I put on two coats yesterday before applying my usual nail polish which last a long time. In 24 hours, my nails are already chipped.
I have nail psoriasis and was hoping for at least some decent ridge filling, but it’s pretty marginal. This would work for very minor ridges (if you don’t mind redoing your nails in a day or so). It also helps with the discoloration from the NP, but not any more than a neutral colored peachy pink would.
I will use the rest of the bottle as it is kind of a pretty neutral on it’s own (if not a little streaky), but I won’t be repurchasing.

I really don’t think much to this as a ridge filling product or a manicure extender as I have experienced a lot of chipping ever since I started using this UNDER my polish. However, I actually wear this as a nail polish color in its own right rather than a treatment and it gives the perfect natural nail look without looking like I have painted my nails.
I love the semi matte finish which is why it looks so natural I think. When worn as a polish it lasts me for days on end without chipping (8 days so far for this application) and since I work with my hands chips are almost a daily occurrence with some other polishes. I do find that I need three coats to give good opacity with no streaks, but my nails are stained at the minute and I can still see the stains showing through just a little.
I will probably buy this again and keep a bottle aside for when I need to have a very conservative or natural nail look.

I bought this Essie product because I could not find any other brand that had a ridge filler at the CVS that I was shopping at. I am not a fan of Essie nail polish. My experience has been that it is not long lasting and it chips. I was pleasantly surprised. This Essie product definitely did exactly what it said it would. The price was ridiculous ($10) and the packaging excessive but, I really needed this type of product.
