s definitely the icing on the cake.

The oily, serum-like feel of this product made me feel hesitant to use it as first, but it is effective at lightening spots from pimples. Due to the oiliness of Vitamin E and my sensitivities, I won’t be trying it as an all-over treatment for the face. For the price and gentleness, I would repurchase for dark spots left by bites or cuts on my legs, since it would take me a few years to use up on occasional pimples.

Cheap and it works! My scars used to look visible even with foundation on,now it doesn’t look as visible as it used to which is great.I don’t use it continuously on a daily basis as i’m afraid it may cause irritation, and this is only part of my night time skin care routine.

First of all, it’s a LAA type and this kind of packaging really help to slow down the oxidation. However, this product didn’t do it’s job. In fact, i dont even know why people are crazy about it. It’s just a so-so product like without it in my skincare routine, my skin still looks fine and sometimes it even looks better (??). The only thing that i love about it is the smell, it has the smell of lemon, which is really refreshing. About the texture, it like water with a little bit of oily feeling maybe because of the vitamin e in the ingredients.

This is a bit “meh” for me. I have used OST C20 before this, which definitely gave me an amazing vitamin C glow (but also irritated my skin a bit). This product does not irritate my skin . . . but it doesn’t give me the amazing vitamin C glow either. It absorbs well, the packaging is nice, it seems like it might be giving me a more uniform skin tone, but my search for my dream Vitamin C serum will continue. I will not repurchase.

I ordered this on Sept 18, 2017 (Amazon) and received it in 4 days. I’ve been using it almost everyday since, and lately (last few months) twice a day, without fail. I still have about 1/5th of the tube left and I just ordered some more. This is the first vitamin C serum I’ve tried that doesn’t break me out. I use it very generously… about 3 finger lengths on my face alone. It absorbs quickly and I apply my moisturizers right after. After the first month of use, I was surprised to see that the melasma beneath my eyes reduced in darkness by about 50%. I think it has lightened even more since then (not completely gone yet). The results and price make this a must in my daily routine. I have 2 tubes coming and I plan to use this more often on my neck, chest, and hands, too. EDITED to add: I have also been using Differin 2-3x per week, so this has likely also helped my pigmentation (not just this Vit C alone). However, using Differin alone in the past has not made such a dramatic change, so I really think the combo of the 2 is working well.

This was terrible for my skin. I wanted to use it for a while to try to fade my acne scars but only bought it a few days ago. I was using it as an all-over serum. The very first night I woke up to go to the bathroom and when I looked in the mirror my face was super red with very enlarged pores and looking overall dull, dehydrated, yet also oily. However, I pushed on for about 2-3 more nights to see if it would get better. NOPEEEEEE. I’m only 23 but after those few days I looked like a 40 year old that’s how badly my skin reacted to this. Finally, I woke up to 2 whiteheads which I never get and I was done. I will never use this again. I was stupid and bought 2 bottles of the matching toner at once. I will let my skin recover for a while before trying them out alone to see if my skin has the same terrible reaction.

This product is effective at lightening my acne scars over the course of several days however despite many people’s claims of it helping their acne, it clogged my skin! I tried introducing this product several times into my skin care routine however each time I would end up with bumps across my face. My skin does not do well with oils so while I am convinced that vitamin c can help even out skin tone from this product, I will search for a different medium to receive my ascorbic acid.
