This medi-spa peel makes my skin brighter with a beautiful glow! The ingredients are stronger and even better than the extra strength peel, so I only use this peel once a week on Saturday night. I wash my face, then apply the pad to my face, neck, décolletage, and the back of my hands until it’s dry. I wait the full five minutes to apply step two (the firming peptide milk). I’m African-American with very sensitive skin so I don’t use any other treatment products the day prior and the day after using this peel since the ingredients are highly advanced. There is a slight medicinal scent to the peel, but it goes away immediately and the firming peptide milk doesn’t have any fragrance. I always apply sunscreen before going outside to protect the benefits of this product. I’m trying to get my skin so flawless that foundation will be optional and I’m getting there! I love the results of this medi-spa peel and I will continue to use it as part of my skincare routine.

This peel put an end to my battle with hormonal acne that I’d been dealing with off and on for over 3 years. I received a single use sample from my local Sephora and decided to give it a try since I’d tried the original Alpha Beta Daily Peel and liked it. OH MY GOD. First of all even though I have very resilient skin I found that the original peel pads could be a bit irritating upon application, especially with prolonged daily use. The Medi-Spa peel pads are made out of a softer material, and they don’t cause me any sensitivity.
The morning after I applied this, my breakouts were all gone or had been significantly reduced, and I swear my acne scar pigmentation had been reduced by almost 50%. Overnight. After just ONE use. Needless to say, I ran out and bought the full size that day. Now that my skin has cleared up so significantly I only use this once a week or so (and I cut the pads in half so instead of getting 16 applications I get 32). I no longer have to wear full coverage foundation and I’m fully confident going without makeup now.
I was worried I wouldn’t have enough of the second step (the Firming Peptide Milk) to last me 32 uses but that wasn’t an issue. I used up my last peel a few months ago, and while my skin is still looking great, the few breakouts that I have been dealing with have left a mark behind so I’ll be grabbing myself another box soon once I can afford to treat myself. My only issue with this product is that it’s SO expensive! At $132 Canadian it’s the priciest single skincare item I’ve ever bought but the results are worth it for me.

I really like this peel, although its supposedly a Medi SPa Peel (an exaggeration in my opinion), I don’t find it that strong, as I use acid peels regularly on myself and this is not even close. The pads used to be huge and saturated in product, after reading older reviews where people stated the pads were too big and they cut them in half and got twice the usage out of them (a good thing in my book as these are way overpriced) well thanks :(-cause now they are pretty small pads, still saturated but hard to handle as they are so small they consistently fall out of my hand while trying to exfoliate with them. I am talking about the ones in envelopes not the jar.
Anyway, I use them on nights that I’m too tired for a regular peel. I am sure if your new to peels, these will feel potent to you. They keep the pores clear and fade any hyper-pigmentation spots as well as sun damage—-over time. I buy them once in a while to keep on hand.
