Am I the only one who thought all Strivectin moisturizers were Retinol based? Turns out they’re not, there is no Retinol in the ingredients list of this which was my first surprise. Nevertheless with all the good reviews it’s received and the fact that they have a travel size on their website I thought ‘why not’ and got myself a 0.25 oz tube for $15 – which is not bad for a trial run. On the subject of ingredients it’s a mixed bag. The actual number of ingredients is a list about as long as my arm, almost approaching ‘La Mer’ territory. Lots of silicones and yet also good stuff such as peptides and whatnot. Onto the application: it goes on pretty well, absorbs in around my eye area and doesn’t affect m/u application. No breakouts or millia either. I’ve been using for over a month and although I haven’t seen any results on fine lines, there is a very slight ‘lifted’ effect – probably down to the skin looking and feeling much more hydrated. It’s good, but not that much better than other eye treatments that cost way less. Truth be told I’ve yet to come across an eye cream that can help reverse eye area aging without containing Retinol in some form or the other. And if this had any retinol in it, it would probably be a whole different review!

When I squeezed the tube, out spirt water and a bit of white. It had separated. Strong chemical scent. Didn’t do much, pretty watery. Seemed like waste of money and effort.

I don’t understand the negative reviews of this product. I have been using it 2X a day for the past week+ and even in that short amount of time, I can see a huge visible difference in the texture and firmness of my eye area. It has literally taken off 5+ if not 10 years of age on me. I have the purple and white tube, not the pink and white one, and maybe this is a different/older formula? I am so impressed I bought a backup already on TJMaxx for $17 for 19 ml. In all honesty, I would pay 3X that amount or more because the results are that good.
It has minimized deeper wrinkles of the crows feet at the corner of my eyes, totally smoothed out the finer lines/wrinkles, and even lifted up somewhat the hoodiness (not a word) of my eye lids. I don’t see any visible changes in the eye orbit fat content – meaning, the fat I have lost does not seem to be coming back, but overall, my eyes looking younger, healthier and smoother. I can’t wait to see what continued use over weeks to months bring.
Like the previous reviewer, I have had my eye on strivectin products for years, but when they first came on the market, they were uber expensive and not something I felt I really needed at that time. Now they are more widely available and down to my budget range. This is truly one of those products I am going to start hoarding before they are all gone.
I had no sensitivities to it either. No redness, burning, watery eyes or milia so far (knock on wood).

I have been using this for a few weeks now. I started using this on my forehead wrinkles and my laugh lines and it is actually helping those, too! I am just super excited with how well this product is working for me. If you can’t find the purple tube, try Marshall’s or TJM. I got the last 2 my Marshall’s had the other night.

For over 20 years I’ve always wanted to try this expensive eye treatment because of all the advertisement surrounding the claims to improve the eye area. I’ve always had puffy eyes even in my youth, and now that I’m older I’m more aware of just how more tired I look on top of nature aging. When I saw this at Costco it came as 1 full size product + 2 travel, and it was on sale. Sadly I didn’t feel anything other than it was just an okay moisturizer, and that it could be irritating for some people though it didn’t bother my eyes enough to stop using. I really hoped that I would have some improvement, but it didn’t show any noticeable difference. It just seemed like a medium weight lotion that sat on my skin, and there was no firming appearance. If you have to much on it will ball up uneven. I’ve had better formulated eye creams for less. I’m semi disappointed but I guess it’s next. Another quest for the HG eye cream.

This made my eyes BURN. It does not moisturize either. It did not minimize crows feet at all. Even if I used a tiny bit, my eyes would get swollen and red. I will never stray from Dermadoctor Wrinkle Revenge from now on. If you are looking for a good eye cream, get that instead.

This is the first eye product that does not irritate my eyes. It actually improved the look of my eye area greatly and I do notice a difference when I don’t use this. I don’t use it at night, but in the morning after moisturizing is when I lightly pat it around my orbital bone. This eye cream has become a staple in my daily routine and I will repurchase when I run out.

This is the review for Strivectin intensive eye concentrate. I am very happy with it. In the first 2-3 days I was very carefull, trying not to apply it very close to the eyes, so I could avoid potential burning. But nothing irritating happened when I applied it all over the eye. My under eye area is very well hydrated, looks brighter and the lines are less visible. It behaves good under the foundation, it’s creamy and doesn’t have any scent. I can say this is the most satisfying eye cream I have used by now. It is pricey, but it is also 30ml-double size comparing to all other eye creams.

I tried this as a sample and liked it, so I bought the full size, but I have to say I’m disappointed. I’ve used eye creams that definitely make a difference (I love DermaDoctor Wrinkle Revenge) and the full size of this doesn’t appear to be making a difference at all. It can also be tough to put makeup over as the formula tends to ball up while I’m smoothing my undereye concealer over it. I definitely won’t be rebuying.

I agree with beth001. I had the same problem and I looked like I was literally punched in the face at times. This was only after a few uses!! Even had a pus like drainage seeping out of my eyes.
I returned the rest of the product and after the sales clerk saw that I looked like I belonged in a horror movie, she didn’t even blink twice before refunding my money.
Don’t make the same mistake the others and I have. Try something else like EMU oil or Rosehip. ZERO stars.

I bought a tube thinking that maybe I didn’t have to buy the priciest, most luxurious eye creams. Then I started having problems with irritated eyes and eyelids. Idiot me, I didn’t make the connection for weeks! I’ve been suffering from burning, swollen, red, puffy, painful eyes for weeks! Haven’t worn mascara in a month. Contemplating seeing a derm or my eye doctor. Then last night as I was about to apply this — it hit me! I’m tossing it out.
