Quite impressed with this Tinted Moisturizer, it really suits my skin and it doesn’t feels any irritation. Thing which I didn’t like about the product was its packaging and it was bit pricey too.

Whats up with the negative reviews? I love this! it gives me a nice, natural glow. It works well i feel like on mostly dry-normal, normal skin, and MAYBE combo but this wont work for super dry or super oily skin! the sunscreen helps a lot cause i can skip an extra step. For a tinted mousturizer it covers great. Remember it is NOT a foundation. You cant expect it to cover everything

I got this on special at sephora for $7 and I was really excited to use this product cause its Sephora and Sephora knows makeup I was really disappointed when I used this product ! I’d use concealer on the bottom for an extra coverage but when I would put on the tinted moisturizer mysteriously everything look weird and it look like I had an uneven skin tone so I thought it was the concealer the next time I used it I didn’t put on concealer and just the tinted moisturizer and AGAIN this happened ! I thought maybe I got the wrong skin tone but I got a color match by some lady at sephora. After one week of using this product my skin got really blotchy and uneven and I just stopped using it personally I’d never buy this product again especially if you have oily or combination skin.

Oil-free, anti-aging peptides, SPF, and broad spectrum of colors = theoretically awesome. However, this somehow felt distinctly sticky and oxidizes like crazy. More like a full coverage foundation than TM, which would be okay but it broke me out.

I am surprised by some of the reviews – although I think age may be a factor. This tinted moisturizer may be better for those who do not have skin that is too oily or too dry. I am on my second tube of this and am quite satisfied.
First, the good: It glides on easily and is fragrance free. It also has broad specturm protection with an SPF20. It’s nice to wear to the gym because your face can breathe without being weighed down with makeup. I have rosacea, so it tones down the redness for me, but doesn’t look like I have anything on. If I want a little extra coverage on a random day, I use a little powder on the sides of my nose where I have some redness.
It’s not a foundation, so don’t expect a lot of coverage. If you need to cover something on your skin, this isn’t for you. To get the protection afforded of an SPF20, you’d have to really slather it on, which may look a little odd. So depending on the season, you may or may not want to do something underneath. In the summer, if I am going to be outside all day, I will wear it over my Clinique SuperDefense with SPF25, to give me a little extra protection. For just every day errand running, etc., I wear it alone.
The cost is about where it should be ($21). A tube lasts me about four months using it almost every day.
The only drawback is the packaging. I like the pump, but the plastic film on the bottle can get frayed through every day use and if the little pieces of black plastic get on your hands when you are applying and then onto your face, they are kind of difficult to get off – like little black pieces of confetti. Maybe my first one got wet on the bathroom counter, I am taking great care of this one to see if that solves the issue.

All i can say is that it’s VERY GREASY and messy.
EDIT: I tried it out again, and I had some sort of reaction to it. My cheeks flared up red and puffy. It was still greasy for me although my skin is normal, though sometimes dry when i don’t take care of it that well.
cautiousPretzels3
It really doesn’t cover much, but most TM’s don’t anyways 🙂 My skin doesn’t look perfect, but it looks like I don’t use anything on my face and it is in better condition than sans-makeup! I’d rather look like I have average skin than have people tell me they can see my foundation! Gives you that no-makeup look! add some highlighter and mascara and I feel like a natural beaut

My grandmother used this for years on her dry mature skin. She didn’t use anything else but this and her skin always looked fresh and healthy. So if she liked it that much, it can’t be bad! I trust her opinion.

I like this for just a touch of cover up and a nice hint of colour

I love and hate this product. I have such sensitive skin it’s unbelievable, and to top that the skin on my nose rejects EVERY foundation ever made (or at least that’s what it feels like with the amount I’ve tried!) This product is the only thing that stays on my nose. It’s the perfect texture and gives the right amount of moisture to my dry skin. I actually use it as a primer on my whole face just because it’s perfectly moisturising and then it’s the only thing I put on my nose.
The ONLY issue I have with this is that it only comes in one colour so I can’t use it on it’s own (except on my nose). It’s a very orange colour on my light skin. I’ve tried their BB cream in a lighter colour but the formula is different so it doesn’t stay on my skin in the same way.
But LOVE this – other than the colour!

