It took me 5 tries to find my color match. Supposedly only one Sephora had this in stock pretty far from me so I was left to guessing. I of course used their color picking tool but it let me down 4 times. I finally decided on Linen and it’s close on my MAC NC20, Bobbi Brown Warm Sand, Giorgio Armani 5.
The texture is nice and dry and feels like nothing. I use it over a moisturizing sunscreen and it seems to work well and lasted most of the day on my combo skin. Tube is a harder plastic so will probably be a pain as it nears the end. I can see cutting open the tube and getting TM everywhere. I wish it was in a squeeze tube.

Misnomer to call a moisturizer-there really is none
Was looking for something sheer to just even out tone on my 65 yr old skin and was impressed enough with the sample Sephora gave me that I bought a bottle. # 6 Satin
Seems a bit drying but just need to get the right moisturizer/sunscreen combo.
This summer i bought the Bare with Me from NYX but now realize it is a bit too light even though it is a beige color. The Sephora is much better.

I can’t rave enough about this product. I think this is a dupe for Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet. It’s long wearing and gave me a nice glow at the end of the day! So affordable and yet performs so much better than most high end brands.

After a summer abroad, even with wearing SPF, my face tanned enough that I couldn’t wear my usual base (NARS Velvet Matte Tint in Alaska). I didn’t want to splurge on a replacement for something I wouldn’t need for a super long time and decided give this a try in 07 Linen, which is the slightest bit too warm for me but the closest color match.
The pros: this is definitely a matte finish, which is what I like, portable and affordable (although please note that for $18 you are getting 1.014 oz, as opposed to other bases, which are pricier but also usually closer to 1.7 oz), easy to apply with fingers and has a light, natural coverage. A major pro? Does not break me out!
The cons: this doesn’t ever completely meld with my face, if that makes sense? In other words, sometimes I will lightly touch my chin or cheek and the color lifts off on my fingers, even without rubbing. As you may imagine, that means the staying power isn’t great. It’s not a deal breaker for me, but it might be for those who are looking for longer-lasting coverage. It is also lightly fragranced and does not have SPF, which may or may not be a con for you, depending on how/when you apply your sun protection.
Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and will buy it again if my tan doesn’t fade before I finish this bottle.

Had a sample made for me.of shade 05 Crepe: a light, cool yellow based shade. Lippies for that.
Sadly this settled/pooled in my open nose pores and had poor adhesion there as well (combo skin, nose is shiny). If I plan to wear a tinted moisturizing I’m not going to be fussed with application, primers, etc. If I can’t slap it on with my hands, no go.
A previous review said this wasn’t scented….but it is. Heads up on that.

Another shiny expensive dupe, they want that we think that we have a matter of choice, produce it for few bucks and rip us off. Go and buy a drugstore moisturiser it will do the same job!

I bought this because I was looking for something more lightweight for everyday wear but I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do! I have normally to slightly oily skin, some texture from clogged pores on my forehead, but don’t really need much coverage. This is perfect! I don’t even need to set it with powder which is perfect when I’m rushing since it’s one less step. I apply it with a damp sponge but I think it would also work well applied with fingers. It wears well throughout the day, and looks good up until the 8-9th your. After that it does start to break down on me but it doesn’t look patchy. I powder maybe about 4 hours in to mattify. It really is lightweight and I love that i can’t feel it on my face.

This is VERY sheer. It also seemed to streak and lift off my face when applied with a sponge or with my fingers. I did not try with a brush…perhaps that would give better results.

This is amazing for me! The lightest shade is actually pale enough to be a color match! I have combo (normal/oily) skin that’s in really good shape with no real issues or concerns aside from preventing aging….I hate heavy cakey looking foundation so I tend to stick to light coverage. This is like a hybrid of a tinted moisturizer and a light coverage foundation… It gives a soft natural matte finish. It feels amazing on my skin, so soft and light. You don’t need to set it with powder unless you really want to. It is undetectable on my skin… Stayed matte but I still had a bit of a glow, not from oiliness just from my skin looking so nice and the foundation not being obvious. This dethroned my beloved Burts Bees BB cream as a go to foundation and replaces my need for a color match with the Cover Girl matte BB cream, it’s a lighter better version of the Cover Girl, which is a really good product to begin with. I’m so happy with how lovely this is!

UPDATE:
Sadly I found that this did not wear as well on my skin as I initially thought. It would become quite patchy and didn’t wear off too gracefully. Still a nice product so I give it a 3/5
Skin background: Combo/oily, acne scarring, sensitive/ reactive, large pores in the Tzone, fair-light with beige undertones. OVERALL RATING: 5/5 COVERAGE: This provides a light to a light-medium coverage and definitely can be built up! I recommend using a flat top style kabuki FINISH: Its the perfect soft matte finish just as the name claims TEXTURE: It is a very fluid and light weight texture. I wouldn’t really call this a tinted moisturizer but more of a lightweight matte foundation. This is one of the only products that I don’t feel the NEED to set with a powder because it seems to set all on its own! SCENT: Nothing too strong and no added fragrance SPF: None LASTING POWER: This impressed me with its wear time. I definitely got a solid 8 hours of wear, I did blot a few times through out the day but nothing too crazy as far as the oil breakthrough SHADES: They seem to have quite a bit of shades which is awesome! I use the shade 04 “cotton” which is fair with yellow undertones. DID THIS BREAK ME OUT?: Nope! PACKAGING: I enjoy the sleek and simplistic squeeze tube packaging. It makes it ideal for traveling. WOULD I REPURCHASE?: definitely FINAL VERDICT: I was not expecting much from this product but I honestly think either this or my Pixi Beauty Balm are going to be my new go to everyday foundations! I have been testing out a few and my coworkers agree thAt this one was their favorite on me by far.
