I must be allergic to certain essential oils because this made my face sting and turn red on several occasions. It always seems to be the products with “soothing” ingredients that react with my skin. I had to give this one away, but even if it hadn’t stung so much, I probably wouldn’t have repurchased anyway. It dries down tacky and made my night cream more difficult to spread, and despite my nearly unconditional love of lavender, the scent was too medicinal for me. Would recommend a patch test in-store if you’re thinking of buying this.

Arguably this is the most utilitarian spray of the 3 MB sprays I own.
Firstly this is the only one out of Rose, cucumber and lavender that doesn’t have “fragrance” in the ingredient list, meaning is it only scented w lavender oil and lavender water.
It smells like lavender. You either like the smell or you don’t. I do.
Lavender has antibacterial properties, so I spray my makeup brushes w this before using. That includes face and eyeshadow brushes, I like using this to apply shadows wet bc I have sensitive eyelids and this soothes them.
I don’t like this as a setting spray. It just doesn’t do much and maybe seven disturbs my makeup a bit. But to spray on brushes it is awesommmee.
It was also nice when I was pregnant to leave in the fridge and spray on my face as a pick me up. The scent is very calming to me and I actually took it w me to the hospital when I went in to deliver.
I will definitely repurchase again and again.

I’m hispanic and if you are too, I’m here to tell you that this stuff smells like a botanica. Which in my opinion, is not good. Blegh. Anyway, the packaging is super cute. That’s the only positive thing I can say about this product. Every time I apply this stuff to my face and neck, it dries out my skin like crazy. It happens even when I apply moisturizer prior. Does it have alcohol in it? Well people say it doesn’t. It doesn’t burn when I spray it onto my face, however, it did burn right after I got a wax. I would not repurchase. I have the other two colors, but I’ll review those separately. This review is solely for the purple spray.

This product is HEAVEN! Every time I try a new facial spray I always come back to this one. I love to spray it on my face and neck and it leaves my skin feeling very hydrated. I find that once in the morning is enough and I don’t really need to spray it again throughout the day. But if you would like an afternoon pick me up for your skin, then give this a go. It leaves skin feeling refreshed and well hydrated. I even love this for sensitive skin or skin that is irritated. When I have had a day where my skin is irritated or sensitive this has always helped to soothe and calm my skin. Best facial spray hands down.

This is my favourite out of all the facial sprays by Mario Badescu. I’ve tried the green aloe spray and the rose spray and while those worked well, this is by far the best.
I use this after my skincare routine and it calms my skin. Redness disappears and my skin glows the next morning. It works extremely well with my sensitive skin and doesn’t leave any shine or residue which I feel like rose spray does.
I’ve repurchased this multiple times now!