I have this in ‘Natural Tone’ and have been using it on and off for over a year. At first I didn’t like it, when using it on it’s own it would appear too pink and dark for my Asian skin tone. (I am a NC37-40 and NC42 in Summer) However, I have been trying it with different powders and concealers and now I love it! I mix this with my moisturizer almost half/half and it matches my skin almost perfectly. I don’t like to wear foundation so this is perfect for me. This TM comes in second after my Sonia Kashuk one.
The coverage is light and I find that I do have to put concealer over my acne scars and powder for a flawless finish- but for an everyday natural look or quick run to the store this is perfect.

This is the first tinted moisturizer I brought. I have an oily t-zone and mild acne so I didn’t expect to use this as an every day product because the coverage is sheer but I wanted to try it for the summer.
I have the natural shade and despite not being pale this is still too dark for me, it sort of looks fine on my face but when I turn sideways it looks a bit orange compared to my neck. Although this wouldn’t be a problem since I intended to get a tan in the summer anyway.
However this feels extremely oily/greasy when first applied, it’s fine when it sets and leaves my skin quite soft but it does make my skin oily. So if you have oily skin like me I wouldn’t recommend this. It does feel moisturizing so maybe it would be better for other skin types.
Plus it has the classic Nivea smell which I personally love. 🙂

I got this product free from boots as a buy one get 1 free on nivea products. as it was originally so cheap my expectations werent too high, but i gave it a shot. I am SO glad I did as this has replaced all my expensive foundations. this gives a beautiful, natural, slightly glowy finish to the skin that lasts all day. It has surprisingly good coverage for a tinted moisturiser when buffed in using a flat top brush (manages to conceal most of my acne pigmentation) but can be sheered out if you apply it with fingers. i wear this over a thin layer of moiisturiser and also put powder through my tzone and i dont need to blot at all which is good as i tend to get oily on my nose when i use other foundations. i suppose the only downside is the limited colour range for paler girls. the ‘natural’ colour works perfectly on my nc35 skintone, but i expect it might look slightly orangy on very pale skin.
highly reccomemded overall, its super cheap but id have been willing to pay more for a product as good as this!
artisticLizard5
I have surface oil but dry skin and this product although it says it is a moisturiser doesn’t moisturise my skin.
I usually use placenta cream and snail cream under this to hydrate my skin prior to applying this.
I love that it matches my skin tone perfectly and I am one of those cursed with a paler face than my body. So I apply this to my face only and it makes my face look the same colour as my body.
Applies matt but after a couple of hours, I look dewy to the point of oily but it makes me look healthy. I don’t set it with powder, I just apply blush over it once its dry.
I like the dewy look but not to the point i get oily.
I have had this product for a couple of months now and I still like it. It only takes a small amount for good coverage. On my acne spots, I cover with foundation.
Its hard to blend on dy skin and will result in streaks, so I just wet my finger and blend the streak away. Works well.
I think a lot of people use too much product on dry skin that’s why it looks orange and streaky.

I recently decided to get back into using BB Creams. I kicked liquid face makeup after my sophomore year in high school (at the time I was using the Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream in Medium Deep), and have since stuck to powders, since my skin wasn’t all that bad. Presently, as a sophomore in college, the workload got the best of me and I invested in a concealer, meaning I would have to pair it with some kind of foundation, so I ventured back into BB Creams. I didn’t want to just roll right into the Dream Fresh BB again, and while at CVS, I spotted the Nuance Tinted Moisturizer. I’ve been using this for about a week, and I’ve got to say, I’m a fan!
It applies really smooth (I’ve used my fingers and a stippling brush and have gotten great results), and it doesn’t budge or fade. It really does flawlessly blend into your skin, and it’s so lightweight that you almost forget you have it on.
As for the price, it is a little more expensive than average drugstore cosmetics, but I don’t think it’s that big of a difference. Compared to a L’OREAL foundation, which is 10.99, it’s only 3 dollars more. It’s also insanely worth it. I love it!

