I love the clarifying cleanser but I only like the clarifying toner from Murad. It makes my skin feel refreshed and tingly when I use it, but not any more than a drug store brand would. It’s not really anything special.
I really dislike the top and wish it had a smaller hole to dispense the toner because I usually end up putting waaay more than I need on the cotton pad.

I got this as a freebie after purchasing the Essential C Toner and the T-zone gel from Murad.
I have oily skin and large pores on my nose and thought I would try it as I got it free and see how it goes. Initially after using a cotton pad to just clean the nose area, it does feel like it stripped all the clogged pores and made it cleaner. However, if I use it to wipe my cheeks area, it caused my skin to hurt abit and later became flaky. It was way too harsh even for my oily skin which usually is not sensitive to products. Also it causes my skin to become more oiler after using it, which is a no no for me. Also I find the alcohol smell too strong for my liking.
Lastly, the bottle top should have a smaller mouth or opening so not all the liquid comes out at once, which is such wastage. I have to dip the cotton pad into the opening instead of pouring it out.

This toner will absolutely strip every last bit of oil, makeup, dirt, etc off your skin but for me it is waaay too harsh, and I have very oily skin. I wouldn’t want to use this even once in a while, it causes my skin to be very oily afterwards since it increases oil production on the overly cleaned skin. And I always use a moisturizer. No control top to the bottle. And truly it does smell strong like alcohol, doesn’t bother me but some will find it harsh.
