I used this product for 2 days and I woke up with all these little bumps all over my face the worst part was my temples and forehead. I’ve used play before never had an issue. It like burned my face. I’d never buy this product again!!!!

This was gifted to me by a friend, since I’ve been using Olay Total Effects moisturizer for years. So when I started using this daily renewal cream, it didn’t really have a noticeable effect but it didn’t break me out either.
To be honest, I’m not that fussy with facial moisturizer, especially drugstore brands as the price and quality among competitors are almost in the same range. If I had gone days without it then my skin would get dry, but I use it everyday on my normal skin so it feels alright. I use a small amount after shower and I like its light feel. I would recommend this product to anyone who’s starting out and wants an all-around facial moisturizer.

I bought this because I’ve been using the Night Cream and Protective Renewal Lotion from this line for awhile, and wanted to try out the Daily Renewal Cream underneath since my skin can be flaky in areas. This has a soft, fluffy texture and does a great job of moisturizing and exfoliating without making my combination skin greasy. Coupled with the other products in this line, my skin is looking the best it ever has!

I’ve been using this product every day for several months. My skin is a bit sensitive and some creams break my face out. This one does not. It makes my face feel soft and moisturized, not oily. I generally apply it after a shower. The only thing is, being an ‘open pot’ package design.. I try to keep it clean and the lid closed.. ensure my hands are extra clean beforehand.

Likely the longest-used, most purchased cosmetic product for me ever! This simple little gem has been with me for over a decade of skin changes including breakouts, pregnancies and wrinkles. It never breaks me out, provides the perfect level of moisture and makes my skin clear and smooth. I can usually find it for around $10 CDN on sale, which is a steal. It is also paraben-free. It does have cetyl alcohol and fragrance, but never ever causes irritation or issues for me. The daytime lotion version in a bottle did break me out, however. I’ve tried very expensive anti-aging creams with disastrous breakout results. There are SO many gimmicks out there (eg a topical cream actually “sculpting” or “lifting” skin?) and very few ingredients have been found effective beyond retinol. So I use a prescription tube with this lovely little cream. Moisture, a little acid for smoothness, just right. Don’t discontinue this, Olay!

I bought this for the 2% Salicylic acid in it. My skin is too sensitive for this. If I use it too frequently my skin feels drier (dehydrated) and oversensitized, I would say it feels a bit burned? Not good. I would suggest to get instead Neutrogena Acne Defense Lotion as all over hydrating salicylic acid treatment. It helps keep skin clear and fastens the rate at which pimples come to a head and clear away without irritating or sensitizing the skin like this Olay renewal cream does. Right now I only use this cream as spot treatment. I give one lippie for the amount, another one because it does exfoliate, and thats it, At least for my SENSITIVE, acne-prone skin.

when I first started using this moisturizer I really liked it. My skin felt smoother and fresher looking. It is a little on the heavy side but it seemed ok on my oily skin. Fast forward to today….it’s been about a month and a half and I still like it but I noticed I seem to be breaking out more often. Not sure if it’s the cream but I can’t think of anything else that would be causing it.

After reading all the great reviews on here, I went out and got some of this Daily renewal cream, and my experience using it has been not good. 🙁 To be clear, the product I bought is called Olay Age Defying Classic Daily Renewal Cream, and comes in a little white tub with a black cap (I think there are a few slightly-different versions of this cream out there).
The first night I used this cream, I woke the next morning with really shiny, greasy skin. The next night I used it again, and woke up with a rash of little white pimples all over my face. 🙁 To be fair, I am lucky enough to have combo/acne-prone/sensitive skin, so it’s always a toss-up whether something will work for my face, but after just two days of using this, I’m too freaked out to try using it again. Bummer.

Olay Age Defying daily renewal cream is a good, general, run of the mill moisturizer. My 50 year old skin is very dry and it does keep it hydrated with no flakiness. That said, it does not get rid of age spots, wrinkles or whatever aging complaint you may have, other than dryness. It is thick and smells very nice. After using my new clarisonic that I stole from my teenage daughter, I slather this cream very liberally all over my face and neck and around my eyes. It’s supposed to be a “beta hydroxy complex” but since it’s in a white pot and gets opened to the elements twice a day, I doubt the beta hydroxy complex stays stable. All in all, I do like this as a daily moisturizer and it’s cheap. I get two pots of it at a time through amazon.com and I think I pay $13 for both with no shipping. I use a ton of it so it goes pretty fast. Do recommend.

Unfortunately, like the other ladies that had bad experiences with this product, I did as well. I broke out within two days of using this. I think it’s because it is scented… I have gotten so used to using unscented products that this probably irritated my skin.