I purchased Nuance Salma Hayek Flawless Wear Tinted Moisturizer in medium/deep from CVS. I tried this product for only 7 days before I returned it for a refund. The packaging was very nice, like the other Nuance products. Their were not very many other good details about this product except for the fact that it didn’t make my face AS oily as the Nuance bb cream.
The product felt slightly oily and slightly runny. Coverage was par, may be good for someone who doesn’t need much coverage. And, I know, it’s a tinted moisturizer and the point isn’t for much coverage at all. The problem, however, is that barely evened out my skin tone. Also, the smell of this product wasn’t very pleasant. In fact, I would prefer the smell of the overly-perfumed bb cream. Now the bb cream aside, this product didn’t even have a makeup-ie type smell. It smelled almost more like chemicals than makeup. When I smell makeup I always compare it to how my grandmothers Clinique smelled. Most makeup have a similar smell or only slightly different smell like Clinique. I was incredibly disappointed with the smell.
As for comparisons… the Nuance bb Cream was a much better product than the tinted moisturizer. See profile for the review on the bb cream. The smell and the coverage was much better than the tinted moisturizer. It also felt more creamy and more silky than this product. I actually can’t believe that the bb cream made me more oily than this product. The only other tinted moisturizers I can compare with are Tarte and Bareminerals. I know the pricing doesn’t make for a very fair review. Tarte’s product was excellent if you want to spend almost $40 on about the same amount of product. Bareminerals, however, is providing almost the same experience as the Nuance tinted moisturizer. In which case make Bareminerals tinted moisturizer way over priced.
I struggle with breakouts as an adult so I cannot say if it caused any more breakouts or not. It was a bit over-priced for the small amount in the tube (1 oz.). I would not buy this product again since it did not provide even a so-so experience. At this point I have pretty much come to the conclusion that I will need to spend more money on the more expensive products because of my acne prone and oily skin.
brainyPretzels2
I didn’t like it by itself.
CONS: Super sheer!
PROS: BUT HELLO! It is marketed as a tinted moisturizer so stop complaining and get more informed on what is being purchased! Be aware of what the product does. But it is pretty amazing. Super moisturizing!
TIP: I mix it in with my dryer foundations such us covergirl 3-1. and its perfection! That’s the best advice I can give you with this product. I LOVE IT!

I am in my early 40’s and have suffered from oily skin/acne prone all of life. My skin has calmed down a lot over the last couple of years. With that said, I think this is a wonderful product. This is a Tinted Moisturizer, which means the coverage is light. If you want full coverage then I suggest you buy foundation. I put this on after my sunscreen and oil free regular moisturizer, yes this product for me is not moisturizing enough. I apply it with a brush and it goes on beautifully with really no effort. Lastly I apply my Chanel Double Perfection Lumiere powder makeup to complete the look. I can honestly tell you that it looks great! I have tried so many different brands of Tinted Moisturizers, from really expensive to drug store brands and this by far blows them out of them out of the water. I still have to blot in the day to reduce the shine, but this is been part of my life for as long as I can remember so it’s not an inconvenience for me. I don’t feel like it makes me any more oily than when I don’t have it on. It is non-irratating, which for me is huge because on top of my other issues I have sensitive skin. I use to spend $40+ on Laura Mercier, but no more this is my new favorite TM. Give it a try, CVS has a great return policy so if it doesn’t work out you can always take it back.
culturedBittern9
I have this is Medium 255 The Light/Medium was too yellow. The Medium color is pretty and makes my skin a bit more “tan”, which is great because I cover up my face at the beach. This is a thicker than usual TM so that it slightly borders on foundation territory. I mix a little bit with the Renewed Radiance Moisturizing Day Cream Spf 30 for a gorgeous lit from within look. Also love the flip top tube container.
EDIT 11/18/2012: I was in a rush to go out and had to apply this over my moisturizer instead of mixing it. The results were awesome. It blended seamlessly onto my skin and the result was neither dewy nor matte, just perfect.
EDIT 10/2/14: I ended up giving this to a relative. Over the summer I wasn’t using it enough & didn’t want it to go bad.

