I’ve purchased this two times already. I feel like it lessens lines and discoloration. I had a scar under my eye and it’s practically almost gone. Retinol is an awesome multi use product.

I have used this product for over nine years. One small tube will last me a year. This is the case where a little dab will do it for you.
I don’t use under my eyes are used to the side of each eye. I also use it on my upper lip. Again a dab of product,
After nine years, it makes a difference.

I bought this cream with high hopes! My under eye circles are brown. And getting worse with age. Even though I take good care of my skin, drink water, have a skin care routine. Guess they’re hereditary. Anyways, this cream was like $26.00 usd here in Puerto Rico. I applied it for two weeks and it gave me for starters the “purge”, yes I was getting cystic acne which I never had. That episode acne episode lasted for a month. When I saw the acne I immediately discontinued the use of the cream. I also noticed that my under eye area felt more sensitive and itched a bit, but I just dismissed it and continued using it. Even though the cystic acne was there, the under eye circles dissapeared in two weeks. And they returned with a vengeance! So I decided to give the cream another shot. Omg! The pain I felt was horrible, felt like my eyes where on fire the next day! And they were so puffy, I looked like I had been boxing. When I washed my face, the burning went away and the swelling started to go down. I’m guessing retinol allergy? Too bad I threw away the Walmart receipt, I regret buying this product. I will give it to my mom who based on her recommendations used it and got results.

My dark circles are hereditary and I know that just “moisturizing” them will not help. I needed a stronger product so I turned to this. I started using this product around 5 months ago. I know it’s been a long time but I just kept using it as it did not produce any side effects. Nothing was happening when I started using this (or I wasn’t paying enough attention). But when I recently looked at my dark circles I can see that they have lightened. I don’t know how to feel about this but I am honestly just so happy and grateful.
I read a few comments here and seems like it’s not working well with others. I had been using retinol on my skin for many years to treat acne so I be able to help you. Retinol is strong and less is more with this. I have finished just half of this cream until now and its been 5 months. Please only apply it at night as it’s retinol, and just dab the cream on your dark circles, crow’s feet and eyelid. Just a bit, not too much as it may not suit your skin (or maybe use the sensitive version). In the day time, I used kumkumandi oil which is a herbal oil from India (you can find it online). Can’t be 100% sure about which one worked but I like this combination and will be using this for a long time.
In terms of wrinkles, it’s not really doing much. But please bear in mind that I have just been sleeping for 4-6 hours everyday for the past 4-5 months.
This is on my HG list now. Thank you ROC!
P.S If you really want to get into face oils then PLEASE do! I highly recommend kumkumandi oil 🙂

I first started using this at the beginning of summer, for 1 month. Then I would have given it a five. After using this at night, I would awaken to well-rested eyes. The skin around my eyes appeared hydrated, brighter, and smoother. I stopped using all retinol products in the summer because I was spending so much time outside, and I mainly wanted to focus on sun protection.
So I’ve picked this back up in the winter, and those wonderful effects have eluded me this time. I replaced the eye cream with a new one since it had been such a long time, but I’m not seeing the same results as I first did. I’m disappointed and will probably try out a different eye cream next time.
Because I got such amazing results the first time round, I do think this is a product worth trying out.
Edit: this gave me a white head on my upper eye lid! Beware if you are acne prone! I think this may have given me milia as well :/

I had previously used a sample of a Philosophy retinol eye product, and it was good so I figured I’d try a cheaper one (I’m a bargain buyer). I had to make sure it didn’t have any ingredients I react to, which is always a possibility for everyone, but for me I know I have to watch out for glycols and some silicones.
I usually don’t purchase something with such a low overall review but I’m actually quite pleased with this. I got a good price, and though it’s small, I use just a tiny amount. I’ve had it for at least 5 months and still have a lot left. A lot of higher end brands are around the same size and obviously cost a lot more. Like the past two reviewers, I don’t expect miracles, but I see some improvements already. It does help with some puffiness, crows feet and circles. Nothing huge, but a little. And that’s what I expected. I just use it in the morning. I actually use vaseline at night for last reminants of makeup removal and nourishment. I also have other ‘eye’ creams but they’re just moisturizers and have no claims. Maybe they’re all the same (and nothing stops wrinkles) but I still use this every morning in case it helps somewhat, even minimally.
I haven’t had any irritation and I am pretty sensitive. Meanwhile, if I don’t put this on after cleansing my eyes feel really dry. I considered the Neutrogena one as well but more people mentioned wrinkles deepening and that worries me. I also have no packaging issues. I roll the metal up as I go to maximize product and keep it from cracking.
Idk if it matters, but I also use my ring fingers to apply this after dabbing, since they say those are the weakest and gentlest to rub in the product. I would buy this again, I’m happy with it.

Most retinol containing products prevent future wrinkles rather than disappearing the existing ones. Any other expectation would be unrealistic. I have used this eye cream for about a year now and this is the only eye cream that has worked for my super sensitive eyelids. I have used many other brands and all they did was irritating my eyes. This one goes smooth and has calming effect, my eyes are not heavy or puffy the morning after. I definitely recognize the positive effect on those lines on my outer corner.

First off, for all you people with unrealistic expectations– this product is not for you so stop reading. I am 26 years old with really dark circles and fine lines under my eyes. Although I have been blessed with relatively good skin otherwise, my under eye area tends to suffer. I didn’t really know what to do about it (other than cover with concealer) until about two weeks ago when I did some research on an affordable and effective retinol product. Yes people, after the FIRST day I notice my eyes were less sunken in and a little brighter! I’ve heard complaints that it stings some peoples eyes. My skin is sensitive and I did NOT experience this side effect. The formula is super thin and absorbs very quickly. Apply this AFTER you wash, moisturizer and apply and serums or acne treatments for best results. Enjoy!

I had high hopes for this. Sadly, I developed something that honestly looked like psoriasis around my eyes. I became extremely irritated. I gave it a break and then tried to apply a very fine amount and behold the itchy, flaky, white patches around my eyes returned even worse. If anyone else has these issues, I found that queen helene cocoa butter creme really helped to restore the moisture in the area and healed up the irritation.

I’ve been using this eye cream for about a month, and am very pleased with the results. Rather than having puffiness, my undereye area can tend to appear sunken in with darker areas in and below the inner corners of my eyes. (I’m also fair-skinned, so this can tend to give me the Wednesday Addams/Winona-Ryder-in-Beetlejuice look.) The cream seems to plump the area under the eyes, making me look more awake and healthier. I’ve noticed fewer wrinkles, as well. I apply it in the morning and at night, between cleaning and moisturizing and have experienced no problems with skin irritation or burning eyes. It’s a keeper!
