I’ve never had any success with any products from this line. This eye cream made my eyes look worse and they weren’t bad to start but suddenly puffiness are dark circles appeared. I finished the first sample but tossed the second. Not for me.

The only reason I tried this eye cream was because of the reviews on this site and boy did I want to love it but it turned out to be a nightmare. I have sensitive skin but honestly most products (e.g. Oil of Olay, L’occitane, Kiehl’s) I’ve used for my eyes do not result in any issues. This one however, did. I woke up with bumps (both flesh colored and red) all over the region where the eye cream had been applied and anywhere near it. So there were bumps near the corners of my eye, all around the ocular bone and even on my nose and my upper cheek. I only used the eye cream on one side of my face as I like to integrate new products to my skin slowly so I know for a fact it was this cream as it was the only new thing I tried and the allergic reaction only appeared under the eye where I applied the cream.
If you have sensitive, reactive or skin that is prone to allergies, I would not advise using this cream. I have had to use Rx steroid ointment to help with the allergic reaction in addition to taking antihistamines and I still am having issues. I suspect this severe reaction will take time to go away but in the interim, I’m warning others to be very careful.

This is my new HG eye cream! I was looking for a product with more natural ingredients, and though my old eye cream had some very good ingredients, most of them weren’t available to the public (it was Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream). I’m happy to say, as amazing as the Bobbi Brown cream was for me, this one is even better! My eye area is even softer and smoother when using this. I’m very happy to have found this 🙂 The packaging is much better than the Bobbi Brown cream, since this comes in a little pump bottle. It doesn’t get contaminated, plus you much easier to control how much comes out – very, very little is needed to cover the whole eye area, so it can last a long time (and it’s expensive, so that’s good!).
Update: I really, really notice an improvement to my eye area using this cream vs. Bobbi Brown, which I had been still using just to finish it up. I might sadly forgo the remainder of my Bobbi Brown now, since this one is so much better for me. The only bad thing about it being in an opaque pump will be when the product gets low and I can’t get the last bit out, I don’t think you can easily open it up. Oh well, the pump preserves the cream better, and maybe I’ll find a way to open it when it gets low. This is pricey, so I don’t want to waste any – with that said, I managed to get this bottle at a reduced price on eBay – many people are sending brand new (supposedly) products with expiration date listed.

As I’ve moved away from glycolic acid, retinol, and all the scientific breakthroughs and switched to more natural products, my skin has responded beautifully. This regenerating eye cream moisturizes all day long without being greasy. Most anti-aging eye creams aren’t worth buying because they leave me more dry, irritate, or do nothing, but this one is actually very good. I put a little dab on in the morning and my skin is still soft when I wash my face at night. I’ve never used an eye cream before that could do that. It comes in a small air pump canister, and you can control the amount that comes out so there’s no waste and it’s clean. Good stuff. I’m almost sad because I’ve been saving money by not buying eye creams, but this one is worth it.

Very good eye cream, moisturizes well and does not cause any allergy, as many other eye creams do. Still moisturized in the morning, love it, love this brand.