This little one ounce tube of tinted moisturizer packs a big punch. It goes on like a liquid foundation and gives a good amount of coverage. Concealer is still needed. I was surprised as I did not expect this amount of pigmentation from a tint. I bought color #250 which is the Light/Medium. It is definitely yellow/warm based and blends perfectly on my fair olive skin which is slightly tanned at the moment. It does not contain a sunscreen and I am actually glad about that as I can use my preferred product under the tint. It wears well but not all day long. I bought it to take with me on a quick trip to DC where I know the weather will be very hot and very humid. I just know that my regular foundation will feel like a clay mask on my face in that climate so I wanted something lighter. I don’t have to pack a daytime moisturizer as this as just the right amount for me in the formula. This might not work for you if you have oily skin as it does have that dewy finish that comes from most tinted moisturizers. This feels far less heavy on my face than my usual Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer. I think it will be just what I need for the climate challenge coming up for me. I might buff on a bit of powder for the evening. The one ounce tube is air travel friendly but a bit expensive for only the one ounce.

The bottle says ultra sheer foundation. It’s not a foundation but the ultra sheer part is correct. I’m even hesitant to call it a tinted moisturizer beccause it’s so sheer it disappeared on my skin like a regular moisturizer. I’m not sure what it’s real purpose is. I use it to lighten another foundation that’s a tad to dark for me. Seriously, I don’t understand what it’s purpose is because it just goes away when I apply it to my face. There isn’t much to say about it because there was nothing to review. It’s a nice light moisturizer.

I got a good sized sample of this at Sephora from a Boscia rep who swore it would match me. Well, it does, almost. But the problem is, it covered absolutely nothing. Not redness or any part of my slightly uneven skin tone. My skin is actually really good right now…but this stuff was useless.
jumpyRelish1
This product works well for summer, when you want to wear almost nothing. It is very moisturizing. It is very high price for wearing almost nothing though …..
Packaging has a pump, which is really nice. Tends to dispense a “goop” with each pump that you need to pick out (dried TM collects into the pump)
For the price – this should be a bullet proof container
Won’t re purchase as I have found the MUFE Full Coverage Concealer mixed with pure Aloe Vera Gel to be my HG product; moisturizing, uber sheer to buildable coverage, small and easy to carry, and the most important – NO transfer !! The stuff is water proof.
So no more Becca TM …..too expensive and have found better
giddyGelding8
Beautiful tinted moisturiser. A bit too sheer for my needs now but will always back to this when my skin is clearer. Feels lightweight and very moisturizing in a non greasy way. Love the SPF too!

