Editing my review for this product. I would now give it 2 lipsticks. It gets points for lovely ingredients, having a sell by date printed on the bottom and an air tight, sun exposure protected bottle.
The reason im changing my review is because something has changed with this product. The last bottle I bought, the oil serum was very sticky, didnt absorb as well into my skin and left a really sticky residue on my face and hands. I also thought that it wasnt as hydrating, previous bottles I bought, the serum was a light oil that absorbed extremely well, plumped up my dehydration lines and left my skin supple and smooth. So disappointing as I really loved the original version of this product. Maybe I picked up a dud bottle? Im reluctant to repurchase this now.
Original review –
Im on my second bottle of this, the first bottle lasted me just over a month but I was slathering it all over my face twice a day as I really liked it, this time ill take a little bit more care and only use it at night as its not cheap at 21 euro and doesn’t sit well under makeup. I use the moogoo vitamin C serum during the day as it doesn’t ruin my makeup.
That said its great as a full face oil, it smooths, hydrates and evens skin tone which is great for me as ive dry rosacea prone skin.
Id recommend this to anyone, its a lovely product.

This serum is AMAZING value at RRP of $24.95 (in Australia). A little goes a long way so I use half a pump each application. This is packed full of top quality ingreadients including an oil soluble and stabilized form of Vitamin C anti-oxidant.
I apply this at night after cleansing as it is very moisturising and gives a dewy look to my skin. I find it very gentle and makes my skin more radiant, and eyes seem brighter each morning.
As other reviews have mentioned the serum ‘gravitates’ (I.e. gradually spreads across your skin) after application. The instructions on the package address this and say to apply it along the orbital bone as the product will naturally gravitate upwards – I imagine this has something to do with the fact MooGoo state they have tried to make the base of the eye serum mimic human sebum.

I love this product. Not as an eye serum (although I do use it around the eye area) but as an overall face oil. It has cleared up my face and makes it smooth and virtually pimple free (thanks jojoba oil acting like a sebum). Sometimes I’ll still get pimples trying new products or eating badly, but this helps keep my skin clear. So much comes out in a pump that I can easily spread it over the rest of my face. I’m surprised it doesn’t have more good reviews. It also has all the “proven that it works” ingredients, rather than the hyped and expensive packaging of other products. It’s a good quality product with ingredients that are known to work. Vitamin C, E and B5. I wouldn’t mind if it had some added vitamin A and other B vitamins. But overall I think it’s a perfect “starter” anti-aging product. Better for night time use, as it could make makeup slide during the day. But I’d wear it during the day to make my skin “glowy” if I wasn’t so obsessed with makeup. I think it’s good for the late teen to late 20s, and it’s a product that is totally staying in my kit. It’s one of the few products I’ve ever felt like repurchasing without any consumer dissonance. I’m in love with this! So much love! It’s really opened my eyes to natural skin care and it’s really changed the way I look/ am going to look after my skin. I want to do it naturally now.

I will never use this product again! I used this last night and today I have little red dots all underneath my eyes where I used this! They look like broken capillaries like from a hicki! I do not have sensitive skin and I have never had a problem with any eye serums before! 🙁 I’ve used lots and this has never happened before! I currently use Sircuit Skin Cosmeceuticals for all my products but I ran out of eye gel and they aren’t currently supplying in Australia so I decided to try moo goo’s eye product when I saw it in the chemist.. I REALLY regret trying this product! 🙁

My eyes are always dry! I’ve hated how whenever I buy an eye concealer, the sales lady would always say “Do you use an eye cream?, because your eyes are very dry!” There are some brands I have tried which are good like the Body Shop Nutriganics Eye cream or Korres Quercetin and Oak Eye Cream, but I like this better. This doesn’t cause me milia which I’ve gotten with some eye creams. I like this serum best because it hydrates perfectly at night and I know it’s chock full of wonderful vitamins without chemical fillers. I wouldn’t recommend this during the day as it’s too oily, but at night this is perfect and it absorbs as I sleep, and I wake up with refreshed eyes.

Heavens yes, I would buy this again. Rich in goodies, but light on the sensitive skin around my eyes. It is like a vitamin pill of hydration. Importantly, it does not fatigue the eye area with creamy heaviness. It is a gem of a product and so very easy to find in the shops for such a reasonable price. Good on the MOOGOO people for coming up with such great stuff.

This is called a serum, and it may function as one, but texturally, it feels and behaves like a light oil blend – which is what it is. It is unscented and comes in an airless pump. I’ve only used it for a few days so can’t comment on its effectiveness yet, but will say that it wouldn’t be suitable for use in the day, as being an oil blend, it does tend to migrate into the eyes making vision slightly blurry. I’ve been applying moisturiser straight over the top to try to ‘lock it in’ so it doesn’t migrate, but it still does. If this ends up having a great effect on the skin I’d repurchase, but if not, I’d probably be just as happy with something like rose hip oil if I wanted an oil for the face or eye area, or Kiehl’s avocado eye cream if I just wanted an eye cream, because the Kiehl’s doesn’t migrate one jot but is still intensely hydrating and unscented.
