I bought this on accident instead of the face serum (which I haven’t used), but ended up loving it!
So, when I noticed I bought the wrong LRP Vitamin C product, I just shrugged, because it was too late to return. Plus, if it’s gentle enough for my eyes, why not the whole face?
Cut to three days later, applying it everyday under my moisturizer/sunscreen. I notice my face is looking really bright and clear. In my head, I go through all the products I’d been using. Nothing new, except this! I was so pleasantly shocked! My mistake worked out! No irritation, no breakouts, not even any clogged pores! Just clear, brighter skin!
Needless to say, I’m very happy with this product. If it can have those results, I can’t imagine what the face serum (which has vitamin c higher on the ingredient list) can do!
One negative I will say, is the metal(?) tube is fragile. Towards the end of using the tube, I was trying to squeeze the product down, and it “tore” open in three places. So I made sure to use it everytime I washed my face, morning and night. Saw no other results using it at night, but still the great results I had been having.
I said I’d repurchase, but I plan on getting the right tube (facial serum) next time!
It’s a squeeze tube that has a very sanitary tip applicator and lid. Scent-less, white-ish yellow color. Spreads very easily. I can’t say much for its eye results, as I used it on the whole face, but my eyes were very nourished. Lasted over a month with face application, so can’t imagine how long it’d last needing so little for the eyes.
Highly recommend. A grade product!

I didn’t expect this eye cream to work but it actually does. I’m 29 and expression lines have started to form around my eyes. That’s my main concern regarding this area as I don’t have dryness or particularly prominent dark circles.
Active C Yeux is a white gel-cream with no scent in a metal tube. Absorbs instantly and is hydrating enough for me. After a month of use I can definitely say that my lines are less visible while laughing. Not anything on a miraculous level of course but does what it claims. Thumbs up from me!

I have South Asian dark circles made more pronounced by the fact that I stare at a screen almost all my waking hours. This cream does nothing, literally nothing. It just makes my eyes look more tired when I’m wearing it (although I only wear it at night) and it has given me a zit in the eye area although that disappeared pretty quickly. I tried the face version which was marginally better.
I’m tired of these French pharmacy brands that do nothing. La Roche, Avene, Vichy – nothing I have ever tried from them is any good. What I need is a cooling Vitamin C serum to be applied with a rolling action. Going to look at Body Shop.

Research indicates topical vitamin C products help promote collagen growth in aging skin. I generally like La Roche Posay sunscreens and decided to give this product a try. Active C for eyes is lightly moisturizing and makes the skin around my eyes look younger and healthier. My eyes are not irritated and my concealer goes on easier and smoother. The price is high for .5 ounce but I could easily spend twice as much in a department store and not get the same results. I will definitely repurchase.

Love it. I have been using this for years. Active C is moisturizing, and provides a slight lift. Wrinkles are kept in check. However, never noticed it brightening, and helps with puffiness slightly. I went away on a business trip and forgot it. My eyes started to sag and the lines were more pronounced. Just after one day, I tried to replace it, but just couldn’t find it readily available for purchase. I will never leave home without it…

If I could rate this as “the most terrible thing ever to have touched my eye area” I would. Just like the face cream (Active c for normal to combination skin) that I tried this sucks.
So, first of all the package is lame. I’d be willing to cope with that if the product weren’t so ridiculous. The consistency is very watery, seems to have no effect at all, doesn’t brighten the eye area skin, doesn’t even moisturises properly. But the worst, and beware cause I’m about to tell you something beyond imagination, it gave me a hudge pimple in my eye contour. Just like those you get on your chin or forehead in puberty. I’m freakin 27 and never ever did I get a pimple in my eye contour!!!! It’s so big and nasty, and is here for more than 2 weeks… Also have a big pimple on my chin due to the active c face cream that is here for me than 3 weeks and other one close to my ear… That’s right…. On my temple…. And lots and lots of blacked heads and large, dirty pores… I am absolutely sure this happened due to this amazing line…. I had to throw them away and I’m pissed. I look like someone who does not care for her skin at all and never used a face wash or a toner in her life. Please stay away from this line. La Roche Posay?? NEVER AGAIN

It’s a trully anti-wrinkle dermatological treatment for eye area. i’ll buy it again.

I’ve read raves about this product and got it but tbh I’m not sure what the hype is about. I like it yes, it gets absorbed fast and seems to moisturize. I still don’t have any wrinkles in the eye area but was hoping it would get rid of the redness/darkness of the outer corners of my eyes and it did not.

I repurchased this product again and again, hoping to see some difference. I don’t have wrinkles around my eyes (yet), but some laugh lines underneath. I used it hoping that the vitamin C would slowly improve the firmness around my eyes. After over a year, no difference at all. I used it only once a day at night, during the day time I used a different cream which brightens my under eye area. Just a while ago I ran out of the cream and was using this active C cream day and night, after 2 weeks or so the skin around my eyes started to look a bit worse because the cream itself is not moisturizing enough. So I ran out to get my other cream and problem gone. Plus, since the cap is not air-tight, watch out for any color-changing indicating oxidation of the vitamin C to an inactive form.

This eye cream comes in a 15 ml, white and blue, sealed, metallic tube with a pointy cap and an expiry date. Very hygienic container, perfect for travel, and great at protecting the potency of its active ingredients. The cream is fragrance-free, has a light texture, spreads easily, does not leave an oily film on the skin and, in my case at least, absorbs quickly and is great under both makeup and sunscreen. The skin in my eye area is sensitive and although this cream contains Vitamin C (5%), I have had no bad reaction to it, no dryness, irritation, or itchiness, no burning sensation on the rim of my eyelids. Paula Begoun says that when it comes to applying vitamin C topically at levels ranging from 0.3-10%, the benefits may be numerous. If you are interested in knowing what they are, here is the address of the article:
The tube lasts a long time. I have been using mine for three months already and still have a good third of the contents left. When I am done, I will most likely not repurchase. Mostly because I love to try new things. But also because the positive results, if any, on my fine lines and dark circles, are too subtle for me to see them.
