I have used 3 bottles of this product. At first I was skeptical since it has alcohol as an ingredient, but it does not dry my skin out. My skin can become flaky and dry easily even though my pores tend to be clogged. I have not yet founda toner of this price range with lactic and mandelic acid.
The lactic and mandelic acid do a nice job at exfoliating my skin and keeping pores clean. It works very well together with the lactic acid serum of the same line.
I can recommend this for people who have clogged pores. For me it wasn’t drying at all but I can imagine others might have a different experience.

So there was a time when I didn`t feel like investing in toners anymore, felt like they really didn`t add a whole lot to my cleansing routine. Then I started noticing these little bumps, not exactly pimples, more like hives, that started showing up on my face in summer. My make up artist recommended investing in this toner, as he`s had the same problem and the Eucerin toner took care of it. He was right, and while I liked the way this toner worked, I can`t stand the fragrance. It`s not unpleasant exactly, but there`s something incredibly artificial about it that just puts me off. This is why I wouldn`t repurchase.

So I have on and off troubled skin, a lot of my problems include scar marks and such. I use this toner only at night. My routine goes: wash face, dry, apply toner, wait 30 seconds, mist on rose water, wait 30 seconds, and then put on moisturizer. I find this has been helping my skin NOT get too oily in the t-zone and dry to the point of flaky around my chin… but I will say its not for every one and I did have a little redness when I first started out with it.
I don’t think it is suitable if you have incredibly sensitive skin, it is very drying but I found that no new pimples formed after I use it and I imagine it loosens a lot of gunk on my face, I do not know to what extent this is true!
I personally would finish the bottle I have and maybe switch it up next time, but if you have fairly sturdy oily/combination skin, I say if you bought it, use it but be sure to slather on a generous portion of moisturizer afterwards!

All I want my toner to do is to remove any remaining makeup on my skin after cleansing. This product did the job. It smells very nice, I would repurchase it just for the scent. Another reviewer said hers was not perfumed, but my bottle lists “parfum” as one of the ingredients.
DermoPurifyer toner didn’t worsen my skin, nor did it noticeably improve it. It left my skin feeling slightly dry, but I use moisturiser after toning, so that wasn’t a problem. I enjoyed using this product and although it was a bit more expensive than I would like, the bottle lasted about six months, making it worth the expense.

This is my first Eucerin product and I don’t like it at all!! It smelt like I just poured alcohol all over my face (#2 in ingredient list wtf). I have combi skin with oily oily oily T-zone and this lime green concoction did absolutely nothing but made my face feel sticky!
I have generally clear skin with some blemishes here and there that does not really bother me, I am not super anal about that. I think blemishes make me look human haha. Ok but after a week of usage, I developed these annoying little red zits all over my cheeks. Thanks Eucerin!
So if you say my this toner isn’t suitable for my skin type let me juat tell you that I already gave this toner away to my lil sis, she has terrible acne prone skin so lets see how it works out for her.. You will be hearing from me soon.. I’ll be back!

THIS SUCKS!
Not kidding and I am furious. When I 1st got this along with the other eucerin dermo purifyer products, I was hoping to see a change in my skin.
It did well a for a few days but after a week or so, it made my skin break out like mad. Numerous tiny little red pimples pop up everywhere on my skin.
Seriously EUCERIN?? What are you thinking about when you create this product?!
This toner alone contains butylene glycol, It has a comedogenicity of level 1, not high but it will cause acne on some people! OMGGGG -facepalms-
I just can’t believe why all these bullshit skincare companies try to impress their buyers by stating “non comedogenic”, when in the 1st place, their product is comedogenic.
Acne prone people dont buy this, it will make you fking pissed.
I think Neutrogena’s products are alot better than this.

So basically i am Singaporean and i was recommended to this product by a friend cause i finished my facial course and did not want to go back as often as once every fortnight due to my hypersensitive and oily skin and it was cheap,costing about $100+/- each trip.
So i bought the toner,and its cream (now discontinued in SG), and it has worked amazingly well for me because it cleared up my white heads and for the bigger pimples it took about 2-3 days or so to completely clear up.
Though i have to save it wasn’t cheap,but affordable because it was about $20SGD for each, when compared to Kose is half its price.I am currently using the Kose Blemish Cleanser together with Simple’s moisturizer and Eucerin’s toner and cream products.
I highly recommend this if you have oily and sensitive skin. Though Simple products are great for sensitive skin, it does not making the oil and acne any better.
The trick is to let your skin absorb fully the product after every step for e.g. wait 5 mins for the moisturizer to be absorbed (make sure by lightly using a finger to tap your skin and if it is still heavily there,let it absorb. Make sure your skin is close to dry or at least 50-70% dry then apply the next cream.
This is very important as I used to rush into apply products and what happened was a reverse effect and i started breaking out (not with eucerin but other products). It is VERY important that you DO NOT mix any skin products because of unknown chemical reactions that may irritate your skin.
So if you’re hesitant,i would recommend you to just try, and most of all, believe in it because positive thinking will bring positive results :>

The first three weeks of using this my skin looked great, it was clearing up nicely, hardly had any breakouts, I was so happy – thought I finally found a product that actually works…. However after continued use my skin became really bad, and I mean really really bad, one morning I woke up with over twenty whiteheads, Red scaly skin, I was horrified. My skin had never been like that before. Almost became quite depressed, didn’t wasn’t to go out or go work an face people! Couldn’t figure out how an why that could have happened.
But I’m going to stay away from this. Would not recommend.

Having had great success with the Eucerin Rebalancing cleanser, I purchased the Dermo Purifyer toner 3 months post-Accutane to combat some annoyingly persistent whiteheads that started cropping up along my chin and jawline areas. Fearing an acne relapse, I stocked up on some pretty potent blemish-busting formulas, looking for anything that promised to eradicate blackheads and whiteheads and leave my skin clear and pimple-free. Since my derm had started me on the Eucerin cleanser, I figured using a toner from the same brand would work synergestically to produce the desired results. I wish I knew then what I know now: my fragile, thin, hypersensitive skin was breaking out because it was severely dehydrated.
While this toner did help eradicate blemishes in the short-term, the long-term results were disastrous. It dried my poor skin out so much that it was red and flaking and agonizing to the touch. All this torture contributed to even worse breakouts. My skin was a painful red mess and nothing seemed to help the dryness go away. After a full month of using this product, I finally wised up and stopped using it. That was 6 months ago but my skin is still very sensitized and prone to redness and dehydration.
While I have no doubt that this product would work very well for those with oily, hardy skin, I strongly advise those with hypersensitive complexions to give the Dermo Purifyer toner a wide berth, It contains 2% Lactic Acid and is supposed to ‘gently unclog pores without overdrying’. Well, I can personally attest that it IS extremely drying and not in the least bit suited to sensitive skin, given that the second ingredient in this toner after water is alcohol. The excerpt at the back of the bottle proudly claims that excellent skin tolerability and efficacy was proven on patients with blemished and acne-prone skins. Again, quite possibly a legitimate claim, just not for people with hypersensitive, fragile skin.
I generally have faith in Eucerin as there is a reason why dermatologists worldwide recommend their patients use it. I wish I had sought my derm’s advice before investing in a bottle of this stuff. Here in Malaysia, a bottle of Dermo Purifyer retails for approximately RM 30 and is widely available at most drugstores. The 200 ml bottle is an eye-pleasing green and the product itself is oil-free. I’d recommend it to those with blemished skin who can handle AHAs and BHAs as this product was designed to be compatible with common acne medication. For those with sensitive skin, run far far away.
