I got this in Fair, and the color matches me great in winter, better than the Dr. Jart Ceramidin Day Tint (which has more yellow in it). It’s light coverage, which is what I wanted. You do need to make sure you rub to apply it evenly. I like that it’s a mineral sunscreen. It works great for me in the winter as one step because I don’t need much SPF where I live.
The only thing I’m confused about is the mention of glitter. Mine is not glittery at all.

When I first swatched it in Sephora, I loved that it matches my skin tone perfectly but what I didn’t notice was the insane amount of glitter on my hands after swatching the product. After the first use, I realise I’d get glitter on every single surface I have touched so I have to wash my hands very thoroughly after each application. However, sometimes the glitter still remains on my hands despite scrubbing with soap.
At a positive note, I love how glowy it makes my skin looks and how it even out my skin tone but if you’ve very oily skin, this is not the product for you because it will make you look like a grease ball. Every few hours, I have to touch up with blotting sheets because my face would start looking very greasy and feels very oily.
I don’t think I will be repurchasing this because I’d rather spend a little more money on Laura Mercier’s tinted moisturiser, which is much better for my skin type, in my opinion.

Parabens 🙁
Other than parabens its perfect but parabens are so closely linked to breast cancer that it doesn’t matter how good it is, I won’t use it.

SOOOO DISAPPOINTED. This was like 35 dollars. After consulting with a professional at a beauty store, I was advised on the shade of this tinted moisturizer that I should use. This was a disaster in every way, not just that the shade didn’t match (it didn’t, way too dark and orangey), but it was also sticky, heavy, gross feeling. I wash my face with proactive cleanser and after a full day of working and then scrubbing my face really hard to get this goop off, I step out the shower and wipe my face with the white towel, and some of this product is STILL THERE. It is so gross. The next day I had breakouts on my forehead. This is not what a tinted moisturizer is supposed to look like, feel like, or behave like.
The best tinted moisturizer that I have come across is Flower’s but it’s expensive for such a small bottle (and for some reason I hate the smell) so I currently make my own by mixing covergirl foundation with Aveeno.

What the hell happened to this tinted moisturizer? I used to go to this spa years ago and the esthetician used to apply this TM to my skin after a facial. I liked it. It wasn’t too moisturizing and didn’t leave that typical greasy feeling behind like most TM’s. Something us oily skin ladies can appreciate. It is difficult to have oily skin and find a light weight sheer coverage base product such as a tinted moisturizer. Most seem to be too hydrating causing the skin to appear even more oily. Because this area is experiencing a long heat wave, I was in the market to buy a light weight TM. While at Sephora, I spotted this Stila Oil-Free TM are remember that I liked it in the past. Well, I recently found out they completely changed the formula! It still has some great qualities but two very bad ones which prevents me from wearing it.
The (+): It feels nice on the skin. It is nice to know the new formula isn’t greasy at all. It feels more like a thick primer (think Clairins Instant Smooth). It blends nicely into the skin and makes the skin look even. It won’t cover blemishes but it does provide a nice sheer cover to even out your skin tone. I love that this doesn’t have an offensive scent to it. It has a very faint “clean” scent. I also love the packaging! It doesn’t collect and leak around the opening of the tube when you stand it up. For reference, my previous TM which was Dior would leak like a bastard if you stored it upright. Lastly, I found a great color match with this in Warm. However, the shades cater more for light to medium skin with cool to neutral tones. Warm wouldn’t really work for my winter skin but it works fine for summer. However, the next lighter shade is Medium and that has very strong pink tones. It made my skin look ashy when I swatched it.
The (-): PURE STRAIGHT UP GLITTER! Data from Star Trek comes to mind. Now, I had a huge crush on Data back in the day but I don’t really want to look like him! For the younger generation that are reading this and thinking “who the hell is Data?” Well, this TM will make you look like Edward Cullen. Yeah so a woman approaching her 40’s shouldn’t be walking about with a face full of glitter unless she works the pole or the circus. I live a boring middle aged life. A glitter bombed face really doesn’t fit into my lifestyle. But, if you still want to try this TM out, I found that a generous dusting of a matte bronzer or face powder tames the glitter down. The next huge negative is that I’m allergic to this. Whenever I’m reactive to a product, my right side of my face gets invested with hives from around the eye area going all the way down to my chin. I don’t know why but this is what happens to me when I try a new product and my skin hates it. The hives form almost immediately and the itching and discomfort get more intense the longer as the day goes on. I originally thought the reaction was from something else so I continued to use this TM for a few more days. One day I switched from the TM to my usual foundation but changed nothing else and the hives calmed down. Just to test it out for sure, the next day, I reintroduced the Stila TM back into my routine and the hives came back in full force. So, this is going back to Sephora.

Really, really love this product.
An Ulta employee recommended this product to me when I went to find a bb/cc cream. It has good coverage for a tinted moisturizer, like a bb or cc, and is pigmented.
I noticed a lot of reviews said this product was glittery? I wouldn’t say its glittery; its more like specks of sheen, if that makes sense. It doesn’t look glittery at all on my face, it looks glowy and i love it! Lasts a long time, and its very lightweight! definitely a holy grail.

I was very unhappy with this product. I had tried using the “tone” shade for a few days, and it is way too glittery. I do not like having sparkles all over my face. I had tried on the product at a local Ulta before making the purchase, but it must have been on an overcast day because the sparkles were not apparent. I really do like the color match on my skin, the glitter is just overpowering in sunlight.
The first time I wore this on a sunny day, I looked like I was covered in a sheen of sweat. I thought that perhaps I had accidentally overapplied (this is what would happen to me if I overapplied Benefit’s You Rebel), so the next day I used less than a pea-sized amount on my entire face. I could not stop staring at myself in my car-visor mirror – the glitter was just insane.
If I wanted sparkle/glitter, I would have purchased the “Illuminating” moisturizer which actually has representative glittery stars on the tube. I really wanted to like this moisturizer, so I tried it for a full week before giving up and sending it back.
For reference, Neutrogena’s Healthy Skin Enhancer in Light-to-Neutral is comparable on my skin coloring and nice and matte, but I cannot use it because the Neutrogena SPF irritates my eyes. (All Neutrogena sunblock products irritate my eyes – not just cosmetics.)
I am currently using TheBalm Balmshelter in Light/Medium and loving it.

I got a sample of this foundation from Sephora.
I wanted to love it – colour (fair) was great for my skin tone. It was lightweight and sheer but did give me coverage that I was looking for – which is mostly to even out my skin tone. It blended out lovely and made my skin look radiant.
BUT, as others have noted, it has a definite shimmer/glitter to it. I don’t think it would noticeable to the average person looking at me from afar, but in direct sunlight and close up, I can see it on my skin. I will not be purchasing.

I’ve noticed that a lot of people are saying this is “glittery?” I’ve been using this for a while and I’ve never noticed any kind of glitteriness whatsoever. It’s not a whole lot of coverage, but I don’t need too much coverage, so it works for me. I wouldn’t use this if you have oily skin, sometimes when I use it, it makes me feel kinda oily and my skin typically isn’t that oily. But yeah, I definitely don’t see the glitter that other people seem to be seeing!

I love this for lazy days. My only complaint is that there isn’t a very good range of colors. They are super sheer and blendable though so one or two shades off really doesn’t make a difference.
