My skin has been pretty sensitive since the weather turned colder and I did a little too much exfoliating so I stopped all actives and started using this product along with the Hylamide SubQ Skin. Together they have really calmed my skin and reduced the redness. I prefer these formulas to similar ones from The Ordinary (sister line also by Deciem). If you are experiencing a compromised skin barrier, try removing actives from your skin care routine for a while and use the SubQ and the Sensitive Fix AM and PM and you will see a difference.

I’ve officially switched from Darphin’s Intral Redness Serum to this product, and I don’t think I’ll be switching back.
For reference I have combo normal to dry skin, with an oily nose. I suffer from papulopustular rosacea on both cheeks that I self manage.
This is a lightweight fluid serum that applies and dries very quickly. I use this with the Azelaic Acid from The Ordinary and have found that with religious use every day (no skipping!) unless I directly do things that cause flare ups (be outside in full sun for extended periods) my skin will not have any pustules. I still have slight texture problems (bumps) but they never get out of control. In the winter my skin has been looking the best it has ever looked without taking drugs.
On a side note, if I just use the Azelaic acid without this, I find the texture of my skin feels a bit rougher. If I don’t use the acid, the bumps on my face are more pronounced. I think it’s definitely the combination of the two that work for me.

I decided to wait until I finished my bottle before writing a review. Overall, I’m neutral on this. It does moisturise my sensitive skin without irritation, but it doesn’t make a noticeable difference to my redness or sensitivity. It’s just like a standard humectant serum. I probably won’t re-purchase.

I am incredibly pleased to say that I ADORE this stuff. I’m actually on my 4th bottle right now (though, admittedly, it would be my 3rd if there hadn’t been an “incident” involving a glass bottle and my bathroom floor) and I’m not sure what I’d do without it! My skin is a perplexing thing so I can’t offer a detailed breakdown of exactly why this works for me, I just accept that it does. And when I say that it works I mean it WORKS. My sensitive, reactive skin is instantly calmer after using this; it feels soft and hydrated and looks miles better. However, I will note that the quality of the product seems to vary wildly based on where I’ve purchased it. I have no idea whether different batches sold in the UK are made in different locations, but I’ve found that the stuff in the frosted bottle is much kinder on my skin and has a lighter scent than that which comes in a clear bottle (which, before I returned it, made my eyes water and face flush).

I have sensitive skin and mild rosecea. This product made my face feel very heated shortly after applying, however it did not seem to make it flush which I expected with the heat. I tried layering it over top the subq anti aging as well as adding a couple drops to the subq and both ways I still felt heat. I did not notice any less redness in my cheeks and I don’t think it felt any more calming than any other lotion I’ve tried (Cerave in a tub actually made it feel better but is too heavy for my face) I tried it for only a few days but the heat sensation was too irritating. I did however try it on my upper arms which have some redness (but not bumpy) and it did seem to calm it down and I felt no heat. I’m not really sure how to rate this, I would not repurchase it but since I have it I’ll continue using it on my arms and see if it makes a difference when the bottle is done.

I initially tested this on half my face only during a time when my face was very red, sensitive and reactive due to allergies. While I didn’t see any miracles, it felt soothing on my skin, and didn’t cause any additional irritation at a time when my skin was reacting to almost everything else. Also a raw, red patch on the side with the Sensitivity Fix applied healed slightly faster than the side without.
I now use this mixed in with my Hylamide Anti Age SubQ- two drops morning and night. My skin has had a reduction in overall sensitivity, but I am not sure how much of that to attribute specifically to this product, since I have been doing several things to work towards healthier, calmer skin. Even so, it is pleasant to use, not expensive, and I feel that it is beneficial to my skin. I will be repurchasing.

So I’m having a lot of issues with my skin (acne rosacea) and cannot find a moisturizer that doesn’t irritate my skin. I just began using the Jan Marini Bioclear cream but it’s more of an acne treatment so I’m still in need of something extra. I found this serum after declaring the Hylamide Booster (tanner) as my HG so I figured why not try something else in this brand.
I’ve been using this serum/booster for about a week now and have no new pimples from it which is a miracle in itself but haven’t noticed a dramatic change in the redness yet. My skin does look less flaky in the eyebrow and nose area which is also nice so my makeup goes on smoother.
Will definitely repurchase.
