Just about the same as RomanXI, i have been using the clearasil acne treatment cream along with other products for 3 years and it has kept my skin clear for those years but as i bought a new tube recently and was using it on a growing pimple, my face went completely crazy! That growing pimple near my jawline got bigger, redder and very itchy. Then with each day i was putting that cream on my bump, my face started to get very dry and itchy. I then noticed i had sore itchy red bumps all over my face, but mostly on my cheeks, jawline, chin and around my lips. My face felt like it was on fire so i had to splash my face with water throughout the day just to relieve myself from the soreness. I was shocked because i’ve never had such a bad reaction to anything in my life and all of a sudden when i use a new tube of this cream my face had is awful reaction.
I Stopped using the cream for about a week and decided to make a sugar and honey scrub with a bit of lemon to help soothe and gently exfoliate my skin. Luckily this worked a treat to stop the flaming irritation i had. I then started using my brothers acne face wash he got from Thailand and now my face is near being clear again.
This cream has worked so well for me for the past few years and now i’m unsure if i still want it. This reaction could have been a one off. So maybe when i’m completely healed i might give it another test to see what happens…

This is going to be an extremely mixed review.
I have used clearasil ultra a few times before and it has always gotten rid of my spots and blemishes in a flash, and has been fine on my skin. I hadn’t used it for a few years until recently.
A few weeks ago I used it as normal and my skin started to burn although i had only had it on a few seconds, i quickly washed it off thinking that was strange my skin felt quite dry which was unusual. It wasn’t until the next day when i woke up my face was raw, swollen, my skin was damage, dry, cracked, and incredibly hot, this lasted about a week until my face started to heal, I can’t begin to tell you the agony my skin was in, once my skin started healing it peeled and flaked off, i couldn’t put any moisturizer on my skin since it was raw and exposed, so I couldn’t help the dryness of it in any way.
I got a CHEMICAL BURN from this face wash!
Clearasil, what on earth did you put into this facewash?
My skin is by no means sensitive, and I regularly use products so I know im not allergic to anything in this. The strength of this product is ridiculous, i never used it with any other product I had it on my face for maybe 30 seconds maximum, and it burnt through layers of my skin, there was a point I thought my skin wouldn’t return to normal.
Even now my skin is still healing, and there is a sheen on my skin, kinda like the sheen there is to a scar, so I think i’ve had superficially scarring from this face wash….bizarre.
Since, my skin hasn’t produced a single spot, or had any oily areas(i used to get some oil at sides of my nose)…strange.
If you use this, be careful!!

Rapid Action Gel Wash-
I bought this thinking wow it can make my skin clear in as little as 12 hours. Well it’s all lie. I tried this product and it didn’t work. It didn’t break me out or anything luckily but it literally didn’t do anything for me. My skin was the same the next morning. I used about a quarter of it and I never remember it being a good product. So I give it a 1/5 and a no to repurchasing. Perhaps ill try it out in the future but for now it’ll sit in my washroom on a shelf gathering dust.

This product is one of the best i’ve used. for me, it works better than other expensive brands like proactive. i guess its because proactive takes longer to work and requires you to use it everyday but with this, i only apply it when i need to and it works great. i would definitely buy this again .

Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Treatment Gel –
I really like this product. I had these two giant red volcanoes on my forehead, and everyone would point them out…I mean, who wouldn’t they were HUGE. I bought this and like it said, in four hours it shrunk a lot! Even the redness went down. It didn’t completely go down, but I don’t blame it, they were big pimples -.- Well, today one of them disappeared, and I’m still applying cream to the other volcanoWIRING APPLIED THIS TO LL THE LITTLE BUMPS ON MY FOREHEAD AND IM GETTING A MORE CLEAR FACE.I’m really happy with this! This is overall a good product, if you stick to it for awhile. When i first bought this, it got rid of most of my redness. Then like a week after, my face started to burn… REALLY badly. But i thought it just meant it was working, so i continued to use it. Don’t stop reading this review just yet though. So my face continued to burn all the same, so i asked my mom why it contiued burning so badly. She told me my skin was probably too sensitive for this to handle (like most other people) and that maybe i should just use it on and off. So thats what i did, I now use it 2 days in a row then the next day i just wash my face with plain water. And it WORKS! So i reccomend that the first week you use this just keep using it, then the next week just do what im doing. Hope this helps, enjoy!

This review is for the Acne Treatment Cream
This product has saved my skin! Although it’s recommended that you use this as a spot treatment only, I use this over my entire face (avoiding the lip and eye area) following the suggestion Dan Kern makes on acne.org.
Although 5% it quite a strong concentration of Benzoyl Peroxide, I simply couldn’t find anything else at my local supermarket. For the first week my skin didn’t show any vast improvements, and in the second week my skin was horribly dry and itchy, however my pimples were completely gone (except for tiny red marks left behind)! Not only that but my blackheads were also clearing and with the aid of some moisturiser with jojoba oil added, the dryness was easily counteracted (I find that Vitamin E oil works great for the particularly dry, flaky areas).
I’m now entering the third week of using this cream and as the almighty Dan Kern states, my skin has already begun to acclimatise to the BP and the dryness appears to be diminishing significantly.
Don’t turn your back on this product just yet!

It doesnt get rid of my acne but its better than most cleansers.
I dont get more breakouts, but I really wish it would get rid of my current acne.

This is a review for the overnight serum in this line. Its good for spot treatments, but as the label warns, it REALLY dries out your skin. I didnt think it would be that bad (mistake) so i put tons on. like every 30 mins, when the label clearly warns only 1-3 times a day. well i paid for my stupidity. now i have a small red-ish pimple with a gigantic crater of dry skin around it thats constantly peeling. Not fun! it got rid of the pimple ok though 🙂 so used right, a very good product haha!
