This toner very refreshing and it smells wonderful, and it comes in a great spray bottle that sprays a fine, even mist. My problem is that it just doesn’t seem to do anything for my skin one way or the other. I’ve experimented with it for about 4 months now, using it at different points in my skincare routine, and it’s almost as if I’ve just sprayed water on my face. No irritation, but no noticeable benefits to my skin at all.
I know that this is intended to be a gentle product, but for the price, I expect to at least notice some kind of difference. I really like most of the other Boscia products I’ve used, but this one was very underwhelming.

I’m on the fence about this. I’m looking for a balancing spray after cleaning before serums. When I used it after my Sunday Riley/Tata Harper cleanser before Good Genes/Luna/Bionic, it made my face redder. If I didn’t use it then it’s not so red.
I have used it after I get home and take my make up off with Bioderma with nothing after it and also before going out for a nightly walk. I don’t notice an increase in the redness and my face does feel soft.

I got this based on a sephora associate recommendation. Keep in mind I didn’t even have a toner I was using in the first place so I wanted something to add to my regime and this is a good addition!
I started of not using it right away, but I find that it works best on a clean face after my showers. I noticed my skin has gotten progressively less oily by the end of the day. It doesn’t stop my oiliness per say, but since using it daily I noticed less whiteheads and blackheads.
If you’re new to using toners and want something that is going to guarantee help with your skin, I’d suggest this, it is a bit pricey but for the fact I know it’ll do what it says; I’d be willing to pay for it again and again.

I started using this toner as per a Sephora employee’s suggestion after experiencing no positive results from Ole Henriksen’s Grease Relief toner, and I’m so grateful I gave it a try.
I have very oily, sensitive, hormonal-acne prone skin with acne scars. Henriksen’s toner was really harsh and stripping on my skin, whereas Boscia’s Balancing Facial tonic is really gentle and has a pH level of 0 – meaning it will cater to both oily and/or dry skin, accommodating to your personal needs.
Within a week of using this toner paired with Boscia’s Clear Skin Cleanser, I’ve seen huge improvements in my acne, scarring, and oiliness.
A little goes a long way, it has a great scent and you can almost see your skin becoming more refined after you spray this toner on. I’ll definitely repurchase.

I never thought I will ever give Boscia a negative review until I try to rekindle my love for Boscia with this product. First thing first… I have sensitive, acne prone, combination skin ( which is starting to lean towards dry skin this winter). I first use this toner on and off during my first pregnancy. It felt very refreshing. I used this toner in conjunction with boscia’s purifying face wash then and now. So one lippie for working alright back then. It wasn’t anything special back then but it at least it didnt irritate me back then. Now being pregnant again I figure hey why not go back to Boscia. Wrong idea to use this toner. I am currently using the purifying cleanser as well. I have been using the balancing tonic for three weeks until yesterday. Through out the three weeks, my face will start to tingle on and off. Yesterday totally change my mind About this toner. When I sprayed the tonic on my face, my cheeks immediately started to burn. I wipe it off immediately, but that did not stop the stinging. Being traumatized, I return it back to the store this morning. I woke up with dry red cheeks that appeared to have small red bumps. My cheeks still feel irritated and it is currently a whoel 24 hrs later. I always notice that when I would spray the tonic on my face, my eye and lip area will get an irritated tingle, which is why most of the time I spray the tonic on a cotton pad and then swipe on my face. But lately as of three days ago, I decided to just spray it on my face. Never again. So no to repurchasing. One lippie for clearing up my acne.

This is great for normal skin (quite possibly the most gentle toner I’ve tried). I use it after the Boscia cleansing oil. The only thing I don’t like is that because it’s a spray (which makes it so gentle) I don’t think it’s going to remove excess makeup.

I love this “tonic”. It’s basically an alcohol-free toner for those who can’t do traditional alcohol toners but also need something that’s non-comedonegic. When you spray it over your (dry) face after washing your face or getting out of the shower, it starts to close your pores and otherwise prepares your skin and sebum levels for any serums and moisturizers that you’re going to apply. I definitely notice a difference in my skin after using it for about 4 months. I don’t know how I got on without it before! It feels like a breath of fresh air for your skin! It’s not that expensive, and seems to be lasting forever because I still have 2/3 of a bottle left. One last thing, my favorite thing is to put this and my moisturizer in the fridge overnight, and then it feels sooo good to spray/rub them on cold in the morning!

Instead of repurchasing my fav Body Shop Vitamin E mist, I decided to give this one a try and I’m glad I did. Instead of a fine mist like the Vitamin E mist, I like how you get more product out with each spritz. It does not irritate my eyes and best of all, really nicely moisturize my face especially if I forget to apply moisturizer. I tried several different toners from Shisheido, Clinique, Suki but I’m impressed with this Boscia Balancing Tonic.

Toners always irritate my skin but this one is amazing. My skin was red & had a few bumps but as soon as I put this on OMG it was so soothing and took all the redness & bumps away. Love this stuff! I’m also using the new Black Hydration Gel which I love just as much. I wanted to write a review but I can’t find the product in the listing.

unfortunetly I did not like this product. It tended to burn my skin and continued to leave my face feeling uncomfortable as the day went on.