Tinted moisturisers are my base of choice and the LSC by BECCA is a thrice repurchased product.
I have used other brands of tinted moisturiser – Stila, Liz Earle, Laura Mercier, Pixi, Thebalm, MAC, Korres, and they all have their place in my stash. BECCA LSC is the lightest consistency – it is like chiffon compared with cotton when compared with any of the aforementioned, so if one is looking for a one-stop-shop to apply and go, forget it unless you are about 8yrs old, for this does not cover my blackheads, open pores or thread veins.
However what it does do is even out, not loads but enough to prevent me trowling on the concealer and looking more like a powdered old trout than necessary. It is also beautifully cooling on my perimenopausal cheeks and dries to a flattering eggshell satin finish.
It has a decent SPF25 and it does last so that at the end of a 10hr day there is still some left on the wash cloth.
I applaud BECCA for its miriad shades – porcelain is light enough and neutral enough for me.
Why only 4 lippies – sometimes I just want to apply and go and would love a product with a tad more coverage, so with less than perfect skin I reach for this less often, but I will repurchase when I run out.
somberRaisins8
It evens my skin tone and leaves me looking as if I have nothing on. Freckles can be tricky if makeup is too heavy. This product is easy to blend. I pump 2-3x and spread with my fingers. The finish is gorgeous and natural. I do wish it afforded a little more coverage, so for that I take off a lippie. It doesn’t oxidize as the day progresses, but it does seem to disappear byt the time I get home. Doesn’t settle into fine lines. I love the packaging! It has a light pleasant fragrance. Best of all….no breakouts! I wear Nude and it’s a perfect match for my NC 30 skin.
amusedBittern6
My HG TM! So glad I found this. Provides ideal “weekend” or “first date” type coverage, meaning very natural and sheer, but enough pigmentation to even out my skin. I have decent skin with broken capillaries, fine lines, and the random blemish, so this TM is perfect on my NC30/C4 light tan Asian complexion. I purchased the “Olive” shade. It truly feels like I am wearing nothing, providing light coverage that feels like skin. I set with MUFE HD powder and get shiny about 4 hours later; normal for my oily T-zone. I wouldn’t wear this to feel polished on an interview, but for daily use and hanging out, this evens my skin out perfectly and feels super comfortable all day. Would recommend for guys and gals who don’t like the feel of foundation and prefer sheer coverage. Love this!
amusedPretzels5
**Edit 6/22 Had to put this away until after summer. This is a great TM for fall/winter/spring, it cant hold up during the summer. It is already a bit greasy, and powder can help….but this formula is powerless in the summer when my face starts to sweat more than normal.
Have been looking for a TM for summer/days I care but dont care. Powder never does it for me, so I figured a TM would do the trick. After looking at all the TMs at Sephora, I was taken aback at the prices!! Most of them cost more than my MAC foundation, which is stupid to me, its just a tinted moisturizer.
I was about to walk out of the store empty handed, but I found the Sephora brand and swatched a few of the darker shades. I was apprehensive at first when the darkest shade (Tan Hazlenut) came out looking really light against my skin ( NW43). Once i rubbed it into my skin, it seemed to oxidize really well and was a good match. For only 20$, it was a steal.
I have oily skin, and this formula is a bit greasy. However, Ive tried a few powders over it, and it seems to matte it out. It covers REALLY well for a TM and matches my skin surprisingly well. I dont mind the sunscreen smell, because the sun protection half the appeal of a TM for me. The only real gripe I have with the product is that sometimes the pump thing doesnt always respond, even after shaking and squeezing.
alertDoughnut4
This tinted moisturizer does a great job of covering up the redness and gives a beautiful dewy finish. It is very sheer but I like that about it. I don’t find it to be greasy, sticky or heavy, it’s perfect for everyday wear. All I have to do is prime, put it on with fingers and and add some baked bronzer and I have a cute, bronzed look. The packaging is great as well. It comes in what looks like a squeeze tube, but as soon as you take the cap off you will see that it has a wonderful pump that allows control of how much product comes out.
Overall, for only being $21, it’s a good value and will last a long time. I will definitely be repurchasing this!
Edit: I’ve noticed that after a couple of hours this turns orange on me. I don’t like it anymore 🙁
chicApricots5
i thought I was try this tinted moisturizer well, I took it off as soon as I got home. It was too greasy, and I never had to wipe my face during the day with any TM but this one I did. I won’t be buying this anymore…..
puzzledBuzzard8
This is what I use as my foundation these days as I can never seem to find a foundation that doesn’t make me feel cakey or like I’ve painted myself with beige paint. It breathes and the scent is so light that I barely know I’ve put it on. For sensitive skin I love it.
worldlyDoughnut9
I have searched for this a long time and sent an email to Nivea Customer Service. This is sadly no longer in production. It was perfect:
-Natural color
-Healthy looking skin
-No powdery feeling
-Blended smoothly into skin
-Moisturizing
Well, I have to search for a similar creme but I doubt I will find it. Maybe something from the Clinic range.
pleasedDingo2
this is the first tinted moisturizer i tried so my review may be not so accurate since i don’t know how a very good tinted moisturizer should perform…but i’ll update the review when i’ll try other TM’s…so :
PROS:
– the coverage is ok for a tinted moisturizer i would say sheer buildable to medium manages to cover my redness and acne scars very well
-looks natural on skin,i read other reviews here saying it’s cakey for me it’s not cakey because it sinks into the skin, without feeling heavy at all , it looks natural..i bought my nivea tm from Germany so maybe it’s a difference from which country you buy it?
-i agree with other reviewers that the shades are too dark,i bought the lightest shade ,it’s still 1 tone too dark for my fair skin tone, but i didn’t noticed any orange undertones
-i like that it containes vitamins and hydramins
-i like the price is mega cheap
-for a natural finish i recommand this to be applied with a foundation brush i used my shiseido perfect foundation brush ,so i think the finish and the coverage of this TM all depends on the way you’re applying it
-i definitely didn’t broke me out i even noticed my skin starts to clear from dark sports since im using this
-smells good like all nivea cremes, not too overpowerful
-and a litlle goes a long way,i have my nivea TM for 5 months,i am using it everyday and i still didn’t finished it yet
CONS:
-limited shade range,i saw only 2 shades available
-it has spf only 8
mercifulTortoise3
I’m actually surprised with this tm…I’m in LOVE with it! I have literally stopped using my nars foundation and also my bb cream…..this tm makes my skin glow and look/feel moisturized all day! Will definitely re-purchase this again 🙂

THE FOURMULA CHANGED GUYS!
The formula must have changed or you guys are nuts It does not smell like anything and “I” have a sensitive nose. This is good for a drugstore product i would use nars though. but this is really good the packaging is a bit cute i can agree with the yellow my friend got me this and a coach purse for my belated birthday and the skin tone didnt quite match but when i put it on it blended in seemlessly remember this isint a foundation its not supposed to completely cover up its tinted. TINTED so it would put on light coverage and well i had 2 red pimples an i put a bit on and it covered it quite a bit it is moisturising i do have oily skin and i am prone to blemishes rather then pimples this is safe.
I know how it feels to read horrid reviews when you got or was going to get something but i am pretty picky when i read reviews if i would have saw these horrible reviews before i tried it on i would have never put it on. I love this im so ecstatic to try more TM’s. very light moisturizing product that does cover up more than i expected to i really want to get a spf one That would be really great.
By all means I swear it does not smell
it does have yellow Thank god i have yellow in me.
it covers up im not going to lie it covered up alot but not like foundation but it covered everything on my face red pimples marks etc almost completely. I will buy more soon. Please guys try it if you have yellow undertones just try it you can always take it back. im sure the fourmula changed because of the sudden good reviews.

I picked this up for 13.50USD at CVS. I have it in “Medium/Deep” While that is pricey for a drugstore product, I think it is still cheap compared to philosphy, Nars, Laura Mercier. And yes, I would compare this moisturizer to those. I have never been really amazed by any TM, except maybe CoverFX. I like having a light layer of coverage under my makeup, and most TM’s do just that. I always have a slight issue with the shades of TM’s. I’ve never been able to find one that doesnt slightly darken me, or else leave me with a pale, gray-ish cast. But since I always wear foundation over it, I dont mind terribly. But Nuance matches me perfectly! Amazing-I never thought this would happen. I am willing to pay for pricey DS TM, versus very pricey high end TM that provide the same coverage (for me), moisturize my skin just ok, and dont even match my skintone!
This stuff blends in easily, feels really good on my skin, provides decent coverage. I also dont detect a smell. I feel it is a good product and reasonably priced. For reference, I am NC37, BB Honey (although it is a tad dark for me).
